Very basic room. Needs some updating in bathroom and lamp on table for paper /computer work plus more electric plug ins.

Economical, clean friendly environment.

Well to start with. The front desk clerk 4/5 could have been much nicer. Asked twice for a Wi-Fi password but still have not gained access. Called the front desk, and yet still no answer. I told him I am a blogger, still not budging. I am absolutely certain that man did not like me when I set foot in the door. He admitted he was not the owner, when I asked to review the hotel on my blog, and told me the motel was going under. Now I know exactly why.

Typical old Motel, but OK. One gets what one is willing to pay for. I was the second Time there. Thank you.

I used to travel for work so I have a lot of experience staying in motels. I only require the basics: a TV, microwave, bed and a nice chair (the chair in my room was comfortable! ) to sit in. This place is old but it was clean. The bed was hard but I always bring an extra thick foam pad and pillows with me anytime I travel to any type of motel. I slept well. The room had a king-size bed, non-smoking, for $68 and some change. My only issue was the lock on the door. I thought it automatically locked when I shut it but after I got settled in I went to check the lock on the door and just barely pulled on the door and it opened without me even turning the latch! I realized the door wasn't locked and it took me 5 minutes of messing with the door to get the bolt to lock properly. I went out again to retrieve something and had the same problem all over again. So, I just stayed inside. Also, it took a while for the air conditioning to get cold. Overall, it was not a bad experience for the money. If you want five star service go to a 5-star Motel.

It was super cheap so I was skeptical how it was going to be. But it was very clean and comfortable.

Outside not much to look at, but the inside is clean. Booked online and had no trouble checking in, was in my room quickly. For a budget motel $51 was a great deal, no coffee in room, understandable, but when I went to office for coffee in the morning there was nothing available. Other than the coffee I was completely happy with my over night stay.

The heater/cooler is so loud that I couldn't barely sleep.

Basic. No breakfast. Clean. Cable. Comfortable bed. Will come again.

It was really affordable, and easy to find. There was a TV with cable and free coffee in the morning. We liked the bed, but the shower was really hard to use because of how broken it was. The microwave was also broken, but it heated up our food. The room wasn't very clean. It was a good place to sleep and leave, worked well for us. I've stayed before and the other room was nicer and very clean. The owners are very nice and they gave me things I requested.

After booking a room online for this dump, I took one look at the place on arrival and cancelled my reservations. The staff is rude, mouthy even, and puts out a minimal effort to accommodate guests. They need new owners.

Great deal on the room. I stayed for 4 nights and it only cost $270. The bed is comfortable, new tv, microwave, fridge, the AC was great and cold. I will be staying here in the future when I visit Alpine.

It's not much to look at from the outside, but the rooms are big, recently renovated, and very clean. Great value and friendly staff.

Clean crisp sheets, very comfortable bed, I sleeped like a baby.

Staff refused to honor reservation without paying additional cash to him personally for his trouble. The manager Refused to speak to priceline or give his name in order to resolve the challenge. The disrespectful front desk attendant brings shame to the town of alpine. Take care.

Long story short, communication between coworkers is a little off when it comes to reservations. Good Wi-Fi and cleaner than some places. Sometimes forget to do the daily room service: making the beds, taking out the trash, clean towels, etc.

Nice for a budget motel, the tv's arent lame anymore =hd tv's In rhe future when visiting Alpine this is where I will be staying.

Not bad, costed $65 with tax.

Stayed here with my wife on our way to Big Bend. This is one of the nicest basic budget motels we have ever stayed at. Clean and up to date. Tv is lame, but get used to it out in these parts.
