Church Street Inn is our first choice hotel when we come to Charleston. Very spacious, clean and great location. I highly recommend the Church Street Inn!

Friendly staff, old Charleston Historic vibe, great views and location.

This is a wonderful boutique hotel with a great location and large well appointed room. There are stairs to the bedroom so if you have mobility issues you will have to sleep on the sleeper sofa. The first floor had a kitchen, half bath and living room with sleeper sofa small dinette table, TV and large window. Upstairs has full bath, large walkin closet, 2 beds, dresser, TV and large balcony with a view of the Market. I am so impressed with the decor and comfort in this room and am already planning a return trip. The common areas are well maintained and beautiful with a quiet and spacious outside courtyard. All of the staff are friendly and very helpful. We arrived early for check-in and were able to leave our laugage with the front desk and went to lunch while the staff finished getting the room ready and the concierge sent a text when our room was ready.

This was an excellent place to stay, the rooms were super clean with everything you could possibly need. The staff was amazing, especially Tye, he went above and beyond to make our stay special, great sense of humor even if he likes hall and oats.

This is a beautiful hotel nestled in the center of Charleston South Carolinas historic French Quarter. It overlooks the famous Market Street shops. It's very modern and up-to-date but fits well in the French Quarter styling. The rooms are immaculate and Tastefully decorated and the staff is great! I highly recommend it.

Very friendly, accommodating staff. Great central location to restaurants, shopping. The interior needs a lot of updating, however. The “condos” are spacious and clean, but are very dated (think 90s decor) and very worn. Torn carpet, holes in drywall. If they make updates, it could be top notch!

Great location and very large room for the price; just needs updating inside. It was not dirty necessary but is very "used" unless you need absolute new and super clean would definitely stay here again.

Really convenient being in downtown. Parking garage is only one block over. I'd recommend just asking for the parking pass and park yourself. Valet is available but not available after 8. Staff is friendly especially the valet guy. Room was nice and spacious. Only think to keep in mind is they do not have a pool.

This room made us feel like we were in Charleston. The location is in the heart of everything, right next to the markets. Our kids had a great time upstairs while we relaxed in the comfortable king sized bed downstairs, which overlooked a lovely courtyard with tables. Our room had a full kitchen, but we didn't really use it. The only negative comment I have is that they have DISH network and the signal was constantly dropping.

The rooms are great! Perfect amount of space for the 4 of us on our girl's trip! Also love the location.

Nice hotel in the. Midle of the french quarter!

From service was not as expected. I was asked a time for them to come and clean. A time was given of 10 a. M. So we left for the day so the service could be uninterrupted. Upon our returning return ay 2pm the room was still not done. After 45 minuets or better to get hold of anyone at the front desk service was finally here at 2:45 low and behold it was the same lady who I had scheduled with at 10am. Then I get a lame excuse on why it wasn’t done. It’s fine that you forgot just be honest and say so. Don’t make a story up on why you forgot. It’s called attention to detail and being responsible at your job. Communication is key and there was none here today. Would hate for this to be common practice.

The location of the Church inn is quite nice because it is right beside the market and it's centrally located to most things. We were able to walk to most of the restaurants we went to. Parking is $18 a night whether you do valet or park it yourself. Rooms were clean and nice. Bed wasn't the most comfortable but it was ok. I wouldn't mind staying there again at all.

We have greatly enjoyed our stay at Church Street Inn. The staff have been very helpful with dinner recommendations, sights to see in the area, and making reservations for a tour. They even helped with printing and faxing when an unexpected family issue came up. Everyone was friendly. The location is very convenient to the market, historic sites, and the water. We loved it.

Location and room layout are great for the rate. The staff is very courteous and friendly. My only critique is the extremely slow drain of the shower (think ankle high water at the end of a 5 min shower) and the condition of the downstairs floor in the room. It had obvious water damage. Only the drain might make me think twice about staying again.

The location of this hotel is excellent, walking distance to everything historic downtown Charleston has to offer. Great restaurants, bars, pubs, shopping, and historic sites are right out the front door. Townhouse rooms are very comfortable with full kitchens, and the courtyard views are excellent. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, I would definitely return to this location on my next trip to Charleston.

Great downtown location, close to restaurants, shops, museums. No need to have a car to get around. There is an elevator to get you to the second floor to access your room. Each unit has a full kitchen, dining area, living room and half bath on the main floor. There is a full flight of stairs to get to the bedroom and full bath, however. Also, there are no laundry facilities at the inn. A nice place to stay overall and the staff is friendly.

Outstanding experience. Stayed here in a one bedroom Jacuzzi unit with a room that was upstairs and found it to be a wonderful, fun configuration. This hotel is in an excellent location for seeing the city, and we did everything from ghost tours to bar hopping. Super friendly staff. We plan to return in just a few short months!

Location is great and the rooms are sizable. Unfortunately the decor is very basic, the bed seems old, and the Wi-Fi is spotty. This was probably once a real gem but the upkeep seems to have fallen down a bit.

We were there for a business presentation. The facilities were clean and the staff was nice and accommodating.

Went to go visit family there so I can't speak to all the amenities, but it was a beautiful location. Family room was a little tight, and some elements looked a little outdated; mainly the green carpet for the stairs.

We love the Church Street In. Like going home but still on vacation. The staff is professional and helpful. Close to everything. Our Daughter had her wedding in Charleston and many of our guests stayed here. We are owners of a Timeshare and love offering it to friends and family. Owned it since 2001.

We loved it. Our family has been going to Charleston for years and this place is an absolute gem. Can't believe we missed it until now! The location is unbelievable. You will not need your car. The staff are great. The town home style units are way better than some two double bed and a desk modern hotel. The bathrooms are small but have updates fixtures. The kitchen is well stocked. We will be back. If you have mobility issues, this isn't a good option. Bedrooms are upstairs and there is no elevator in the units.

It is great! The rooms were very well decorated and clean. The staff was super friendly. It's centralized location meant we didn't need our car at all.
The one thing I do want to know is what kind of mattresses are in the rooms. I love them! They were so comfortable that I want to get one for myself.

A very good experience. I arrived very tired at about 3 PM and was nonplussed that my room wasn't ready until almost 4, especially as I was dressed for Chicago winter (I had just flown from Chicago) and it was a very warm, humid day, so the long wait in the un-airconditioned lobby, wearing pants and a shirt and sweater, was uncomfortable. Other than that, my experience, the room and its amenities, and the service were all first-rate. And the location is really ideal — right in the middle of the historic district. Special thanks to Jennifer at the desk, whose excellent conversation helped me while away my final hours awaiting my early-morning flight home.

I love every visit here in the most convenient spot next to the Market. Everyone is extremely helpful here as should be expected. All of their rooms are renovated with a kitchen and living room area. Becky, their concierge, was extremely helpful. This is a timeshare type place. If you can overlook their sales people there during the day sometimes, it is a great experience. No food is served here or pool, but with a kitchen, it is easy to walk over to Harris Teeter and get groceries and cook ourselves.

Huge rooms over two levels with a massive kitchen. Quiet tenants and close to pretty much everything. A carpark just around the corner makes it convenient to come and go as you please.
