3rd floor with my son freshly operated … No elevator or stairs. Not why I wanted to see.

This hotel is a cute, quiet there are many trees around h their dwells ukend are comfortable.

I checked in July 20, 2019. I found underwear and hairs in the bed. The room was not clean at all. I had a Girl’s Trip at Six Flags. Front desk clerk had a look of shame and embarrassment on her face. I didn’t stay their for that night, I ended up driving 50 miles out my way to found another hotel brand (their was a big event in San Antonio so one other rooms were available but 50 miles plus). Let be clear in live in Killeen and Army Veteran. I never experienced this in the military and/ or civilian world. I will never recommended this place to anyone. This considered a 4 star hotel (someone got that wrong).

The rooms are nice. Beds are comfy. The shower is the best. It has a very powerful shower head. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Very nice rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Heidi the night clerk is especially great. She us very helpful and kind, goes out of her way and thinks outside the box to help her guests. Very tasty breakfast with good choices. Convenient location for my needs.

We stayed two nights for the first time this past week, the hotel was very clean in general. All the staff we encountered with were all friendly. I even lost my phone over night and the next morning an employee found it and turned it in to the front desk. We will most definitely be using this hotel when we return to San Antonio.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The King Suite was very comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant to work with. I recommend this hotel and plan to stay again in the future.

Room 313, excellent little space. Breakfast bagels and fruit we're good, other options somewhat limited. Very attentive and professional staff. I like the indoor spa/pool, but it needs maintenance. Great value for the location, safety, and property.

My room was filthy, they did not clean it properly. Found food and food stains all over the floor. Let my 1 year old walk around the room and when I picked him up his feet were black (the room had carpet). Called and told whoever was in charge and they had no rooms available. They also did not give me or offer any discount. Only reason I gave 2 stars is because the bed was comfortable. Will not book again. 1 more thing to add the pool had too much chlorine, kids were throwing up and coughing (they have an indoor pool on the first floor). I stayed by the pool and as soon as I passed by there my eyes started to burn really bad.

I wish I would have read reviews before booking at this hotel! I called to book a room and was transferred to a "booking agent" and I requested a handicap accessible room. The agent ASSURED me a HA room, so I booked it. I paid for the room and when I arrived to the hotel I was told I had not paid. I paid again and after this I should have known this was going to be all down hill. The lady at the front desk assured I would only have 1 charge. Although I did not have an actual second charge, they did hold another nights worth on my card as I suspected would happen. So beware of that as well. My biggest concern was the handicap accessible room. The lady at the front desk stated I didn't book a HA room. And I had! It's hot in SA and all I wanted was a bath and some AC. I get into the room and after a few I realize the bathroom is NOT HA. I tell the front desk and she switched me. I go again and check and the only thing in there that is handicap accessible is a damn a shower bar. I could not fit my wheelchair in the bathroom to even take a damn bath. It was 10pm and I didn't want to try and search another hotel. Management emailed with an apology. Sorry doesn't cut it. This place is a joke! Don't book here!

Let me start off by saying this was the worst hot wt l stay I have ever had. Wife and myself checked in late 10pm. First room we were put in, TV did not work, and power in bathroom did not work. Second room, was completely not clean and smelled like feces in the hallway. Third room had blood on the curtains. When we went to check out in the morning there was literally no one at desk. The desk agent left to go home and only one of the housekeeping ladies to run breakfast and desk. Was told she could not check me out because she physically couldn't. I called later that morning and spoke to Hailey who actually told me that the issues I had "are not my problem because I was not on shift". I called no less than 12 times to the hotel and told complete lies everytime. Story changed every time I called. Was told Ricky was temporary manager and when I finally got him on the phone and I asked for the manager he said manager was not in. Not until I called him on his lie did he confess to being the manager. He took my info and told me he would call within a few hours. Never heard from him, tried calling several more times and again started the phone game. Worst hotel experience in over probably 500 hotel stays.

It's comfortable I'd come back on another chance.

