Hotel is a reasonable distance from local tourist attractions. Free breakfast was very good. Only complaint is that some of the power outlets in the room were loose and would not hold a phone charger in place overnight.

Day one:The first room we were given was on the first floor. The air conditioner was moldy, the tub was dirty and hair from previous guests was everywhere. The desk relocated us to the 2nd floor, they were kind and helpful. Unfortunately the blinds were broken and again the tub was not very clean. We didn't want to complain again so we just sucked it up. Around 1030pm the people upstairs returned from their adventures of the day and proceeded to be excessively noisy for about 2 hours. Finally called the desk to ask what the policy might be, they were friendly but the family bowling upstairs may or may not have been notified. Day two:Slept alright but wasn't able to get the air to cool the room sufficiently for the comforters on the beds. Beds are comfortable and pillows were good. Breakfast wasn't stellar but was good enough. Waffles are a fave so happy that they were available. Fruit was sort of fresh. Shower immediately turned into a bath because the drain was so clogged. Disgusting! Spoke with the desk… again, manager was not in yet just before 0900. Was assured there would be a note and maintenance would check it out, they'd call if they needed to move us. We went on with our day at Hershey park. No one called, so we just made the assumption that it was dealt with and no problems. Beds were made, no fresh towels, no clean tub and nothing at all was done to the drain. Went to speak with the desk… again.

The first day the floors were sopping wet from cleaning. The manager was informed. My wife didn't want to move because we already in the room. The next day the day shift people were horrible. They were rude and condescending and said that we should have moved and nothing else was offered. When we asked for towels they never came. Had to go get my own toilet paper. The night shift people were great. Gabi, if I remember her name correctly, and the night manager were fantastic and very helpful. He offered a refund the day shift people would not. Will never stay here again. Especially with the day shift employees.

Beautiful room and delicious breakfast. Clean! Fantastic management team actually thanked us for staying! We WILL return.

There was a weird noise coming from the door and the staff didn't help except for one guy. The eggs are watery and terrible. Plz don't go there.

Very pleased with my stay at this Hampton Pros: great price, great location, quiet (aside from the occasional slammed door), good parking (though only on the front and side of the building — you may not be able to see your car from your room), super-friendly staff, clean, recently updated, firm but comfy beds, excellent shower (good temp, plenty of pressure, and adjustable shower head), good breakfast, HD TV and free Wi-Fi that was reasonably fast Only cons: pillows too soft (no support), heat/AC was touchy (one degree up and the AC stopped and it got stuffy, one degree down and it blew constantly), and kids at breakfast (Hershey tourists) were noisy and in the way Will DEFINITELY stay here again — 5 stars!

Very nice, clean hotel. But no restaurant, and lots of unruly noisy kids running thru the halls all night.

The hotel and rooms were clean and inviting. The staff couldn't be nicer and very friendly. The only problem was with the breakfast. Both mornings they ran out of food. We always had to wait a long while for eggs and pancake batter. I do understand that there was something going on at the Giants center so the hotel was booked. Management should have made sure more than one person was working the breakfast buffet. The poor girl was doing her best. There should have been more than one person doing it. I would definitely stay here again.

Easy access to the freeway. Staff was friendly and professional. Breakfast was mediocre. Room was clean. Wi-Fi was good enough to stream video.

Very good fluffy beds. Candy waffle maker. Fruits and veggie omelets. They also have yogurts in ice bowls. The pool tastes like bleach.

We had a great stay here, check in was great fast and easy. The rooms were clean and nice the beds were very comfortable. We did not get to make it to the pool but there was one. Breakfast was good and fresh my 4 year old was very excited for the chocolate milk. Everyone that worked there was very pleasant. Had a very nice stay.

Great location! Very fresh and clean. Only complaint was the noise… we had a room by the elevator on the second floor and we could hear all the traffic at the elevators as well as thumping from the 3rd floor. Hotel didn't seem to have standard soundproofing.

Great place to stay, its like a little apartment. Living room, seperate bedroom, and Huge bathroom. It was all updated with modern decor.

Everyone has been wonderful! The girls at the front desk yesterday webt out of the way to get us an early check in, and gavr suggestions on a plave to visit whil we waited. Suoer friendly, and breakfast is delicious!

Asked at check-in if they gave AAA discounts. Was told that they did and I showed them my card. Next morning at check-out they would not give it to me stating there were no more AAA rooms available when I checked in and I should have been told that. What? Never was given that excuse before. Also, most of the hotels near Hershey Medical Center give discounts if you are there with family. Not this Hampton. But if you go to the Hampton closer to the Medical Center they gladly give a discount. The only reason I went there was because I asked valet for directions to a Hampton and that was where they sent me. Never again. My bill $183.84 compared to my niece staying at the other Hampton just down the road for $89.

The rooms are very clean and modern. Felt very much at home. The location is nice as well. It's not too far away from everything. Really close to the park. It's about a 5 minute drive if that. I loved the hotel and would choose to stay here again.

Rooms are clean, pool is clear and clean. Tv is perfect for setting up my Xbox to watch movies at night. Room temp is easily adjusted.

