My parents we’re coming in on Amtrak alone they are not techie savey. So I called ahead. The front desk got their schedule and had a shuttle pick them up. She was even able to accommodate them on the first floor. My mom was so happy with the service she said she felt like VIP. That’s what matter to me.

Hotel is very clean, rooms are very clean, plenty of space. We had a room with a king sized bed, it was very comfortable. Our only issue was breakfast. A cooler with 4 or 5 ready for the microwave breakfast sandwiches & the usual packaged donuts & sweet rolls. A lame breakfast for a $100 a night hotel. We went to McDonald's for a hot breakfast.

Nice people that run it so come stay with them.

I have stayed there for years both personally and for business. I've spent a ton of money there. Never had any issues until recently. Tried to resolve the problem with management and got nowhere. Horrible customer service from the manager. Repeatedly failed to call back when she said she would. Very poor communication from her. I've taken my business elsewhere.

Breakfast was a madhouse but the room was clean, comfortable and quiet. It was disturbing that the exterior security door had been rigged to stay open with duct tape.

It's very cozy! And This Dog Loves It!, P. S I did not bring a animal over there.

Just wanted to say that of all the hotels I ever checked into I have never been refused to "see the room". I tried to stay at this place tonight and the front desk clerk told me he was "not allowed" to show ANY of the rooms… so I politely told him, I'm not spending $150, for a "SURPRISE" I want to see what the room looks like, if you "cant" show me, then I'm not staying here… went across the street to Holiday Inn Express, and the level of professionalism and personality was just beyond expectations… so I spent my $150 there!

Nice place but the light in the room didn't work. Didn't call staff. Everything else was good enough.

Overall this was not a very good experience first off the location is far off the highway we do not expect this when we made our reservation we were told during a reservation process that it was very close to I-10 when in fact it's almost 40 miles away next when we arrived and went up to the second floor there was a very prominent smell of cigarette smoke all over the second floor even though we had a non-smoking room and we went in our room there was some sort of smell it was not cigarettes but definitely a fairly strong smell and luckily I was able to open the windows and within an hour our room was smelling good. They did have a pretty large breakfast buffet that offered quite a few nice things also the pool looks really nice but we were too pressed for time to use it. When we were there the ice machine upstairs did not work and we had to go downstairs to get ice.

A beautiful inn with a relaxing hot tub and pool, exceptional and caring staff, and good breakfast. The perfect way to cap a trip to Big Bend.

When we first walked in they were very polite and generous. We were new to the area so my mother asked "is there any good restaurant in town" and he gave us some places to look at and it turns out the place we ate at was indeed good.

Nice place. Very good price. Beautiful pool. I would definitely recommend.

Normal hot breakfast, eggs, waffles, sausage and gravy, among the normal yogurt, breads, and coffee/juices. The hotel is clean and easy access. Seems fairly new or renovated. No elevators for access to the second floor, just a set of stairs by the entrance (if you have a lot of things, they offer help to take it to your room).

Very disappointed with this stay, and will not be returning. When we checked out of our hotel room, we were given a receipt. Well, apparently, I was given the wrong receipt and management took it upon themselves to authorize an additional charge on my account. I cannot help that your front desk made a mistake, but when you start authorizing charges beyond the final receipt I was given, that's unacceptable. Spoke with Jana (4 letters as she was sure to specify for me), and she had nothing to tell me accept this was standard. We take this trip every year, but will be sure to mark this stay off our list. I don't feel honoring the final receipt I was given is too much to ask.

This was not a bad place. We used it for an overnight stay on our way to Mexico. It was perfect. The room was clean and comfortable. The food for breakfast was okay. The only thing was the walls between rooms are really thin, but for a roadside stop… just great.

Was there for college rodeo. Staff was very friendly and room was nice. It was close to rodeo grounds. Breakfast and coffee was good also.

Omg. This place is great. Beautiful, VERY comfortable room with all the mod cons. Great internet. Super comfortable beds; I slept fantastic. They have the good breakfast buffet in the morning. Everything tasted yummy. The only down side was our room was upstairs, but on the plus side again, the staff carried our luggage up and back down again for us. We had a lovely view out our room's window, too. I would definitely stay there again.

It's not that it's a bad place to stay, but when you pay $291 for 2 nights, and the only benefit is the same breakfast, I can get at another hotel, anywhere is atrocious. I could understand if this was a busy weekend, or hunting season, but with nothing going on this is ridiculous.