Rooms and overall hotel was very clean. Extremely friendly staff. The only thing was the lack of selection when it came to breakfast. The overall breakfast area was quite small.

I really wish there was a negative rating I could put in here. This place is terrible and if I hadn’t already paid in advance for staying here, I would have gone somewhere else immediately. The clerks are rude as well as the house keeping staff. Broken glass windows all over the place dead plants outside and only one entrance. Sure there’s exits but you cant get back in. Not to mention the smell. The whole place smells of mildew especially the staircase. Not to mentio…n the overpowering smell of marijuana. Maybe someone should check into that too. The first night I showed up the woman at the front desk was so incompetent. Gave me a key card that wouldn’t even work. Then tried to program it again and guess what? It STILL DIDNT WORK! Not to mention I had to call a phone number from a sign she taped to the desk just to get someone to come out to the desk to help me. Then today I couldn’t get in my room. The house keeping woman was so rude and acted like we were trying to steal something. All our clothes are still in the room. They put in the wrong check out date. Three days early! This place is ridiculous. No one knows what’s going on. Rude employees and lousy food. I will never stay at another comfort inn ever. Get your head outta your rear.

Not bad accommodations for the price. The free breakfast was very good, with several food and drink options, including fresh fruit. The swimming pool was nice, too. The staff was friendly and helpful. The biggest negative was the wear and tear of the place and cleanliness. It wasn't dirty, but it could all use a good cleaning, especially the carpets. I also think the vacuuming could be done more regularly. It is in a quiet area and overall not bad for the price.

This is the worst hotel. I basically have gotten the run around. We stayed there about 3 weeks ago and two nights in a row the smoke alarm went off… No, there was no fire. They just had a problem with the alarm. The first night it woke me up around 3:00 … The 2nd night we stayed there, when the alarm went off again and would not go off, we went ahead and went downstairs to the lobby 'just in case this was the real deal' … Everyone else in the hotel was there also. This was 2:00am in the morning. The guy behind the front desk did apologize and the alarm was on for about 2 hours… The front desk guy said that we would all be "compensated" (which turned out to be a joke) … I was been leaving messages for the manager Ruby for 2 weeks and she has not returned my calls. I was told others had been calling also. I'm not looking for a full credit for that particular night of $140 that we paid, but I think at least a partial credit is what is right… Everyone in the hotel was in the lobby for at least 2 hours… from 2am to 4am… I was so mad that the manager is not returning my calls… when we were told that in some form we were all be compensated. The worst hotel ever… and by the way, the breakfast food was terrible…

Outstanding staff, cooperative. Clean room at a reasonable rate. Located near a variety of restaurants and entertainment hubs that we were able to enjoy on a limited time frame. Extreme Escape and iFLY Indoor Skydiving to name a few outside of the tourist Riverwalk area. Was in good company!

Horrible experience that we are still trying to have acknowledged! Type room we reserved not available. In the room we were given the TV didn’t work, the a/c-heat controls didn’t work & there were roaches everywhere including in the bed between the comforter & sheet. The manager is non-responsive. A complaint has been filed with corporate, but no reaction to that yet either. Don’t stay here! Addition to review: hotel manager NEVER returned our many calls. Corporate finally refunded our charges.

The absolute worst of any hotel I’ve stayed at. Blood on sheets possibly from bedbugs, massively blocked A/C unit because of dust. The filter had never been changed. Changed rooms. This is a place where construction workers live during long term projects. Garbage all over the parking lot. Had to switch rooms again because there was no hot water. Can’t get our money back from Expedia for some reason.

