Solid spot… but Adam (the bartender) saved my marriage. He developed an intricate set of flavours that inspired my wife to stop beating me and see the future instead. He’s incredible.

We loved this place! We stayed there during our trip down to Florida. Long ride from Massachusetts and the stop in Charleston was definitely worth it! Specially after a long drive and you are welcomed by friendly employees. Also, it was so well located that we even had some time to look around Charleston. The breakfast was definitely taste. Thank you Homewood Charleston employees bc of you guys we definitely will stay there again on our next road trip and this is the reason we are a Hilton brand fans!

I visit here at least twice a month for appointments at MUSC. The staff here is great and very helpful. I wholeheartedly recommend that you stay here while in Charleston.

The weeknight social food and drinks, the rotating breakfast food and the large suites made our week long stay very enjoyable. Beautiful decor.

We loved our stay at Homewood Suites! Excellent, professional, and welcoming staff, specifically Victoria at front desk! Victoria made us feel like family.
So appreciated the bountiful and delicious daily breakfast. And evening socials were the best way to end the day.
Our suite was very comfortable and spacious! Nice to have kitchen for microwave and full refrigerator in our suite to store/ heat leftovers from the many terrific local restaurants.
We are going to miss Homewood Suites! Sorry to leave.

Amazingly spacious clean suites; staff was able to accommodate request for 2 adjoining suites by juggling a few rooms around. Staff is courteous, friendly and extremely obliging with any request. Won’t stay anywhere else in Charleston after 2 nights here.

I really enjoyed my stay. Room was always clean and had everything I needed for relaxing. I really wanted to say how wonderful the breakfast buffet staff is. Faith and a older woman with glasses went above and beyond. Only drawback was the thin walls. We had a hard time sleeping.

Beautiful, brand new hotel property in Charleston. In the heart of the newly revitalized King Avenue district, away from the touristy Market area. The hotel feels more sophisticated, and the rooms are very nicely appointed. I stayed in a standard suite, and it had a full kitchen (including a two burner stove top, dishwasher and full fridge/freezer), a desk, a seating area and two queen beds, and of course, a very nice bathroom. The suite would literally be a nice sized studio apartment in any big city. The pool is also very nice, sort of in a patio area, with fountains. Very refreshing after a day of sightseeing or work in town. The lobby features a bar, which is also stylishly appointed. In the morning, the included breakfast is quite nice, with actual china and metal cutlery, instead of the paper and plastic that hotels usually use for the included breakfast. Was there on a Friday, so didn't get to partake in the Happy Hour, which only happens M — Th, but I'm sure it's nice, judging by the rest of our stay. One caveat… right now, the area around the hotel is still being developed, so at night, it felt a bit dicey walking back from King Street. Very dark, with various people lounging in doorways and on the street. I just walked down the middle of the street, and I was fine, but I was definitely on high alert walking those few blocks. My guess is that within a year, the rest of the area around it will be developed, and this won't be an issue.

I had a two day stay at the Homewood Suites Charleston, SC this past weekend. Our stay was pleasant and we will return. The room was large and clean. The hotel had the appearance of being new. The staff from the valet and housekeeping were very helpful. Special notice was the front person Lauren Ewing. She ensured that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. She provided information about dining and shopping in the area and even brought a gift bag to our room. The only regret I have is that the stay was too short.

Our client Kurt Green is a touring entertainer who was very excited when they saw this hotel on their itinerary. The room was very nice, clean, and quiet, and the front desk staff was very friendly at check-in! There was plenty of parking, and a convenience store in the lobby which was great for grabbing snacks before turning in for the night. There was a free breakfast in the morning, as well as a coin-op laundry room which really made the morning productive!

My daughter and I were in town DJ'ing a family reunion and needed a room for two nights. We couldn't have asked for a better place than The Homewood Suites by Hilton in Charleston, South Carolina. Lauren Ewing, the front desk supervisor met us and really made us feel welcome. She explained everything in a professional manner and we enjoyed her company until we went sight-seeing at 11pm. The room was spacious and we had a great view of the downtown area. The Wi-Fi in the room was so strong that my daughter and I didn't turn on the television for the two days that we were there. That is a first for either of us. The room and the halls were very clean as if it were a new hotel. The breakfast was a good unexpected surprise. They had waffles, sausage, biscuits and gravy and all the fare that comes with a high class hotel. They had a gym and pool on the floor that we stayed on and we took advantage of that. All in all I can say this was one of the nicest stays that we have had this summer. We will gladly stay again.

Rooms are spacious and very clean. Staff was polite and very quickly corrected a mistake on the bill. Amenities in the room were great; a full size refrigerator, cook top, dishwasher and microwave. I didn't like the fact that parking cost extra and the breakfast left a lot to be desired. We ate breakfast the first two days then decided it wasn't worth the trip to the lobby. I checked two competitors within a mile, one had free parking and the other was 2/3 of the price. If you rent a room parking should be included. I felt like the room was reasonable but I got railroaded on the parking. That's like buying a movie ticket and paying extra for the seat.

Nice, clean, modern, and centrally located. As a full-time professional photographer, I photograph a lot of weddings. Often the day begins with me meeting up with the bridal party at their hotel to shoot "getting ready" photos. This weekend, I photographed the couple's preparation stages at the Homewood Suites. The rooms were spacious and nicely furnished. We used the bar area downstairs with all that beautiful window-light for a lot of photos before heading off to the church.

Located close to a lot of Charleston highlights. My mom and I stayed here on a trip to Charleston and we both completely fell in love with this place. The man at the reception desk is incredibly nice and both of the people working the reception desk were very helpful. On top of the excellent service, the room we stayed in was really nice, clean and quiet. In the event that I return to Charleston I will definitely book this hotel again. 10/10 would recommend; I would give this hotel over 5 stars if I could.

This was one of the nicest stays that I have ever had in a hotel. The rooms are plush, real hot breakfast, nice pool and workout room. Also, you can catch the shuttle 211 to the city market from nearby. Vincent, Ashley, Miss Fran, and the entire staff made us feel welcome and took care of us. This hotel is less than a 2 minute walk to King Street. There is a liquor store and a gas station across the street from the hotel as well.
