We have stayed at this location over a dozen times. Our daughter has a lot of medical problems and requires a trip to Children’s at Vanderbilt several times a year. Our Vanderbilt trips are always stressful and overwhelming but Mainstay makes it enjoyable for our little family. Our daughter looks forward to our trips and it takes her mind off of the stress and fear she experiences at the hospital. The staff is so AMAZING! There is one particular precious empolyee that is always there during breakfast, stocking the food and making sure everything is perfect for the guests. She is our Angel! She makes our little girl hot chocolate every morning and knows her by name. (And it is the BEST hot chocolate I have ever had) She is a true act of love, compassion, and kindness. I wish I could remember her name but I’m sure if you stop in she will touch your life. Besides the nice and spacious rooms, great food, and staff… Mainstay is a great location with everything you will need around you and a hop, skip, and a jump from Vanderbilt.

Very friendly staff and helpful, booked well in advance from UK based on review's giving us a good rate. Not disappointing. Clean and tidy all amenities you would require. Pool area having last minute upgrade. But have given us free access to another around the corner. Thank you.

Read carefully; the main detail is “extended stay” (not on their internet ad), which means few housekeeping services, including being told I needed to come to the front desk and borrow a plunger to unstop my toilet. I’m 75, limited mobility issues, plunger was a Cheap knockoff, & it took my wife & I both to do the job. This should not be a choice hotel. ps. At least 50% of online reviews are “anonymous” and they are all similar and very positive. Makes you wonder.

Was only there for 2 nights to sleep, but the room was clean and spacious. The internet was very good, hardly any problems. The front desk staff was nice and helpful when we needed something. Didn't have a pet with us but noticed that the hotel was pet friendly as well.

Room was very clean and staff was friendly. The breakfast food was really good. I'd definitely stay here again!

I really enjoyed this hotel. The price was amazing for starters. The staff was extremely friendly. The room was clean and spacious. The bed was soft since it was a temperpedic. I melted into it which I like. However if someone is accustomed to a firm mattress this would be a draw back. My one and only complaint is that there is no mattress protector on the matress. I have a bed bug phobia so I really did not like that. Please add mattress protectors.

Easy access off interstate. Beautiful hotel. Very large rooms. Feel like your in a condo. Great staff. Breakfast was amazing. We travel here to go to Vanderbuilt slot. This Will be out hotel when were here.

Check-in was a breeze, we had a one bedroom suite. It was clean, spotless, with lots of accommodations. The breakfast was splendid. The staff is warm and friendly. Point made that I will frequent Mainstay more often. Seeing as though I live in Nashville. I needed a getaway spot from NYE traffic. Perfect choice for me…

They have a good small breakfast from 6am to 9:30 am. I enjoy that. Rooms have a kitchen. You can buy some snacks near the check-in counter. Small items such as lotion may have to be asked for since they only have shampoo and soap in the bathroom. It is a decent place to stay. Staff is friendly.

Family stayed 5 days starting Christmas day. Great rooms. Large with 2 double beds. Good fitness room. Too cold to use the outside pool but it looked nice. Good breakfast choice. You make your beds and bring towels to laundry for replacement. Very good rates. Made reservation in person.

Great visit at Mainstay Suites. Good lighting in room, lots of plugs for machines and phones. Nice, nice staff. You'll be glad you stayed.

Saw a bug in the Refrigerator unpon arrival. Carpet was dirty and Hotel itself smelled unclean. Found a hair in the wash cloth that was supplied to wash off makeup. There were few things that we liked. It was close to everything, in a quiet area and the bed felt great.

We found two cockroach’s in our bathroom, and the people next to us smoked all night and we could smell it in our room heavily. This is supposed to be a 100% smoke free hotel. I went out in the hallway and the room next to ours, didn’t have a no smoking sign on it like all of the others! The carpet in the room was stained and looked gross. Our room was in a spot that either had a long walk to the elevator or we had to walk up 3 flights of stairs every time. Also, the first night there, the toilet wasn’t flushing so we needed a plunger. This is our fourth time in Brentwood, and this is the worst hotel we’ve stayed in. Overall, the room felt dirty to us.