Only saw one roach so I guess they're starting to get that under control. Bathroom fan didn't work first night so morning showers made it a sauna. Morning was a sweet release from the dinosaurs in the room above us. This place has THIIIINNN floors! Absolutely insist on the top floor unless you're a heavy sleeper and come prepared with ear plugs. Not to mention how the building shakes when children run up and down the halls. Trying to adjust the shower head revealed it was very loosely connected to something as the pipe moved around wildly within the hole in the wall. Basically the hole in the wall is WAY bigger than it needs to be and lets the pipe swing around and move. Speaking of shower movement, the bottom of the tub/shower feels… unstable at best. I was afraid I was going to step on the wrong soft spot and fall through. They also chose CHECK IN TIME ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY to pressure wash the entire covered entry way. I don't know why they decided to do it 2 days in a row, it looks the same. I don't know why they did it during check in time, the smell of gas, cigarette smoke, and misting of dirty water was a bad welcome. I don't know why the left it closed the entire time I was there, even after the pavement dried. No, there was not another choice on getting in we were made aware of. The tiny parking lot wraps all the way around the building, and you're gonna have to walk it to the one single entrance.

I found dirty underwear in the dresser from a previous guest. The bed sheets were stained. The breakfast area only has about 6 or 7 tables, so there was never anywhere to sit and eat. The only person responsible for the breakfast area was also the same person working the front desk. So there was always a very long line of people waiting to get food. More than once I poured a cup of coffee and ended up with a mouthful of coffee grounds. When we were checking out at the end of our visit, they accidentally charged our card too much. It took 45 minutes to resolve the problem. The manager refused to come out of the office and speak to me about the problem. I quickly realized that several other guests were all having the same issue. Some of the guests were told that the manager was gone all weekend, while other guests revealed that they had spoken to the manager several times during the weekend. I wouldn't go back to this hotel unless I was in a dire situation.

I read the reviews prior to booking and thought that this hotel wouldn’t be as bad. But I was wrong! Lobby is as dirty. Pool was extremely dirty and very very hot inside! I was very disappointed in this hotel.

The rooms are great. Everything is great except for the breakfast. Scrambled Eggs are hard and cold, sausages had a lot of oil on them, I even bite into it and it was cold inside. So gross. Definitely the worst hotel breakfast I've had.

We stayed at this hotel on the night of 1/23/18. Picked this hotel because it had excellent reviews & no mentions of bed bugs. Had a reservation secured with credit card. Checked in around 7 pm & they didn’t have the king bed room we reserved, but gave us a double queen room. Ok with us. Got into the room &, because we’d been driving for hours then visiting my family (death in family) for more hours, we were exhausted. Husband went to shower, I tried to watch tv. One channel would tune in—Nickelodeon! We’re in our 70’s. We don’t watch that! Husband called desk, someone came while I was in the shower, couldn’t get TV going. Husband tried to turn on a/c fan—nothing on the controls would function! Room temp was ok so just went to bed. An hour or so later I went into bathroom & flipped on the light & little roaches ran every way! Stomped as many as I could, took a deep breath & went to bed. Breakfast the next morning was so-so. Left complaints with desk person, no manager till later. Back to room to dress for my brother’s funeral. Husband found & killed 2 little roaches between the comforter & the sheet of my bed. Took pics, went back to desk to display & we packed up & left as quickly as possible! We have yet to receive a return call from the hotel manager. Have left several messages for her. Called corporate 3 days ago & a case # was assigned. Still no call from the hotel manager. Do not stay at this hotel if you have a choice!

I cannot say enough about this Hotel! First the room was great very clean and comfortable. But, what really won me over was the next morning when we went to check out an Ice storm was rolling through the San Antonio area and our car was covered with a thick sheet of ice. The young man at the front desk came running to our rescue with water to pour over our iced up windows as it was so think we couldn't scrape them. Trip after trip back and forth he ran all the while with a huge smile on his face as he was freezing and being saturated with water. I have never experienced customer service at this level ever anywhere! I soon found out he had been doing this all morning for all of his guests. When I went to tip him he begged me not too he said please ma'am I have done it for everyone and I just wanna help. Then I insisted and would not take no for an answer I told him son if you've been doing this all morning for all of these people in the freezing cold and you're still going with a smile on your face you have earned every dime of my small gesture! I wish I new his name because Management should give that man a pat on the back with a great big raise! He was outstanding if we all had attitudes and work ethic like that young man the world would be a better place❤ Thank you so much for Everything!

