Checked in was fine and friendly. I had another crew come the following day (after driving 9 hrs) and couldn’t get in room due to door closure broken off of door and hanging by the metal door frame. I requested another room to no avail but management requested my crew stay in a room that’s half apart. Will be here in this town for 3 weeks working but will check out 1st thing in the morning! Good bye Rodeway INN.

I can see the point of view left by others who gave a 1-3 star rating. Yes the outside doesn't look very welcoming. Yes even after coming back to the motel numerous times, I almost missed the turn due to poor visibility of the sign and being wedged in back of car lots. However my stay was acceptable. I slept well with no noise. Sheets looked and smelled fine. Bathroom fine. Rest of room fine. Front desk folks mellow but helpful. Only 4 star since the price is indeed too high for a location like this.

My boyfriend and I have stayed quite a bit at Rodeway Inn, and we always have a great experience. The staff is great, especially the manager, Jennifer. Jennifer is very customer oriented and helpful. I first learned of the Choice Privileges program through her. She explained what it was and how it could benefit me. We will continue to stay at Rodeway Inn when we are in need of a hotel room. We also like the fact that breakfast is served. Not only are the hot items delicious, we like that there is a variety to choose from.

Considering the hotel was under renovation, it wasn't a bad experience. Some rust loacted on the shower head, poor positioning of the curtains to block light out at night, everything looked rundown or super old as if the hotel was just back up and running again. Customer Service wasn't bad. The pool was 8 ft which is perfect and more pools need to be deeper to enjoy a swim.

Check in was a breeze. Rooms were nice and clean. The beds were comfortable. My family and I enjoyed the outdoor pool. Breakfast was decent. Very good value. I was impressed. I would recommend this hotel and I will would definitely come back.

If I could give a negative star I would. The room was neat but obviously nasty. The bathtub was YELLOW from filth. The plate round the faucet was loose and you could see black gunk in the seams. The halls were dark. Even though it was a hotel, the exterior doors did not require a key card to enter the building. VERY nasty and noisy. The view outside the room window was over 30 or more terrible looking mattresses that I can only imagine what might be living and growing on. See PICs.

Stay away. Use only as a last resort. The place is dirty. The elevator is ricketty. I was shown two rooms. There was a bad odor in the first room, the curtain didn't close all the way and two of the lights didn't work, including the main one with the switch at the door. The dead bolt and the door handle lock both didn't full engage in the second room. I cancelled my reservation and slept in my vehicle.

The front desk was courteous. That is the only good part of this stayand the star rating. Our first room had a terrible smell and mold on the bathroom wall. Our second one that we we were moved to, the air conditioner barely worked. Someone was smoking recreational drugs on our floor. Children were running and screaming knocking on peoples doors. Worst stay I have ever experienced. I do not recommend staying here especially if you have small children.

This was not a good stay. Dirty hotel sheets not washed everything including the elevators nasty! Side door never locks so anybody can just walk in. Halls stink of cigarettes and weed. Lightning in rooms poorly lit. I’m rating 2 stars only because of the breakfast attendant who was very professional and caring. The breakfast was ok. The fire alarm sounded in the middle of the night which I was told don’t worry about it. The room telephone doesn’t work carpets dirt just a horrible stay. I booked on Priceline for the first and last time never again!

Pillows perfectly engineered to the wrong thickness — too thick for sleeping on my back, but too thin for sleeping on my side, and 2 were too thick for sleeping on my side. The shower stopper wouldn't stay open. At least the room was clean. Overall, the experience was like a $35 / night hotel while costing $60.

Very accommodating and great service. The manager Jennifer is the best. Any problem we've ever had, she made sure it was taken care of right away. I would definitely recommend this place because of the staff.