Had 2 queen size beds in a sizable room with an extremely delicious waffle breakfast and a hot tub spa that was wonderful all by itself. The motif was interesting all on its own. With the adobe facade and the western theme inside. The Quality Inn and its namesake are always a great place to stay no matter where you are. We were even treated to a couple wildlife displays, on one night we watched a small family of Ferrell hogs feeding on the acorns under a couple oak trees. On the second night we were treated to a display by a half dozen deer feeding on the same acorns. How cool!

The rooms were clean, the staff was corteous and helpful. The location is good and it is not expensive for being a really nice place.

Stayed 3 nights while leaving son at SRU. Extended stay 4 more nights, due to mandatory evacuation in our coastal county, bec of hurricane Harvey. Very satisfied w friendly staff w great customer service! Clean room, good breakfast. Appreciated available laundry room. Quality Inn will be our first choice, on future trips, bec of great customer service and affordable price. Thank You!

Okay place. Cleaning crew is not very good. Breakfast was good but no forks one day. Front desk folks are very nice.

They have 3 bed rooms excellent place to travel with children and the staff is very attentive and friendly, they make you feel at home!

I am a grown man and literally have to use my whole body to open the bathroom door everytime, because the floor is raised and stops the door. It is also the tiniest thing in existence. The side door to the hotel doesn't open even with your key. Way overpriced for the extremely low end experience my family and I endured. I don't leave reviews for places hardly ever, so you could say I kind of felt I needed to with this place. Peace out, Quality Inn.

Pros: very friendly, courteous staff Very clean well stocked room Quiet Nice size pool Comfortable bed (I love the small pillows) Cons: refrigerator not very cold and no way to control temp No plastic liner for ice bin. Hot tub not hot (I know it's summer but some of us old folks need just a little more heat) No hotel or town attractions notebook in room (first Quality Inn that I've stayed at that didn't have one. ) OVERALL, I would stay here again and recommend to others.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Pool needed to be cleaned. It was full of leaves and dryer did not dry the clothes after three runs at $1.50 each try.

We stayed here for 3 nights. For graduation, all staff were nice friendly, breakfast was good, pool was awesome, price was great!

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. My one minor issue was that the air conditioner in my room was barely able to keep up with the heat. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would stay again on my next trip to Alpine.

My friend and I had car trouble and had to stay overnight unexpectedly in Alpine, TX. The price was reasonable, but, more importantly, the staff was superior. They were all so friendly and accommodating. I cannot express enough how tremendously fabulous the staff is at this location. Thank you all so very much for your genuine care for us. We are so grateful.

Hotel staff very nice. Beds and pillows comfy. Nice pool and hot tub… open 24/7. Perfect location for travels to national parks. Breakfast OK.

Stayed for work related reason. The rooms are in need of a major face lift. Felt like I stepped into a time portal to the late 80's early 90's. The bathroom was quite small. The breakfast was served fresh & hot every day.

My back & neck was stiff after each night of a two-night stay. Toilet often needed 2 or 3 flushes to actually flush. Air conditioner set at 60 was not cold enough. (I do like it cold at night, but most name hotels can keep me cool. ) Breakfast was comparatively not as good as most hotels I've stayed at. Didn't have much communication with staff except check in and out, but everyone seemed nice.

This is a higher priced town as far as accommodations are concerned. With that said I think this place was reasonably priced. The lobby was nicely done with a local flare. The people working there were very friendly and helpful and treated us like family!

There is no Quality inn in this location. The real quality inn is several blocks to the west.

Just didn't like it. On the way back through I stayed across the street at the Holiday Inn. It was more money but it is twice as nice as this place; and the pool was open and very nice.

Hotel was clean. Major customer service fail however was not being able to control temperature of room. First night room was warm, not unbearable, just no covers required. I prefer cooler room at night. I reported this issue in the morning and was told to turn ac down to 60. I requested maintenance look at it. Came back later in the day and ac was set on high at 60. Room was still too warm for covers. It was in the 20's at night. We slept with window open to cool room down and be comfortable. Another issue was that I had to reprogram keys every night. Booked for 4 nights over Thanksgiving holiday. Will not EVER stay there again or recommend simply because of temperature issue.

There once was a fire there and we are not going there again scares me.

These folks were the best. They knew the area and where we could go to see the Marfa Lights. It was clean and quiet. The breakfast was just great. Cindy, the cook, made your eggs, omelet, or pancakes to order. I will stay there if I'm ever in Alpine again.

We stayed here during spring break while visiting Big Bend and we really enjoyed our stay. The staff was wonderfully courteous, the room was very clean, the price wasn't bad and my daughter loved the omlette bar :) We don't travel much and a big reason is that we are afraid of what the accommodations will be like — there's no place like home! But we found it to be safe, clean and bearably quite. We would definitely like to stay there again.