Very nice clean room we had the king with sofa bed the king bed was very comfortable and clean other then having a few specs of lint in it the sofa bed was fairly comfortable but I think is better to kids because its kinda short the furniture was very modern and there where outlets on all the lamps for easy charging of your devices the TV was very large and a fair amount of HD channels only complaint is that the drain plug on the tub was broke so no baths and the mini fridge was kinda of small. The pool was heated and had towels and the fitness center was clean cool and was well equipped to conclude besides those small complaints the hotel was a nice place to stay for the weekend and I would recommend staying there.

Nice, clean hotel with friendly staff. Room was ready by 1! Happy to see the electronic key worked well. Similar to HI Express, I'd like to see soft and firm pillow options.

After researching the best value for hotels near Hershey I came to the conclusion to stay at the Hampton Inn and Suites-Near the Park. I was confused at first because there are two Hampton Inns near Hershey but after looking at trip advisor and Facebook reviews I chose this location and I'm so happy I did! Checking in was amazing! I joined Hilton Honors for free and was able to check in and choose wha…t room I wanted 24 hours in advance to my arrival. Also using your phone as a key was very convenient. I suggest everyone get the App for these features. *********The Room*******
Extremely clean! There was some rust around the shower head but the entire bathroom was very clean and I felt comfortable using it. The beds were comfy and no bed bugs! (I searched and searched because I'm neurotic) **********Breakfast*******
The complimentary breakfast was plentiful. I'm on a very low carb diet and was scared I wasn't going to have many options but there was an egg and meat selection in both mornings — along with fruit yogurt bagels English muffins regular muffins and waffle makers with crazy toppings for kids. *********The Pool********
One of the best features for the kids is that after we were exhausted at Hershey we could come back and swim until Midnight!

Our stay was fine. It is not far from the park and fairly easy to find. The walls and floors are a bit thin though. There was a large group including many children (possibly for a school trip? ) also staying. The hotel did nothing to curb the noise level of these children. The kids were running up and down the halls well past midnight. The pool area was inaccessible due to unsupervised children misbehaving and not following rules (through no fault of the hotel) though a warning to the people supposedly supervising would have been nice. No hot tub in the pool area. TV easy to control, air conditioning functions well, wonderful large tub that can easily accommodate plus sized people (such as myself). Beds are a bit firm but not uncomfortable. Morning breakfast has a fairly good selection.

Our room was amazing we stayed in one of the second floor suites and loved every minute of it! There was plenty of room for my 3 kids ages 14, 10, and 7. It also had a separate area for my wife and I to sleep away from them. The indoor pool even though it was smaller was a perfect distraction for the kids since the temperatures outside were not high enough to participate in any outdoor activities. The continental breakfast was also amazing it included fresh scrambled eggs, sausage, pastries, cereal, juice, milk, and yogurt. I will definitely stay here again the next time we come to visit my daughter.

The hotel is very good, and the breakfast has a huge variety of choices. Also I loved their coffee cups, really cute.

The staff were very friendly and the sheets in the rooms were good quality. The rooms themselves were very modern. The price per night was very economical. I would recommend staying here.

Staff at front desk (Dan "the man" was extremely friendly. Place was well lit and everything was very clean.

Across the street were a bunch of cows with a great sense of humor. It was a laughing stock.

My poor review ultimately comes down to the housekeeping. No towels. Made one bed and ignored the other. Didn't restock shampoo or other supplies.

Stayed here for a family vacation. Rooms were clean and staff was pleasant. Free breakfast was excellent with a menu varied from day to day. We would definitely stay here again.

First time in a Hampton Inn. Had surgery at Hershey the next day. Very nice, comfortable, friendly staff. Hoping to return soon prior to another medical procedure. Would definitely recommend this motel.

Stayed here for our family trip to Hersey Park. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Chasity the manager and her staff are amazing and show great hospitality towards their guest. One of the guest staying at the hotel was not to friendly to my kids and a staff member (I wish I knew his name) noticed and not only apologized to me, but also reported it to Chasity. When we got back to our room from the park the kids and I were pleasantly surprised to find nice little cards and treats for the kids apologizing for her guest's behavior and commending them on the way they conducted themselves. The kids loved the pool, the rooms were nice and clean. I would definitely visit again.

Great people and service.

Excellent service. We left our other hotel because of bed bugs. Came in immediately got a room and were treated like a guest should be. Manager was super nice and everything is perfect.

Got the room on HotWire and was pleasantly surprised. Wonderful staff and very nice rooms. Modern and clean. Will stay again when coming to the area. Great location.

I can not even describe how bad my stay was with them! Front desk were very rude and not helpful. I do not appreciate being treated that way. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone. Such a shame that people treat their guests that way.

It is a nice hotel. Always clean and very friendly. Especially the breakfast crew.

Stressful visit to hershey medical center needed to rest before long drive home. Desk clerk gave calm instructions how to find hotel (which was really easy). Astutely noticed how stressed I was and provided a local map. Noticing I was without luggage, provided toothpaste and tooth brush and directions to local kmart and how to get back to hotel! a couple of warm cookies a hot shower and I wad a new person. Highly recommend.