It's definitely not the worst place I've stayed. The bed was atrocious though. I think the mattress was broken in some way, because the middle sunk way down and you literally had to crawl over the very firm sides that stuck up. It was almost impossible to get comfortable and sleep on it. The ac in the room worked amazingly well. The room was clean, albeit very old and musty. I was slightly concerned with the what appeared to be mold on the ceiling above the bed and in the shower, but convinced myself it wouldn't be an issue for one night. The major pitfall of the room is that the rooms all have adjoining doors. I thought hotels had done away with those! Apparently not. So we could hear all of the noisy people on the other side, and smell the smoke of their room (even tho ours was a non smoking room). The toilet wasn't well installed, it wobbled front to back when sat on. Water pressure was good in the shower, but the tub didn't drain well so you end up standing in a few inches of water during your shower. Breakfast was decent, tho it would have been really lovely to have some fresh fruit included. The lady who runs the breakfast bar sat out at a table in the room with us, and conducted lots of very loud personal phone calls which was very disruptive to our simple breakfast. All told, if you need to stop while road tripping this place isn't that bad for a stop over (provided you could find it cheap… I wouldn't pay more than the 70 including tax that we paid for it).

Good hotel at a low price. The staff was friendly and checkin was quick. Corridors did smell of smoke, but isn't it usual?

Be careful, here. I gave the place 2 stars because, despite the dark, dingy hallways, the rooms are actually nice looking and seem to be recently renovated. After being in the room for a while, though, I began to notice that the housekeeping was seriously lacking as there was hair all over the bathroom floor. The following morning, I went to grab some tissue out of the built in holder in the bathroom counter. When the tissue box jiggled, a HYPODERMIC NEEDLE fell out from behind the box, landing about 6 inches from my bare foot! $59 and, in this case, you get what you payed for. Again, be careful, here.

My bank card was charged twice for an amount and they could not tell me why. It was not the card that paid for the room. Also, when I called to speak to a manager each time I was told that the manager wasn't available yet, one clerk said she would be in at 11:00. When I called at 12, they told me she wasn't available again and I could leave a voice mail. She finally got on the phone when I told the them problem I had. HHHMMMMM… can't get to the phone, but all of a sudden like magic she takes my call. Pretty shady if you ask me.

Beds were comfy and the room was clean. It was a safe, quiet place to stay after a downtown event. The breakfast was good. The price was less than we would have expected for a major-event weekend. We would stay there again.

You get what you pay for! Ice machines don't work. Verified reservation. … they had us as no call no show. The lady that answered had a seriously bad attitude! They had our dates wrong. They gave us a room alright. At the very end of the bldg next to a noisy laundry room. Husband is handicapped, we asked for a room closest to the entrance… you see where we ended up. We will never stay here. We will pay a more for quality!

Tacking a shower, drain backs up and the stopper will close with at you knowing it. The beds were old. They caved in where you always rolled to the center of the bed. The light when first walk in room buzzes. One of the beds, the end was higher then where you lay your head on. The gentlemen at the desk was rude when we check in. The lady at the desk when we check out was on a personal phone call telling some one she loves them. All in all was not to happy.

I really wish some booking sites would stop with these blind deals. Had I knew I would be staying at a rodeway inn I would have canceled my whole trip. Needless to say I should have known better from previous bookings with this place. I decided to give this location the benefit of doubt since the same place use to be a comfort inn. Terrible mistake, the inside was full with questionable characters. The elevators are not safe what so ever the first one doors get stuck and jam every time. The second one is missing floor tiles and has a hole that is cover by a floor mat. The room is decent, no working ice machine even though the sign on the third floor tells you to go to the second floor. If your a single person looking for cheap night rest this is the place for you. For those of you traveling with a family I strongly encourage you to reconsider. Choice hotels should also reconsider cooperation with this brand. At least this location had a microwave and mini fridge.

Only hotel in Greenville that still has A smoking floor. Rooms have fridges and microwaves. Comfortable beds, I slept like a log. They offer late check-out for choice members like most choice hotels. The hold on my card was more than I was supposed to be charged for the room but that may change when the hold is over. Overall great experience.

