It is a shame that a company as big as Choice Hotels, would spin there recent ad campaign that allowed you to qualify for a free night, if you had 2 qualified stays in one of their properties. MAKE sure first that you follow all the rules exactly before you begin. I followed the rules. I had several qualified stays over 15 nights while traveling. The bigger problem turned out that If you choose to stay in rooms that cost around 90 dollars a night, they only allow you to get the free night as a much less quality of 50 to 65.00 per night property. That’s just not right, and it is false advertising. Shame on you Choice Hotels. Now for the rest of my review on this property. Internet was awful and kept disconnecting. Could not keep a signal on laptop and our telephone would not connect but on occasion. Not a good place to stay if you work online. This neighborhood would probably be ok, but it appeared to have a lot of questionable people on the property at all hours of the night making lots of noise and partying. They even would stand outside our door cursing in a loud manner at 2 or 3 in the morning. Walls are paper thin, so you hear everything in the rooms next to you. We noticed that an employee or family member was kinda camped out both days in the lobby in pajamas and no shoes, and also was seen going into the kitchen shoeless. The property was very very dated. We were very afraid that our car would be broken into over night. The toilet was not mounted to the floor properly. Room very dark even with all light on. This is probably one of the properties that has an absentee owner, that cuts corners to the max and is not really concerned about his customers. Choice Hotels should be ashamed of having this one with their brand on it. We stayed here a year ago under a different brand and were pleased. That is the only reason we came back. But never again! Businesses have to realize that reviews here and on Google can have an impact in the future, so do the right thing.