Friendly staff. There is one workers vehicle I recognize from staying here over the last 15 years. Feels like they are in an up swing. :-)

Friendly staff, clean hotel with kitchenettes, on site self laundry. Really good for long term stays. Free breakfast has really good selection and we'll stocked. Did I mention friendly staff? Definitely no frills, restocking room items are self serve, attempt to update not done well (poorly repainted cabinets in rooms) and landscaping could use some attention. No room service, but walking distance to grocery store, several restaurant options nearby, with plenty of delivery options.

Nice clean rooms and great service convenient to the highway and stores.

Sad to say what should have been a memory making trip before my medical appointment at Vanderbilt on our last day. I'm grateful my family are good sports and quite forgiving. Maybe Mainstay Suites will make it right with us at some point.

Our stay was excellent! The suite was spacious with full kitchen! My daughter opted to pull out the sofa to sleep on it and found it just as comfortable as the bed. I will add Mainstay Suites to my collection of choices for CHOICE Hotels! I'm NEVER disappointed with CHOICE!

1. After our second night, we were told that due to night construction, we could be upgraded to a different room. We agreed, and were moved. However, the staff forgot to note that in their records, and rented our new room to someone else. At 12:30 AM, someone with a working room card attempted to enter our room, thinking it was theirs. If we hadn't had the manual lock in place, they would've come right in. A few minutes later, someone from the desk called, asking who we were and why we were in that room. The next morning, while we were still asleep, the desk called and AGAIN asked who we were and why we were there. They said that we'd have to move again. We straightened it out. While the desk staff was always very pleasant and fulfilled simple tasks efficiently, they seemed out of their depth in this episode. 2. We were moved into a two-room suite, with the A/C unit in one room, and a fan in the wall separating the two rooms – the only way for cool air to get into the second room. The fan did not work. While the desk staff supplied us with a portable fan, the built-in fan needs to be repaired or replaced. 3. The room walls are very thin, and we frequently heard very noisy guests throughout the night. It sounded like the people above us were repeatedly dropping dumbbells on the floor. Kids were running up and down the hall, yelling. We had narrowed our hotel search to two options – this one and a somewhat more-expensive hotel. We opted for economy.

The hotel is starting to look run down even though there are obvious signs that they have tried to make the place look updated. The employees were nice and helpful. The breakfast bar is pretty good.

Pretty comfortable, and very reasonably priced for this style/quality hotel. Inside rooms, kitchenettes, and a decent breakfast. Will book again.

Stayed for one night and could have stayed longer. The room was clean and cozy. The staff was very friendly.

We check out this morning… we have been in the hotel for 4 days so far. My husband and I wondered why we had little bits all over ourselves. Come to find out its Bed Bugs… I went and asked them to change the sheets on the bed two days on the second and then also on the third day and guess what. THEY DID NOT they refused. I was asking a African American lady with Draids by the name of Kim Young, I just found out what her name is… she smiled in my face the hold time. Which pissed me off even more. She Kim Young the African American gave me a list of their roles which states they offer a Light Touch Service, on the 3rd day of stay… They don't change the sheets until the seventh day… but who can stay seven days with these bed bugs… The continental Breakfast was okay but nothing to brag about … My husband went to the front desk to complain… and they gave us a new room… we moved from room 108 to room 209… I showed the young lady Kim Pitikin all the little bits I have all over my arms and on my face. She said she was so sorry and they would make sure management knew about what we was going through. The young lady Kim Pritikin called us once in room 209 and asked us was we sure it wasn't fleas… What? So know what your telling me is y'all put us in a room with fleas. On the first day I thought it would be awesome. With the refrigerator, stove, microwave and dishwasher but none of that matters when you get ate the hold stay by bed bugs.

Bedbugs! Woke up in the middle of the night, and thank god I did. There were bedbugs crawling on the sheets! I checked out the next day. Was told the manager would contact me, but I never heard back from anyone. Consider yourself warned!

Excellent service from the front desk thru the entire stay! My daughter and I were traveling alone and stopped here at 1 am and I must say I have never felt this safe and comfortable in a hotel as I did at this one. Everything was great. It is a little off the highway but well worth it! My receipt says I was checked in by "mburto" and all I can say is thank you for your service because it was your performance that put me at ease and made me feel safe in this hotel…