Staff was unprofessional. I had piss around toilet, a dirty pillowcase, food was lodged in my chair, the toilet and sink fixtures were loose and moving and when I asked the guy at the front desk to get someone to come clean it he said that housekeeping was gone for the day. He was supposed to send maintenance but here it is 4AM and no one has knocked on my door yet. I already used my debit card so a refund would've took 3 to 4 days and I can't pay for another room. I do Choice Hotels but this one should be revoked from the franchise. Mr. Patel should be ashamed to have his name on the managers sign.

This hotel needs SERIOUS renovations done! ON the flip side we only stayed 1 night. The sheets were soft and clean. And the pillow were fluffy.

Needs updating! I've been to events at this building when it was managed by other hotel chains. As it aged, it seems that no one wants to update it; they just sell it. Put some money in it and there will be a better return on investment.

I have mixed interactions with the staff, but it's mostly been good and sometimes great. The hotel is utterly terrible. This is that place you think to yourself "oh they must kill hookers and do drugs there. " It's really cheap and they're allegedly about to undertake renovations.

Do not stay here, it is the worst hotel I have ever been to. The staff was not helpful and the rooms that I asked for were supposed to be NON-SMOKING rooms and they were not. Those rooms reeked of smoke. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

It is a shame that a company as big as Choice Hotels, would spin there recent ad campaign that allowed you to qualify for a free night, if you had 2 qualified stays in one of their properties. MAKE sure first that you follow all the rules exactly before you begin. I followed the rules. I had several qualified stays over 15 nights while traveling. The bigger problem turned out that If you choose to stay in rooms that cost around 90 dollars a night, they only allow you to get the free night as a much less quality of 50 to 65.00 per night property. That’s just not right, and it is false advertising. Shame on you Choice Hotels. Now for the rest of my review on this property. Internet was awful and kept disconnecting. Could not keep a signal on laptop and our telephone would not connect but on occasion. Not a good place to stay if you work online. This neighborhood would probably be ok, but it appeared to have a lot of questionable people on the property at all hours of the night making lots of noise and partying. They even would stand outside our door cursing in a loud manner at 2 or 3 in the morning. Walls are paper thin, so you hear everything in the rooms next to you. We noticed that an employee or family member was kinda camped out both days in the lobby in pajamas and no shoes, and also was seen going into the kitchen shoeless. The property was very very dated. We were very afraid that our car would be broken into over night.

Its adorable. Stuff is efficient and very courteous to your needs. Wish it had an indoor pool or at least a hot tub n Sauna. Many disabled over 55 could use this type of facility. Crowded with Ins n Outs. Bedding is very comfortable. Change bedspread plz.

Clerk at check in desk was very rude and unprofessional and acted bothered when helping me and the guests before me. Otherwise the room was great an the stay was pleasant. If it wasn't so late would have chosen a different place to stay due to his attitude an unprofessionalism.

Wonder why the price says $53.00 and during the hurricane we were charged over 100.00 plus 25.00 for our dog. Could it be that they raised the price because of the situation. I would not consider this hotel safe since there were a lot of people hanging around on the outside and going in and out of rooms and having parties. The room was not clean and the outlets had no covers on them and the carpet was all torn and many burn holes all over the place. I would think twice staying in any other choice hotels.

First I'll say the front desk agent were very kind, empathetic, & genuine. We evacuated from FL during Irma, our hotel options were sparse & we had my 9lb dog with us. Our room had a 2" rip in the carpet, a purple fresh patched hole in the wall, and we had several dead & alive cockroaches in our room. Total nightmare.

Friendly Staff, the facilities are pretty dated and rough but the bed was comfortable. Solid crash pad, wouldn't want to stay for a week though. Price was good too.

This place is extroadinary for the price. A 3.5 star hotel with a 1 stars price. The cleaning lady was even nice and didn't bug us when my dad and I over slept past check out time. Wonderful pool. Comfortable clean beds.

