Clean, hospitable, very quiet stay. We were here for 5 nights and never had any issues. We had a very relaxing anniversary vacation staying here. It was in close proximity to where we wanted to visit as well. Thank you!

We greatly enjoyed our stay here, although there were a few hiccups. On Saturday night on several occasions there were loud (probably drunk) people talking for extended periods of time. We were trying to sleep and had to call the front desk at least twice — after a family of four left, a pair of women showed up and started doing the same thing. Other than that the only issues I noted was the carpet near the foot and right side of the bed was a little sticky, I assume from carpet shampoo that hadn't been fully removed during cleaning, and the entryway was a little dirty. TV seemed outdated but worked fine. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful. All in all if you're looking for a nice short stay in this area this is the place for you!

I visited in July and it was an ok experience. The room was nice and the breakfast was okay. The first morning we woke up we had put groceries in the fridge and woke up to our food and what it was packaged in covered in ants. They made their way from the fridge to the counter in the kitchen. We were on the fourth floor so there should not have been any ants. But other than that the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was updated and nice.

The front desk staff here are unbelievably helpful, friendly and so are the housekeeping personnel. Just goes to show you, don't judge a book by it's cover! Good attitudes all around.

Wonderful hotel! Absolutely no complaints. Superior service and friendly staff and our room was pristine as well as the rest of the hotel. The daily breakfast was good, lots of options to choose from. The pool was refreshing and clean. The Wi-Fi didn’t work well at times but I’d rather be disconnected from that anyway! Would definitely book another room here in a heartbeat.

Fantastic facility! Unbelievably helpful staff. We are in a newly refurbished room and I it has everything you would want. The hot and cold breakfast has a large variety of choices that changes from day to day. We would definitely stay here again.

Competitively priced! 2 cookie backings at coffee bar! Friendly staff! Up to date security features! Bathroom supplied with night light not a black hole at night! Sturdy metal no flex bath tub!

Stayed here a few times for work and the service is excellent every time. Upgrades in the form of renovations to the rooms is an added bonus. Quiet with a friendly and efficient staff. Breakfast is available and hotel has a 24 hour fitness center and outdoor pool. Free Wi-Fi as well. Numerous options for food as hotel is located off of Ashley Phosphate Rd and you can jump on the interstate and you'll be in downtown Charleston in less than 15 mins if traffic is good.

Awesome place to stay. Upon arrival was greeted by two amazing women Stephanie and Crystal. Great house keeping Mrs. Cheryl was so sweet and kind with a beautiful smile on her face both days we saw her. The rooms was clean, and comfortable. It felt like Home. The overall exeperience was Great. But, Crystal, Stephanie and Mrs. Cheryl made it just that more special. Thank you Ladies.

Very nice Hampton. Friendly staff at the desk, was able to help us with first time visit to Charleston. Rooms were clean and well kept. My only complaint was the noise from the street along the front of the hotel, you'd think they were running a NASCAR race out there at times and there is also an airport close by and planes takeoff directly overhead.

The rooms need some renovation. In the bathrooms you could see some wallpaper falling from the walls. The customer service is very good. The location is very quiet. Good breakfast also.

Chad Ashley and Krusher I hope I spelled the young lady first name right but anyway they are the best that Hampton Inn Charleston North has to offer along with their manager Parvo they have a great team. Anything you can want in a hotel staff is found in those four people. As well as the housekeeping staff to many to mention by name. So if you are visiting Charleston South Carolina please check out Hampton Inn Charleston North you will be very pleased.

Overall experience was okay, except noise. I could clearly understand people talking in the hallway which was I really did not want to. Even late night I could hear some sound.

I'm on the third floor on the end, and while the AC was barely on when I got here (76? ), it's cooling down nicely. The beds are really comfortable, everything is really clean and well-kept and it feels recently-renovated, maybe? It's lovely!

It was ok. I couldn't stream YouTube videos over the Wi-Fi connection. Parking was fine. Breakfast was good.

Front desk was so nice. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and breakfast was good. Location is great. It's located near shops and I was just a few minutes away from the venue I needed to attend. Will stay again.

Not a bad place but the rooms are pretty dated compared to some of their other locations (white plastic features of the room that are yellowing, florescent light bulbs that are showing signs of age). The area can also be pretty loud at times with car traffic until about 9pm. The room is basically fine though — comfortable, Wi-Fi and nice breakfast included, plenty of restaurants nearby, a few within walking distance.

Nice hotel. Clean rooms. Nice pool outside. Only downside was the fact that there were never enough beach towels for the pool… And it wasn't even crowded! I saw a couple with 5 towels and nobody said anything. The 3 of us could only get one towel. Other than that it was a nice place to stay.

Very nice friendly hotel. They are renovating so the completed rooms are updated and lovely. Dont worry about the renovation they are very quiet. Beautiful lobby and nice breakfast. The pool is gorgeous, but my visit was too cool weather to enjoy.

