I've stayed at this hotel on more than one occasion and have had a good experience both times. The location is nice, the rooms are clean, and everything in the rooms have always been in working order. It's always on my list for when I pass through town and need a cheap place to stay.

The people that work here are extremely polite, and with most of town sold out, we actually was able to get a room for a reasonable price even with it being a 3 day weekend & with truck and trailer parking. That's a plus plus… My Mother in law just moved back here… So when we come to this side of the country again this will be our pick… Thank you Select Inn.

Cheap, you get what you pay for. It'll get the job done. If you're looking for high end fancy it's not for you. If you want comfortable until your back home it'll do.

Amazing place. Extremely clean and we'll taken care of. This was better than my own bed at home. The mattress and blankets were extremely soft.

This place is exactly what you hope it to be: cheap and clean. We pulled in late after a long day of driving, had a room booked by the efficient and friendly front desk staff in less than 5 minutes. 70 bucks got us a larger than expected room, comfy king sized bed and a much needed hot shower. Minor cosmetic damage to some of the bathroom fixtures didn't bother us one bit, as everything was in working order.

Staff is rude. Cockroaches in the room and lady at the front desk laughed at me when I reported it. Mattresses are badly broken. Bathtub/shower leaks. This is the worst ive ever stayed in and I travel alot so I've seen a lot of hotel rooms. This place isn't worth $40.00 a night and we were charged $70.00.

I was dumb and didn't read reviews! This place may be in a good spot and look nice from the outside but don't let that fool you! It badly needs to be updated! Our floor was very grimy/sticky! There was something on the wall that looked like blood, the bathroom stunk because of the plumbing, the bathroom sink would hardly drain, and one of the employees were rude! He knocked on our door on a Friday night before 10pm and told us to quite down because people checked out because of the noise! We were not loud at all. Just me and my husband normally talking to one another. Also when we told him about the carpet and the wall he just brushed it off like it was nothing! Avoid this place!

Select Inn is a great hotel to stay at with excellent customer service, and a great rate. There is also aa Mexica restaurant attached to it and their food is delicious! Our beds were clean and very comfortable, nice big flat screen tv, mini fridge, microwave, and nice updated furniture. The bathroom was nice and clean with good hot water, there was a safety box in the room for your valuables also. I slept so good! There is also a great complimentary breakfast to start your day! I would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to any one!

Update: the owner got in touch and apologized for the trouble. That's good enough I guess, at least he's making an effort. I have a 400$ invoice for my long stay and when I tried to get a plastic fork in the lobby I got yelled at. Guess that's not enough for a plastic fork, I'll find somewhere a little more reasonable for my next stay I think.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed at. It's more half housing units and half motel. Stains and residue on the walls, furniture, sheets. Your better off camping.

The place is nasty! Our room was filthy and all ran down! Our bathroom looked like it wasn't cleaned for months, there was nasty stuff in our shower, the toilet was not clean as there was pee all over our toilet seat. There was bugs in our bathroom. The chairs that was in our room was all stained up and holey. Totally disgusting. I will NEVER stay at another select inn ever. I would not recommend this one to anyone!

This place is disgusting. I had a dirty jacuzzi, I had 2 bugs under my rooms pillows and boogers on the bed spread. Absolutely unacceptable. The manager P. K. Is very rude and direspectful. He was not willing to give me a replacement room and only offered a discount… why would I pay for another room when I didnt get to use the one I had?

Great prices at there office better than price line hot wire etc Rooms were extremely clean memory foam mattresses on the beds I slept better than I have in a long time.

This is one of the rudest places with lousy costumer service Stopped to eat at the mexican restaurant (we drive a semi)
After eating we went to bed just to be woke up 4 hours later to be told move or pay this shithole hotel $30

It was a okay hotel for it's price nothing more nothing less… kinda dated but that's fine had a restaurant on the side of the hotel that's always a plus they gave a Discount… a lot of fast food Options around the hotel as well Pros: price, location (just right off the highway) Cons: dated, my key had a problem working took like 2 mins just to get in my room.

Wasn't an overnight guest at the motel. Staff was helpful. Wasn't overly dirty. About what you would expect for a motel in this price range.

Horrible housekeeping. Dirty. Front desk clerk only offered to give me another room. Not an upgrade or a discount offered after seeing pictures I took of the room I was given. Most likely will never stay here again.

Not a trucker friendly place They charge 30 dlls to park! They knock overnight to check the recipe! A proper sign will work better I think… The one star is for the excellent Mexican Restaurant next door.

Manager and workers very kind and professional, good breakfast, clean rooms and the room I was in had fantastic mattresses. For me that was the highlight of my stay as I have back and issues and do not sleep well on just any bed. Thank all of you at Select Inn for making my stay enjoyable.

Do not stay here! Worst hotel ever! So disgusting very rude service. Very noisy lots of scary looking criminal type people hanging around and I think it might be haunted.

Do not stay here. Read the reviews. Wish I would of. People hanging out in the parking lot all hours of the night and in the stairwells. Did not feel safe at all. Couldn't sleep left at 230 In the morning. Room was horrible, walls was nasty, room smelled like smoke. Beds where way to soft. Back hurt so bad that had to sit in the nasty stained chair at the desk. Not worth the 70 dollars we paid. Shower had hair in it. Just gross all the way around.

Place is showing it's age Staff was friendly and helpful After the wife spent an hour cleaning the restroom and coffee maker we settled in and it was quiet and comfortable.

People were very rude called me a liar and lied about the late checkout I will never stay here again if I could give them no stars I would.

