Easy check in. Nice front desk clerk!

Stayed for 2 nights on business and was impressed with how nice everyone and everything was at the hotel. Nice variety for breakfast, really good coffee, extremely friendly staff, and great room. The desk was perfect working and the recliner was so nice for reading and relaxing. And was so easy to get to my 2 job sites!

Nice rooms, desk clerk is great, very friendly and helpful.

Is the most newest and nicest place and the breakfast is the bomb.

Hotel gets 5 stars polite front desk clean rooms, very spacious my family and I with a total of 8 ended up staying two nights just because the hotel was so awesome it accommodated all of us perfectly.

It was good… Until they couldn't make room keys, had only one person at the desk to let people into rooms (causing a ten minute wait to do nothing but walk into a room). So, there was that.

Clean, comfortable with friendly attentive staff. Nice pool. Typical hotel continental breakfast. Convenient to Loop 289 South. Good value.

Caring staff! Great check-in. One problem with the room when we checked-in which was resolved quickly the the young man at the front desk. He made us feel like a valued customer. Workout room was clean and provided a good workout area for the wife and I. Wonderful breakfast.

This location is not Best Western Plus quality! The staff were wonderful but conditions of the motel are closer to what I’d expect from a lower end “value” chain. There was an odor coming from the tap water, our shower head was installed near the ceiling and didn’t have any pressure, the linens/towels were very poor quality and the room smelled like cigarette smoke. Good thing there were just two of us traveling because the room is stocked with only two full size towels! There are other details such as a stained arm chair, no warm water in the morning, digital keys that constantly have to be reset, etc. Don’t book thinking you can trust this location because of the BWP brand!

Room was nice and breakfast was excellent. Was worried that all the doors that you should be using your room key to open weren’t functioning and unlocked on the backside. The pool was out of order and wasn’t marked. I told my husband it looked bad but he got in the spa anyway then four out at checkout it was out of order.

Clean and quiet. Friendly staff. I stayed there for 5 nights. For the average eater the continental breakfast would be good but I was disappointed that they did not have any gluten-free choices. The pool was well maintained with saline instead of heavy doses of chlorine and all of the exercise equipment was in good working order. There was a problem with their key card machine so the first 2 days they had to escort all guests to their rooms to let them in and that was rather inconvient but once they got a new machine that was no longer a problem. It is a very nice place and well worth the price.

Would give it 0 stars if I could. Staff is unfriendly, besides the night auditor and the housekeeping woman no one was friendly to us. Check-in was a nightmare, too. My husband has a service dog and the woman that checked us in didn't know or follow ADA rules for service animals. If you have a service animal please do not use this hotel. I hope that they change their disregard for ADA rules but the way we were treated afterwards make me think there will be no change. Update: After filling out the survey I received a email. The General Manager Jay Patel. He did not address any of the issues we had or the treatment we received. He ignored the issue and just thanked us for liking the breakfast. It was a total slap in the face.

Not a "Plus" level hotel! Back door wouldn't lock, had wires sticking out of the door, and didn't look like this was being repaired anytime soon. Night staff wouldn't change my room, even though there was availability. Not the greatest neighborhood, but that is most of the town. The other BW in Lubbock looked way more appealing.

My husband and I came and stayed here for the night, because our AC unit broke at home — so we were only here one night. Daniel was working the front desk. He was extemely polite and welcoming. He gave a really good fist impression. The room was accommodating. There were no complaints as far as the room. The only complaint I had was the lady working the breakfast station. I went to use one of the waffle makers, she instantly told me it wasn’t working and tried to make me feel stupid about not knowing to use it even though there were no signs indicating it was not working. Then she made a big deal about having to clean the waffle maker in front of me and other guests and then loudly placed a sign on the waffle maker and sighed. It was as honest mistake, and she did her best to make me feel bad about it. Great way to start my morning.

This was a bit of a disappointment for a Best Western Plus. At this property, I always look forward to a good long soak in the hot tub but the hot tub wasn't working when we arrived. I needed to charge my phone, but the free outlet on the desk (I was using the other one for something else) didn't work. On the night stand, the lamp had two outlets. One didn't work (didn't even feel like it was making contact. ) The other one did make contact, but it was iffy. The light over the door outside the room didn't work. I felt blinded by the over bright bathroom light. We've stayed here in the past, and it's always been a good place to stay. However, it's been a few years since we were there last, and it appears to have gone down hill a bit. I'd think the Best Western management needs to get after the people responsible for the maintenance of this property. This is supposed to be a Best Western Plus property, but really, I think it failed to be up to the level of a base Best Western. Oh, and the clock radio was bright enough to light the room. I had to throw a towel over it. The next time we plan to spend a night in Lubbock, we'll ask first (by phone, how retro) if maintenance issues have been resolved.

Convenient location to Loop around Lubbock. Easy access to hotel. Friendly staff, rooms have always been clean and staff very friendly. Have stayed at this location on a number of times and never been disappointed.

Started off by not being able to cancel our room because it was too late but that doesn’t have a lot to do with that the main thing I was mad about was hot the staff over the phone were so useless, Hotel staff was rude, we also had to kill a cockroach in our room, there were no trash bags in our trash cans, electrical plugs that didn’t work, and my mom got expired milk at breakfast, the last thing I don’t blame the breakfast staff member it was well before it’s expiration date and she has no way of knowing it was expired and her breakfast and the facilities are literally the only reason this gets 2 stars and not 1. I also have pictures of the cockroach from our room for proof but can’t post them on this kind of review.

This place has a woman working the front desk who is the most unprofessional person I have ever come across in a hotel. I have tried to make a reservation there for business for someone who works for me. This woman constantly interrupts and talks over guests, scolding and lecturing. When I then asked to speak to the manager, I was told the manager/owner had been gone for two days and they didn't know when he would be back. When I asked her to please stop talking over me, she hung up on me. Go to the Holiday Inn down the street, where they hire professional, courteous staff like most hotels.

In Lubbock for son's wedding. The hotel was exceptional. Great value as well. Staff super accommodating and helpful. Bed comfy. No complaints. Highly recommend this location.

Very comfortable and is very clean.

Just don't ask for shaving cream. Fail. Funny IHG or Choice hotels seem to have anything you may have forgotten, but not Best Western. And they were rather curt with me about what they don't have as well. Maybe they should change their name to Second Best Western. Overall not quite as bad as a La Quinta, but not as nice as a Comfort Inn. Next time I'll try somewhere else.

An excellent place to stay.

This is always our home when we are in Lubbock. The rooms are always clean, the beds are comfortable, the staff are helpful and friendly, and the breakfast is always tasty.

Young gentleman working the desk was very nice.
He gave me the key to my room but it did not work so had to go back to the desk. He came and tried and had to unlock with master key he had in his wallet.
Turned heater on and listened to it rattle for about 30 minutes and then went to ask for a different room.
I got a new room (upgrade) but the ac/heater just ran and ran finally had to shut it off until I was ready for bed.
Breakfast was minimum at 7:15 AM. Very little eggs. No potatoes. No biscuits.
Rooms are older but nice. Pillows were small and bed was uncomfortable.
No printer so that hampered my work ability.
I will not chose this hotel again.
