We only walked through the lobby. It is a trendy hotel built inside of the old Pearl Brewery. These folks have done an amazing job of integrating the old brewery into their hotel motif. The hotel is located along the San Antonio River, and the grounds are quite nice with walkways along the river. The area is well worth a visit.

A fantastic experience, from the time you enter Hotel Emma to the time you leave. The designers of this hotel spared no detail. All materials are clearly if top quality, and there are too many little touches added here and there to mention. But each of them enhances the experience in its own way. The location, nearby restaurants and activities only serve to make the experience that much better. Very much worth the cost. Will definitely return.

Such a quaint beautiful hotel. Old brewhouse turned hotel, and they leave the patina of the old hotel in place while making a modern statement as well. Visited the coffee shop, and even bought some fresh beans. Just wish they had a website to buy more. Some of the best coffee I've ever had.

This place is awesome. It is an old historic brewery turned hotel and restaurant. Everything is first class. It's located right on the river in San Antonio with lots of fun all around. I did not stay overnight but everything I saw and experienced was excellent. I look forward to staying next visit.

I will be honest, I have never stayed the night in the hotel, but absolutely love the bar (Sternwirth) and mini grocery store (Larder). They are great places to take out of town guests and always on the date night option list. The decor and architecture are wonderful.

I love the atmosphere of this amazing historic location. Being a former brewery, the Hines of the factory are in display as they merge the structure of the past with the practical decor of the present in a modern industrial design. The spaces feel open and spacious yet the soft furnishings and warm touches make it a great place to visit. The coffee shop, food store in the Larder is a must visit as well! I never miss an opportunity to visit when I am close!

Stunning interior, and an impressive cocktail offering. My wife and I were visiting San Antonio for three days, staying elsewhere unfortunately, and visited the Pearl District, where Hotel Emma is located, all three days. That should tell you a little about how well the Emma is located. The atmosphere is especially lively on the weekends during the farmers market. Offerings range from beer, coffee, Tex Mex ready to eat, true local vegetables, and an assortment of sweets. We had no plans to return to San Antonio, but the beauty of Hotel Emma and the appeal of its location insure we will return.

Did not stay here. Just stopped by to see the building. Great place to visit. Fun to see wedding guests arrive and a definite Black Tie apparel. A drinking room / Library. Fireplace with Cubbies to sit and read a book. Antique pieces in the lobby. Folks gathering in the lobby just for conversation. Parking was a block away, free parking.

We walked around the outside of Hotel Emma and snapped pics of so much beauty and activity that adds to its unique location on the River Walk and adjacent to Pearl Brewery complex. Watched guests being served breakfast or brunch on the outside cafe. Noticed a new bridge that now allows guests and public to cross over River to another parking area and to gain access to more walking areas. Close by are bicycles for rent! Cruise around on bikes for $12/hour. Lots to do and see. Bravo!

Excellent restaurant/bar with a relaxed atmosphere and luxurious. Decoration industrial style. Affordable prices considering the venue and quality.

Hotel Emma in the Pearl District is amazing. We fell in love with the place and couldn’t get over how every detail was accounted for. The public spaces are spacious yet intimate at the same time. The way the space incorporated the relics and materials from the past while functioning seamlessly in the present is a credit to the designers. You couldn’t imagine a better anchor for this riverside neighborhood.

Had a week long conference at Hotel Emma and it went flawlessly. Everything was as they promised, the bill was 100% correct, and their TEAM was incredible. Absolutely perfect experience. Highly recommend considering them for a conference or even a weekend get-a-way. Scale 15 on 1 out of 10. amazing!

Such a beauty to behold! Rich in history. There is a historic wonders for the eye to behold at every turn! What a lovey ambiance and if you're needing a bite to eat the pulled pork sandwich and hamburger are great choices! Hotel Emma also has inventive cocktails. The renegade of rums was a good cocktail. If you get a chance, stop in for a visit as this place does not dissapoint!

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. I have only been on the ground floor. The food, drinks, and service are excellent. The hotel is near a lot of little shops and restaurants. It is also right next to the San Antonio river walk. Maybe one day I will actually get to stay in this Grand hotel!

Hotel Emma is one of the most beautiful hotels I have visited. It is located in Pearl, close to delicious restaurants, bakeries, and neat shops. There is also a nice book store coffee shop and the hotel is right next to the River Walk. The interior is full of surprises. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are cozy and quiet. There is also a neat boutique shop on the first level, along with a small market. The hotel bar is also cool and gets crowded at night. I wouldn't stay anywhere else when visiting San Antonio.