Only thing good about this place is the price. I booked the queen suite and it was super dusty. There were scuffs and scratches all over the furniture. The pull out couch had a good size tear in the cushion. Bathroom was small and needs updated. Would NOT recommend!

Horrible experience! Reservations were not honored. Their excuse “ Oh it was a New employee who took your reservations” then after three weeks of tracking down a manager, I get to talk to a Female assistant manager whom tells me she will discuss my bad experience with the General Manager. Three weeks later I’m still waiting for a courtesy call or apology from someone even after I emailed the so called general manager. From what I have pieced together he actually runs two of these properties and I have not been successful in reaching him at either hotels. I wonder if the owner of the hotel knows this, or if he’s the owner His business is gonna go down the toilet soon. Will never stay there again! Tearing up my membership with Choice Hotels after 8 year membership.

While there may be a few items needing attention like peeling paint on the pool ceiling or heaters/tvs not operational (We were given a dif room as soon as the issue was discovered & desk staff was super gracious about addressing the problem) this was a perfect hotel for our San Antonio trip. The price was right, room size was great, housekeeping was on top of things & the hot breakfast was enough to sustain us for a day of sightseeing. We'd definately use this hotel again & recommend to friends as well. Thank you for a very nice stay.

Place has a low quality standard it use to be clean and with great staff even though they try to give their best is just not there anymore rooms are dirty and service is poor.

I had made a reservation since 3 weeks ago because it was for medical reason. Then when I showed up yesterday they couldn't fine my reservation at all smh wow really wow! My son is special needs it was for his apt. Then okay they fine me a room but at a way higher price. So I won't be staying there next time I got.

Everything was clean. Love the free breakfast, delicious texas shape waffles. Didn't need very much, so everything pretty good.

Check in went smooth, however when we arrived back at the hotel after running around for a few hours we walked into the bathroom which smelt like weed. With my 2 year old with us, we asked to transfer rooms, we did that with no issues. The second night we were there we decided to go check out the indoor pool which smelt like chlorine so bad it made your eyes burn. The breakfast was awful and the room keys stopped working on 3 different occasions. The housekeeper also tried to walk into our room with the “do not disturb” sign in the card slot in the door. Thank goodness the latch was locked. Then when you needed something, there was never anyone at the front desk. Will never stay here again.

It isn't a luxury hotel, but for the price is nice and very comfortable. Friendly staff, nice pool and hot tub area, comfortable room, shower has great water pressure. Basic hotel breakfast is ok, but expected. We have stayed here twice and probably will again in the future.

BAD HOTEL! 2 of the 3 night we stayed the TV did not work on the first floor and they said we cannot get another room because the hotel was full, they never cleaned our room, the first morning there was no power in the hotel so the breakfast was not complete and I had to dry my hair in a store, the 3rd night we found out the lock on the door did not work, but again we cannot receive another room, the only thing the employees said was that they dont know what to say, bad experience in this hotel and the employees never offered an apology and the manager never show up.

Clean, nice, and neat. The coffee maker was missing a piece, and the person staying with me complained about the bathtub size. (not an issue in my opinion. ) Very small breakfast selection, and the shower was pretty weak in pressure.

Here right now. JUST SHOWED the man in the front the pic (i just took) of a roach in our closet. He had NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS, didn't offer to accommodate me and switch to a NEW CLEANER room, and instead just said "ill have maintenance take care of it" yea I could've done that too! Im here on vaycay with my sister in the room over, MONEY BEING WELL SPENT! 3 nights EACH! For someone who kept her reservation and came sick as a dog he couldve helped me out a whole lot better than that!

Spent the night here with my 2 college friends who visited from out of town once. Slept great and it was very comfy! The service was awesome, too. Glad I kept them in mind when my boyfriend and his mom visited last month. When they came into town, they saw how sketchy their original hotel was, so they immediately canceled that reservation. Luckily, I told them to come here and my boyfriend and his mom got the very last room with 2 queen beds! Once again, the staff was awesome and helpful, and their rates were reasonable.