I truly do not know where to even start with this hotel. Upon arrival there were very sketchy individuals hanging around in the parking lot, and rap music playing in the lobby. Didn't think it was a big deal until we stepped into the elevator, which opened while the elevator was still in motion and was littered with cigarette butts on the ground. Once we got to our room, at first glance it looked well kept, besides the fact that the door wouldn't close properly, and the whole hallway / room smelled of cigarettes. Our neighbors across the hall had a lot of activity coming in and out of their room, which I thought was very sketchy. One of our trash cans still had trash from previous guests and the sheets had burn holes in them. Not to mention, this hotel charged me with SMOKING in a NON — smoking room, which already smelled of cigarettes when I got inside. My boyfriend is ACTIVE military and I am pregnant… When we called the hotel to dispute the situation, they refused to refund my $150 back into my account. Seems like they were needing it for the much needed renovations. We are in the process of taking the hotel staff to court for this situation. All in all this hotel needs to be shut down. I am extremely disappointed with my stay here. You're better off at a rest stop.

The location is probably the only issue, the entrance is very easy to miss, and the only entrance I could find. I did not stay in the rooms, our party rented the conference room. It was well lit and very spacious. I have no complaints about the hotel itself.

There were no bugs! The people were nice, but the place was in real need up an update! Tiny cracks in the walls and ceiling, scary elevator, Public restrooms in the lobby that you could smell from 20 paces, to name a few of the things that needed to be updated. The Bed was clean and comfy but the office chair looked like it had been through a war. Not a terrible stay, but I will look for another hotel next time.

It was very clean, and the event was set up according to request on time. No complaints.

Pretty standard hotel. It's not clean nor is it exceptionally dirty. The problems are few but considerable enough to knock it down from 3 stars. I've been there for 3 days and the Wi-Fi hasn't worked once. The toilet leaks and is constantly refilling. The sound on the TV is terrible. When I first turned it on it was making a weird washed out sound. The last guest had cranked the volume to max which was causing the issue. But the TV is too quiet on anything lower than 60. Other than that it's a pretty standard Comfort Inn, complete with drunken construction workers to make you feel less comfortable.

The service was good the desk staff was nice at check-in and happy at breakfast. The breakfast was underwhelming at best. The bathrooms were cracked and rusty. The bed was serviceable.

The place is clean. People don t bother you. THERE IS NO HANG OUT FOR riff raffs the beds are super comfortable. 4th floor.

I had two rooms on the first floor they were old and outdated the hotel was nice in the lobby and breakfast areas. In room 103 bedbugs bite my guess on two different nights and pictures were taken and the manager was informed. It was an insult that the manager resolved the problem with the reimbursement of $20

2 young employees were extremely helpful and friendly. We dealt with Brandi on several occasions during our stay. She went above and beyond on helping us with what we needed. Britney was also very helpful. These two young ladies did a great job during our stay.

Nice hotel. People here are friendly. ROOMS are clean and breakfast it's more than coffee and donuts.

What an awesome place to stay. We have stayed in hotels in the US, Europe, Asia, and Africa but this is the cleanest, most comfortable and friendliest staff of them all. Ideal location, convenient to shops, restaurants, parks and even the xoo. Although there is an interstate highway within 50 yards of the hotel, it is very quiet. A good hotel for families with the pool, grills, walking/playing/sitting areas, Appears to be safe night and day as we have walked our little Maltese outside night and day.

The lady preparing the breakfast was great, and she was very pleasant even when she was overwhelmed. My family went to the pool, and my wife enjoyed the room and visit. You guys did a good job, thank you.

I really enjoyed my stay. I love staying at comfort inn especially because they allow me to have my pet. Much of the time I am travelling alone except for my dog for protection. Many hotels do not allow pets. I am so pleased that you all do. I tell all my friends. Thank you.

This hotel is a very clean, quiet and safe place for everyone. Pool is cleaned each day and there are grills/ Walking/sitting/playing areas around the pool. Most comfortable bed I have ever had in a hotel. Easy access to I-85. Also, staff is very friendly, and will do anything to make your stay the best.

Overall it was a nice hotel and the girl who checked us in was very sweet and helpful in fact when we asked if she had any discount cards to any restaurants in the area she said no, but she gave us her own coupons. Very thoughtful of her.