The room is very nice. The staff was very nice. My only complaint is that the water in the shower wasn't hot enough. Other than that, this is a nice place to stay… very reasonable.

Pool is clean and refreshing. The rooms look clean and we'll kept. Just got here, but it's nice so far.

The room was clean and beds were comfortable but you could clearly see that the place was old. There was trace of leak in the bathroom ceiling and you could smell the leak odor. It is cheap and convenient for one or two night stay but I do not recommend it for a vacation. Breakfast includes cereals, muffins, coffee, juice, and some prepared waffles.

$30.00 for truck parking. That doesn't get you a room, shower, or anything except a parking spot. This was a reliable go-to for an 18 wheeler. Apparently, someone decided this should be a source of revenue and the easiest money anyone ever made.

I rated it a 3 because it gets the job done without the luxury. You have to be fixed it's good for just over night sleep but I would not stay here for a trip over weekend. I had his muscles like the bed a TV drawers acreage in a coffee maker. The Chowder debate simple.

It was a very nasty room. There was blood on the bathroom wall and a blood stain on one of the comforters. Room smelled. Everything was dirty. There was water damage in the bathroom and half the wall plugs didnt work. Definitely wont be staying at a Select Inn ever again. Was deplorable conditions for 85 dollars.

The beds are really comfortable. Showers are nice and warm as well.

Filthy rooms. The room needed to be vacuumed. There were visible stains on furnishings, walls and in bathroom. There was an oder in our room. The bathroom floor was sticky. I couldn't get out of there fast enough.

Customer service at this hotel is horrible! When we came to check in I asked how much a room with a hot tub is… the guy behind the counter said "if you have to ask you probably can't afford it". Excuse me?! Then, we got up to our room and it smelled like a wet dog! The 2nd shift guy was nice and genuinely apologized and switched our rooms. The new room smelled better, the bathroom floor was sticky and some of the outlets were hanging out of the wall! I have stayed at much cheaper hotels that were 5 times cleaner and more respectful than this place!

BED BUGS! The price was fair they quoted on our stay since we are working in the area. The breakfast is a joke and the room are very old bad need of a remodel. Well when I can deal with those things what I cannot deal with is bed bugs. Bugs that you will take home to your family to infest you home. I had a bed bug crawl out from my mattress and head straight for me while I was laying in bed. I alerted the desk and he moved me rooms and I had to at 2 am at this time get to my new room toss it because I'm freaked and toss all my bags and clothes and comb thru every item in my bags and didn't get done with that till almost 4am to have to be at work that morning at 7am. I talked to management that day to ask for some sort of reimbursement for the inconvenience I would have felt square with just 20 bucks. They told me since he gave me a new room all was square and insisted they were going to spray the room. I read that night that you have to heat treat and seal off the room and all rooms joining and told them that. I think they believe raid can fix anything. Needless to say we are moving hotels and they are losing our business for the next 2 months of me and 4 more people I have with me. I hope this post helps other in the area looking for clean bug free rooms. I can deal with old and run down for a good price but I don't do bugs to bring home to my family.

Great truck parking, but the rooms need some work. Found a very small spider hanging near my cell phone tonight in the room. Alarm clock didn't display numbers correctly, phone would make crazy sound when resting on cradle (had to unplug). Tub had a clogged drain. Lights in bathroom were coming out of the wall. Truck parking is awesome. But that's the only reason I come here. Plus the Mexican.

I really don't want to give this place ANY star rating. I stayed there, and I found bed bugs. I scooped it up in a cup and took it straight to the office then requested a refund. If I could post a pic with the review, I would. Upon checking in to the room, my girl went to use the bathroom. I told her make sure she wipes the seat before she sits. She came and showed me a nasty, dirty film that was left behind. And this is supposed to be a room that was cleaned. Housekeeping staff does a piss poor job if thats what they call cleaning. I WOULD NOT recommend ANYONE to stay at this place until they bomb that place and get it under code. The city/ county inspector should be notified immediately of this place.

$80 for this? Rooms feel dirty, water stains in ceilings, no apple juice in machine, hot orange juice out of machine, no toast, pay $80 for old cereal and hard pastries for breakfast. Paint coming off wall in bathroom cause of water leaks. Shower head was disgusting. I'd rather sleep in my truck and bathe at a truckstop than come back here again. Avoid this place.

I had stayed at the select inn for 5 days. I found it to be very competitive with much larger chain hotels. The rooms were clean and spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I will definitely go back when in the area again.

I wanted to give this place more than 3 stars. I really did. I even held back my original review in hopes of averaging it with my current review. Select Inn is a former Howard Johnson's. Despite being an older establishment, the common areas are reasonably upkept. Breakfast is the normal fare. Staff is friendly enough. So where is the negatives? Some rooms are under renovation. Both visits, I seem to have been assigned an "old" room. Misplaced ceiling tiles, unplugged smoke detectors, missing door frame molding, mold in the shower tile grout, burn holes in the bed comforter, stains in the carpet, noisy and unusual foot traffic to the adjacent room, and numerous rodents, just added up to enough that I cannot recommend Select Inn until these issues are addressed. Btw. They do not accept ComChek. You will have to cash checks at the Pilot across the street.

Not a bad motel for the price. It's an older place, but has all the amenities and things you don't expect like hair dryer, microwave and fridge.

Good Budget/Economy/ Clean Hotel with affordable price. Cannot expect amenities/services like top class hotels. It is nice to have fridge/microwave/Wi-Fi at no charge. Free continental bfst. I enjoyed eating at the Mexican restaurant. Easy access to hotel from I 24 and close to MTSU I continue staying here.