Be warned. We moved to 4 different rooms, all of which had cockroaches. We kept thinking our stay would get better but our dissatisfaction with the hotel increased over our three night stay. The backdoor of the hotel was propped open during our entire stay with people smoking out back. The stairwell had fast food trash all over and was not vacuumed. Management missed two appointments to meet with us to discuss our issues. The 1/2 night refund and 10k points did make up for the late night bugs, room switching, and a management go-around. When I asked for a full refund at the end of my stay, Shane (the general manager) blamed me for hoping the next night's room would be better and suggested I was an irresponsible parent for having my kids stay in their hotel after having issues the first night. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for a discount stay.

Very friendly staff and front desk service. Breakfast was warm and good. Love that there's a sofa in each room and has an indoor pool. Tub drainage needs fixing but otherwise was a good experience. Definitely coming back.

Rented 3 different rooms TV didn't work in one, horrible stains on floor in the other, the 3rd room hadnt even been cleaned when they gave us the room key for it, requested 3 pm check-in had only one room available at that time had to wait almost 2 hours for the other two rooms, they definitely need more staff, but beds were comfy and pool was great.

I would say my stay was excellent up until the final night. It seems there is only one person on staff and somehow I was locked out of my room. The lock pad was somehow placed and the door and was unable to be opened. We had to wait for the maintenance guy and that has already been 40 min. And the front desk clerk couldn't even give me a room cause his information was limited. It would seem the front desk clerk didn't know what rooms he had available. Plus he doesn't even know how to get in touch with maintenance. I recommend the Holiday Inn Express. Nothing against you Comfort Suites but for the price the staffing needs to be better than this. Especially onsite maintaince and a manager day and night.

What more do you expect for a 2 star hotel, dirty and very bad management, Ruby who is the manager there apparently is never available or for that fact there in person physically, the front desk host who goes by the name Ricky is very compassionate for each guest insuring everyone is well taken care for and is having a pleasant stay, he goes above and beyond, I just don't understand why such a inexperienced woman is managing this hotel and not him.

You can hear people talking in the room next door and every footstep from the people upstairs. TV went out during game 6 of the NBA finals and couldn't be fixed. Won't stay here again.

The entire hotel building smells awful. As soon as my girlfriend I entered the halls to look for our room, we were greeted with an awful smell. It smelt like really strong old lady perfume. Not only in a certain area, but the whole complex and once we got o our room, it was even worse. We basically spent all day out of the hotel to avoid the unbearable smell and came back only to sleep. A hotel should be a comfortable, nice smelling environment to make people feel at home whilst traveling, not the opposite. I was absolutely disgusted by this smell, and I'm not exaggerating. Don't stay here if you have a weak stomach.

The rooms here are clean and the beds are comfortable. I used to frequent this place all the time but after my latest experience I will never come here again. The lady in the front (S. Patel) was incredibly rude for no reason. She took 15 minutes to show up to the front desk when I was checking in and acted as if I had greatly inconvenienced her. She didn't smile, and was incredibly short to a paying customer. She gave me an audible sigh when I asked what the Wi-Fi code was. Basically, she ruined an otherwise 4-star establishment for me. There's other places close by that charge a similar amount and have a better breakfast and faster Wi-Fi.

Did not receive requested adjoining rooms. One of the rooms was not cleaned. Pool room smelled of chlorine really bad. Free breakfast was good quality.

Check your bathroom. There was urine and hair all over the floor and used soap in the shower. The manager was not helpful and did nothing to rectify the situation.

We absolutely loved the our stay here. It's in a safe area and should be rated more than a two star hotel. The room was really nice, comfortable bed and friendly staff. What more could you ask for? (No I don't work here lol)

Hotel was nice and clean. Friendly staff at front desk and during breakfast. The hotel is located in a quiet and safe area.

