Day one:The first room we were given was on the first floor. The air conditioner was moldy, the tub was dirty and hair from previous guests was everywhere. The desk relocated us to the 2nd floor, they were kind and helpful. Unfortunately the blinds were broken and again the tub was not very clean. We didn't want to complain again so we just sucked it up. Around 1030pm the people upstairs returned from their adventures of the day and proceeded to be excessively noisy for about 2 hours. Finally called the desk to ask what the policy might be, they were friendly but the family bowling upstairs may or may not have been notified. Day two:Slept alright but wasn't able to get the air to cool the room sufficiently for the comforters on the beds. Beds are comfortable and pillows were good. Breakfast wasn't stellar but was good enough. Waffles are a fave so happy that they were available. Fruit was sort of fresh. Shower immediately turned into a bath because the drain was so clogged. Disgusting! Spoke with the desk… again, manager was not in yet just before 0900. Was assured there would be a note and maintenance would check it out, they'd call if they needed to move us. We went on with our day at Hershey park. No one called, so we just made the assumption that it was dealt with and no problems. Beds were made, no fresh towels, no clean tub and nothing at all was done to the drain. Went to speak with the desk… again. No note was made, no on notified, no manager on duty, they THINK it warrants a free night. Fine. Long day in the sun just want to rest. So tomorrow we hope to speak to a manager before checking out. Still using a trash bin to hold the drapes closed as the blinds don't work and the parking lot lights are bright. Update:I would give a 3.5 if I could. Spouse did speak with manager. He was very polite and courteous. We were told we wouldn't be charged for our stay.