One of my all one favorite places in San Antonio! This gorgeous Roman and Williams designed industrial heaven pays homage to its past as a brewery with he modern sophistication and delightful modern conveniences of best in class accommodations. The bar program is a standout here — excellent spirit forward cocktails. Supper is alright, not the highlight of the hotel but the more casual space is where it’s at. Grab a drink in the lobby, visit larder and the gift shop for an expertly curated shopping experience. I️ never miss a visit when I’m in town.

This Hotel is Amazing! I'm actually trying not to cry writing this review. We stayed here for my Niece's wedding. We are from New York. We stayed the night before the wedding and this hotel is excellent and the staff is excellent! We loved it so much we booked a night for our niece and her husband on their wedding night. Our niece and her husband stay on the base. Her newly husband has cancer and has been fighting cancer for almost a year. Cassie from the bar went up and beyond for us and to make their wedding night unforgettable! She is a sweetheart. It was the best night they had in months! This hotel is about making you have the best stay you will ever have at a hotel ever! Thank you everyone at Hotel Emma for making our stay and our niece and her husband the most memorable experience we ever had!

Frequently go to the hotel bar for after work drinks. Staff is always extremely professional. They have a large selection of liquor and a decent selection of beer. Prices are above average but equal to other quality bars in the area.

Amazing hotel! Even if you don't choose to stay there the hotel itself is amazing just to go and walk through it to see how they transformed it from the Pearl Brewery into a hotel/restaurant/bar. The bar has the best handcraft cocktails! The entire Pearl brewery area is one of my favorite places to go hang out here in SA!

Fantastic Hotel! We stayed here the night of our wedding and everyone, the valet, the bell hops, the concierge and the entire hotel staff were amazing. The hotel itself is beautiful. The architecture of the hotel, the furniture, the vintage brewing equipment, were so well thought out to give this place such a unique feel. Our room was amazing, private balcony with a view of the Riverwalk and a fireplace! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique authentic Texas vacation.

There was nothing wrong with the hotel, only great things. The amenities were fantastic, from the well-stocked bar (complete with little limes to make yourself a margarita! ) to the bars and restaurants. Everyone who worked there was friendly, even saying “hi” as we passed in the hallways. The location is excellent, as well — walk downtown to Esquire and stop at Paramour on the way.

Family was at Hotel Emma staying while visiting from Colorado. After stopping by for coffee I found my car missing. Security had no idea who took it. After calling the police it was located at a tow company. Had to take taxi to a tow lot and pay over $200 to get it back. My family visit was ruined as most of the evening was spent locating our car. Wonderful place but watch where you park.

Very good hotel, spectacular bar with wonderful adaptation of the Old brewery.

The hotel decorations are beautiful and the lighting is dim to elicit a relaxed vibe. The bar area is possibly one of the coolest I've ever seen and the drinks are delicious. I had a caipirinha remix that was strong in taste and price, but worth it. It's a cool place to check out and any date would be deemed to end well unless you're a complete turd.

Just amazing hotel! I have no words to describe. Hip, stylish and great service with perhaps the best mini-bar on the planet. I mean you can make your own custom margarita!

Beautiful. My daughter and husband stayed there on their visit. They said every detail was taken care of. The smallest detail was not overlooked. Front desk very helpful.

Even though we live in San Antonio, my wife still love to stay at the Emma. It's easily one of the best hotels I've stayed in all over the world. Rooms are well appointed, service is amazing and the scene in the Pearl is really fun. Highly recommend!

It's a beautiful hotel with a nice view. It is located at The Pearl, San Antonio. I went looking for a job and the workers were fast, prompt and nice when responding to my request. The hotel surrounding is cool, cost with stores around. Put simply, it's a wonderful place.

Beautiful location and worth every penny! The amenities are refined and no detail is spared! From the service at the front desk to turning down the bed in the evening… the hotel is great. The bar service is fantastic and there's Beauty in every corner!

The hotel is beautiful but we waited for quite a while to get drinks. It was a Saturday night so the crowd was quite large so be aware that peak hours are super busy. Otherwise, it was a great experience with wonderful drinks and service.

We had not been in it before and we're curious. The reception desk was friendly and answered my questions. The unique lobby surprised me since it is definitely not what you expect. The Library is amazing. It is a relaxed, well-done hotel.

Just love the atmosphere. Love LOVE good and presentation. Our waitresses have always been polite, helpfull ready to help anyway they can. One day hope to meet chef's… My granddaughter introduced me to this place. WOW … she DOES have GREAT tastes.