The service is friendly, but very improvised, some days do not do the rooms and when the make is minimal, cleaning is very bad. The breakfast is insufficient.

Staff was very friendly. Was clean and breakfast was good, workers quickly replaced items needed and food was warm. Only thing is that carpets do need replacement and rooms are a bit smaller then other comfort suites I have stayed at. Would stay here again :)

They were very good! Everyone was very friendly and helpful! Rooms were very nice and clean! everyone that works there always had a smile and a kind word! Thanks for everything that you did for me and my dad!

The people at the Comfort Suites were all very nice. We had several problems which in my mind are serious. First of all, our daughter (who was not checked into the room with us) was allowed in our room when the key we gave her wasn't working. The problem didn't lie in her being let in but in the fact that no one checked who she was before letting her in. I'm glad we had all of our valuables with us because what if someone else had been let in our room? Pretty scary! The second and third serious offenses were that our room hadn't been vacuumed before we checked in. I found fingernail clippings on the couch and on the carpet in front of the couch. We were really grossed out. Also, the soap holders in the shower had soap residue on them. I kept wondering what else wasn't clean! I wouldn't choose to stay here again but if they clean up their act, I may rethink my decision.

Rooms were nice looking, but really poor use of space. That was all fine, until this morning when the fire alarm went off for about half an hour. I went down to the lobby and they said. "Oh we're just testing it. We do it monthly". But they didn't give us any warning that they were testing it. It would've been nice to have some early warning so we could get out and spend some time away from this, but instead we're woken up in our room to fire alarm squelching. Would not stay here again.

Horrible experience. The swimming pool area was dirty every morning we went down there. They never stocked up there towels either. So many people had to get out of the pool and walk to the front desk and ask for a towel, you would think after the second person at least that someone would go put towels in but no one ever came. The floors thru out the halls were dirty, some one doesnt know how to vaccum I guess. But the room was OK. Besides the cleaning during our stay, because they didnt clean the tubs or vaccum when everything was noticeable to do so. But we just let it go. We left for a couple days and then came back and they gave us a room on the 2nd floor. Once we get out on the floor it was once again dirty floors dirty walls. Ok, wat ever lets just check the room, well they gave us a dirty room that was never cleaned. So me and my husband and our 3 kids went back down to front desk and told them, they appologized and gave us a room on the 3rd floor, we walked in and it smelt like shit. Literally. And where the coffee tray is, there was sugar packages open and god knows what else. There was a coke that exploded in the fridge. When we moved the chair there was chips crumbs. And coke atains all over the woods. We left again and went and complained, they gave us another room. I asked for brand new sheets and everything before we went back up. The room was desent. At this point its already 2 in the morning. Morning comes and we notice things we didnt see last.

Had a Health and Wellness meeting at this location using their conference room and the staff was wonderful! Very willing to help out with anything we needed. The place was super clean and everything worked out wonderfully. The location was easy to find and very good location. Will be doing business with them again very soon! =) Live Healthy everyone.

It is good hotel to stay. Kids like indoor pool there especially in winter. We will go there again.

It looks so wonderful and so beautiful and I just can't wait 2 go up their thus July were going to six flags sea world and 2 the mall it's gonna be so awesome now that I saw all the reviews I can actually find a good hotel that has a low price and is very good.

The breakfast was good, quiet area, nice staff. The only problem I had was that when they turned the pool and hot tub off, we noticed that the water in both were a bit discolored and gloomy. Other than that, when occupied, you would not even notice that it was a bit "different". Hotel was clean and comfortable. We always need extra towels and that was no problem. Housekeeping was fast. Would I stay there again if given the chance? Yes. Spacious rooms. Secluded area, but close to a lot of things. Staff was great.

Awesome. Just awesome. The staff was incredibly friendly and respectful, the room was beautiful (the beds are so comfy! ), indoor pool and spa, exercise room, great complimentary breakfast, and free high speed Wi-Fi. Everything was very high quality and we got the manager's special for just $99 plus tax.
