We love staying here when we come home to visit family. I’m so comfortable with the staff who are so helpful and caring. The room are so clean and that really matters to us. This is my go to place. Try staying sometime, it’s like home honestly!

Worst hotel ever. Never stay here. Seriously. Hockey mom here (x3 kids) who has stayed in a MILLION hotels and has never, ever, ever, ever been treated so rudely and poorly by any staff. Ever.
And plus, the rooms claim they are “king suites”… yeah, no. A bed crammed into a tiny room with a crappy pullout.
And the breakfast is terrible too.

I was quoted one price on the phone when making my reservation, billed $100 more than agreed to, Hotel manager Justin gave me the brush off, corporate Marriott gave me the same brush off. The rates are clearly on your website but yet you deny overcharging me $100, never again. Your simple error cost you a customer because of poor customer service.

Disgusting! Horrible people, general manager is ignorant doesn’t care about a thing! Our room had bugs and we ll never return here again!

The front desk staff is the most polite and friendly! Cleanliness is over the top awesome. I would defiantly recommend this as place to stay in Erie, PA. Looking forward to coming back.

The nicest Marriot hotels I've stayed at. These suites are on point. Very clean! They offer a pool and laundry area. Staff is excellent. They offer a snack area near check-in with chips, candy, soda, water, and beer. Convenient location near all local amenties. Good breakfast!

Had a wonderful time here! The location is hard to find behind Homewood suites and in the very end and back of a large strip mall. We got the Queen suite which had a comfortable bed in the separate bedroom and a nice couch and chair with a small kitchen, desk and bureau in the main room. We comfortably ate dinner in that room and just enjoyed the time relaxing there. Staff was all friendly and courteous.

Amenities in room and hotel great for a family. Rooms a really nice size. 24 hr coffee! Breakfast was very busy, but the woman working it hustled. May be good to have someone helping her during busy times as items ran out. When we used the pool, it was short on towels and some guests hadn't cleaned up after themselves. Walls and doors very thin. Admittedly, I could hear my own kids down the hall. Ice maker was broken on our floor. All staff was very polite and welcoming.

Loved the room and amenities. You could seriously live in one of these rooms if need be. The room was very clean also. If I had anything negative to say about this place, it would be the continental breakfast could be a little better. Rubbery fried eggs and dry sausage patties… but they are included with the stay, so I can't complain more than that about them. The lady serving up the breakfast seemed very busy and hardworking. Kudos to her. Everyone here were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in town.

I was so pleased with this hotel and our stay. The kitchenette was so handy! Beds were heaven. Bathrooms super clean. I loved the walk through closet as well. Breakfast offered the usual waffles, oatmeal, yogurts, pastries and fruit etc. Quiet and clean!

Highly recommend for short and long term stays. It's not luxury, but it is clean, affordable, close to everything and the AMAZING staff make it the place to stay. We recently had to move out of our house for 2 weeks for renovations and stayed at the TownePlace Suites in Erie. The friendly staff made our unplanned stay better than expected!

Staying here now for a business/ work trip and it has been excellent so far. The amenities are wonderful, great breakfast, spacious rooms and very clean! Highly recommend!

Amazingly quiet location, though it's right by I-79. Clean and well kept, but tucked way back in an awkward parking lot. Easy to get to most of Erie, and well priced, so it's my local choice.

I booked my stay at this hotel as I saw it has a good reviews, everything went fine until I was about to sleep, I pulled up the sheets and I saw a huge stink bug inside the sheet, I went downstairs and I was told by the front desk employee that this is normal and they always see them especially in the summer and this is not a problem, as this is not a bed bug, and if you want we can change your room, or just kill the bug for you. I changed the room, however will not stay again at this location.

Good extended stay hotel. Staff were very diligent during the crazy snow storm. Free breakfast was nice to have as well. The suites are small but nicely appointed.

The suites are spacious and generous. Complete with a kitchenette which comes fully stocked with dishes and cutlery and pots and pans. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Enjoyed my nights stay. Room was nice and I had a blast. See ya next weekend.

Nice modern suites with kitchen. Staff were nice and accomodating. Allowed me to check-in early. Only issues I had were a slightly mildewy smell when I first came in my room but it eventually went away and also it seemed like all the faucets were leaky in the bathroom which got kind of annoying.

I stayed at the Towneplace Suites in Erie and thought it was a very well run hotel. The staff was very nice and my room was very clean. I typically stay at all Marriott properties and this was the first TownePlace I have stayed at. I would recommend this hotel!

Very clean. Very pleasant employees. Only complaint is maybe they tell customers that just stop in to book a room what the pet fee is BEFORE they book room. An extra $100 was unexpected since most our much lower.

Excellent service. Stayed only for the night and was on the road the next morning. Breakfast was complimentary, varied and well prepared. Room was clean upon arrival, spacious and well-lit. Would definitely visit again. Also their rewards program is one of the best.

TownPlace Suites is very nice. The rooms are clean, furnished well, and very accommodating. The staff is friendly and the continental breakfast is delightful. If you're looking for a decent place to stay in Erie, PA, look no further.

The hotel is a gem Nestled behind a shopping center, appon arrival my family was upgraded to a corner suite with 2 bedrooms a full kitchen and living room. The breakfast was busy but filling. My kids and I loved the pool even if it was a little cold. I would totally recommend this hotel to friends and family. The staff made our stay very pleasant.

Our hotel room was ready when we arrived early. The check in process was super simple. Staff was extremely friendly. Our room was comfortable and spacious. We will definitely return again.

Perfect for what we needed. Essentially, you can get a 2 bedroom apt. Location is weird — you're basically in a mall off the highway and share the parking lot with 3 other long-term stay hotels just like it. Super reasonably priced, good service and continental breakfast each morning. Nothing fancy but they do what they promise.

Such a great place to stay when visiting the Lake. It's location is fantastic and the service is excellent. On our most recent stay here (stay here every visit to Erie), the attention to maintenance and the exterior grounds has dropped a little. The cleaning service did not do it's usual attention to detail either. Leads me to believe there may be a new manager. However, with that said, this is still an excellent choice to stay.

Usually a Good place to stay. My room was invested with something called stink bugs. Stayed a weekend and housekeeping never cleaned my room. I took out my own trash.

Was disappointed with this town place suites. I stayed at the town place suites in Clarksburg, wv for 2.5 years while working in the oil industry and was amazed by the corner suites. This one in Erie not so much. This one is so small compared to the WV one, no room at all. It's only been 10 months since I have stayed in WV too. WV suite had full size stove and fridge and microwave and dishwasher, and double sink, Erie one has apartment size fridge, half stove w/o an oven, full micro, full dishwasher, and half a sink. In all the entire size of this 2 bdr suite was the size of my kitchen and living room in WV. Thought they would be the same but guess not, again disappointed by the size of what I am used to at the same hotel same room.

We booked a room for our 2 girls for last night. One is 18 and the other is 17. They were coming up to go to the beach and the park. I paid ahead of time but my older daughter was going to need to show id. Her wallet was stolen while she was up there and they thought they would have to come home. I called and explained what happened and the individual I talked to was great. He was extremely friendly and helpful. He assured me that the girls would be fine and have a room. This was a huge relief because I was 2 hrs away and very worried. This man that I spoke with not only put a mothers mind to ease, which isnt always easy, but also gave me excellent customer service. The girls also said he was great when they checked in. So to Levi who worked on 7-10 I commend you. You are an excellent employee and should be rewarded for your customer service. Your kindness and consideration are exactly what customer service is all about. You have made us want to stay at a Marriott each and every time we travel. Thank you!