Came all the way from Florida to attend my best friends wedding. When I arrive to check in under my friends reservation as her guest. Keep in mind She called ahead to let them know. They said that would be fine. When I checked in. I would have never tried to check in if I knew this would happen. I was told by the front desk I had to hold on a minute. Few minutes later A manger name Pavi came out to question me about the reservation threatening to cancel the reservation. Asking where is my friend. Very rude body language. She said my friend is doing something she is not suppose to. She needs to learn how to talk to people. She has absolutely no customer service. You DO NOT attack people that way. I wish we had booked another place. The employees are nice. She is a nightmare. She has ruin my whole day. Please make sure she doesn’t treat anyone else this way because this place seems very nice and clean…

Nice hotel but still undergoing construction and some of the rooms need a little bit of updating. Staff does a great job of making their guess happy. Breakfast is pretty nice has a make your own waffle machine coffee all day long and cookies in the evenings. A couple of restaurants within walking distance plenty of them a short car ride away.

The room is clean and comfortable. All of the staff is willing to go above and beyond for your comfort. Thanks for the great experience.

It's a nice hotel. Good value. Comfy. Breakfast is actually good. Staff is friendly. But someone smoked in our room (although strict non-smoking policy) and one way styrofoam plates and plastic silverware at breakfast is just horribly. Please stop being stupid!

Very clean hotel, exceptionally friendly staff! The breakfast is the standard Hilton continental, eggs, a meat, waffles, cereal, other breakfast odds and ends. The rooms were in good shape, there is some renovation going on, but the areas are blocked off and don't look like a construction site upon short glance, which is nice. The pool is clean and the fitness room looks cared for and has decent equipment to get an okay workout. Location isn't bad, there are a lot of other hotels nearby, so as a traveler concerned with security, you blend in to the mass of other travelers. The interstate is nearby, so easy access to getting to downtown (about 15 min drive). There is a grocery store and restaurants nearby. All in all, I was pleased with my stay!

Really enjoyed my stay. Hotel was clean and staff were very friendly. Enjoyed the complementary breakfast available until 10:30 and coffee that is available 24 hours. The gym had free weights and 3 cardio machines so It was enough for a good workout. Would stay here again and recommend.

Love using the app to book the room, check in, select our room and even use the digital key! Front desk staff was very friendly and efficient, as were the other staff that we encountered. Breakfast was great, especially considering that the woman working was short staffed. This was our second stay here and we have another one booked for October. Very convenient to Charleston, and lots of food choices nearby.

I don't have a single complaint, but don't confuse this with a 5-star hotel. Room was very clean and bed was extremely comfortable. Great quality for an affordable price. Free hot breakfast was a money-saving plus. Get up early to get a seat at breakfast. A lot of good food spots close by. This is a great place to stay for those visiting Charleston.

Rooms were very clean. Located near outlet mall for easy shoping. About a 15 minute drive to downtown historic Charleston. Cookies served to guests ate delicious! The only place I stay when I'm in the area.

Was really nice. Everything is pristine. I couldn't find a single thing wrong in the whole hotel. Beware the traffic in the morning though.

Very nice experience! The hotel staff was very nice to us and breakfast is great. Wifi is a bit slow for today's standard but usable for basic surfing and emailing.

Good place to lay your head. The help does well but it is a long walk to any place for dinner… Guess I'll have to drive.

We stay at this hotel at least once a month and the staff is always wonderful. Rooms are clean and the breakfast is on part with other hotels in this category.

Location of the hotel is nearby the North Charleston Mall and other attractions and restaurants. If going to downtown, it's only a 20-30 minutes drive. Hotel is clean, affordable, comfortable beds and pillows, and most importantly friendly customer service.

Rooms are always clean and for being right off 26 the highway noise is nearly nonexistent. Friendly staff and the nightly assortment of cookies is always a great thing.

Nice hotel but extremely disappointed that they didn't offer a military discount. Hampton Inn is where we always stay and this is the first one that did this. Not impressed at all.

New lobby renovation is teribble. They went from comfortable leather to 70's Indian flea market style.

I paid $149 for ONE night at the Hampton Inn North Charleston — thinking that there would be no issues. Everything seemed to be flowing fine when we arrived there. When we got to our room, we were disappointed that our view out our window was a complete wall of the building! Other than that, the room seemed fine. It was clean and no foul odor. We went on with our day. Later that evening there were ANTS in our room! Ants were on the bed, the wall, and on the desk by the television! There was no way that my friend and I had caused the ants. We never brought in any food or drinks to the room! My friend who discovered the ants first immediately called the front desk. The funny part was, I got to see how Kesha (the front desk employee) react to the call, because as I was walking to the elevator my friend was on the phone with Kesha about the ants. WHY did I happened to walk by the front desk and heard/watched the phone conversation?. Because there was NOT ENOUGH PARKING! I had dropped my friend off at the front then proceed on to park somewhere else! Coincidence? The front desk employee Kesha told us all the rooms were booked and they could not move us to another room. Kesha offered that all they could do was come in to spray the ants; which NO ONE EVER CAME! When I called back. Kesha told me they had no maintenance employees after 11pm which is lame for a hotel that charges $149/night! Luckily I was able to get my refund (through Expedia) not the hotel.

The rooms have plenty of space and the staff is friendly. I like the nights they cater food in (Tues-Thurs, I believe), because it's free. Even the wine and beer. It's clean, the room has a refrigerator AND microwave in it. Just overall very convenient and nice for the price.
