Don't waste your time and money. This place should be reported as a health hazard. The whole building smelled like cigarettes. The smell in our non smoking room was even stronger than in the hallway. I tried to ignore the smell because we pre-paid for two nights and didn't want to lose our money. After bringing our luggage into the room my husband left to go get something to eat at the Wawa which was right next door. I waited in the room. After about 5 minutes the smell was getting to me. I started having trouble breathing and started coughing. After another 5 or so minutes I was coughing so much that I started throwing up. When my husband returned I was gasping for air, coughing, choking, and throwing up so much that we decided to leave and ask for a refund. The guy at the desk didn't give us a hard time running our money but he only gave us one night refund. We paid for two nights. It's now midnight and we don't have a place to stay. Luckily there was a red roof inn down the road that had a vacancy. My nose and lungs were so full of the cigarette smell that any little smell was setting off my coughing and throwing up. Our new room didn't smell bad (it actually smelled nice) but because of the exposure I had prior to getting there my coughing and throwing up returned. That place made me so sick that it took me 2 days to finally get over it. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I'm surprised that corporate didn't shut them down already. They were rated at 3.

Nice room for the price and booked same day as I was arriving.

Very friendly n polite staff. And the housekeepers keep the Rooms very clean. Great Job to you all. We definitely will stay here again.

It was cool to hang out with a dude and just watch TV with no expectations and with enough self control to not just fall on the preverbial sword, actin like a hero but knowing you a zero. Lol BUT seriously, a smoking floor was well appreciated and we wish more hotels left one floor at least for those who feel at home especially in the am, not having to grab an elevator and get fully dressed to catch a puff puff to ease into the hell that has become Earth. I definitely need to get rid of my Langhorne and get my Stella (*) back on its back where it belongs but for now I guess making a new friend and having a chill home away from home to hold it down for us is something we appreciate more than ever and if you're looking for a place to just be yourself with no pretenses, you would be hard pressed to find a better hotel in the area for that than the Quality Inn behind the Super Wawa on Street Road, nearly spitting distance from Parx Casino. I love the "$$Suite" at the Holiday Inn when I'm feeling lucky or if Christine is in a BOUGIE mood, but my heart and soul are with the Quality Inn… All In. Word ✅.

Sad to say if any family emergency happens don't plan on getting any refund! After my daughters bedroom roof caved in and put me in a situation having to salvage what I could to put in a storage unit and forcing me to change my plan and having to check into a local hotel to live till my housing curcumstance changes, as a single parent of 4 children, I was told because I failed to call and cance my reservation that day all this was happening, For them to give me a refund would dip into their revenue, so my account was charged regardless of me being able to show during this terrible crisis in my life… Sad that this is the type of people in the world. They care more about money and their business and leave no room for crisis or empathy …

Stayed here on 2 separate occasions. They accommodated my request for a 1st floor room both times. There are smoking and non smoking rooms here so some of the non smoking rooms have a slight bleed over of smoke smell. Beds are comfortable, staff is friendly and rooms are clean. Will definitely stay here again.

Very comfortable. I wanted to take the bed home with me. My aunt decided to stay overnight and they easily switched my moms room to a double with disability access. Breakfast was hot the entire morning and well stocked. And I don't know what orange juice they had but it was friggin amazing. Pulp and no pulp but I was all for that PULP and oh mmmmmmmm.

This hotel was incredible. I'm sorry to say that there are most definitely some quality control differences between Quality Inns. This one was far better than any of the others by a mile. The interior was stylish, the entry way was inviting, and the rooms were much nicer than any other Quality Inn I'd stayed at. There was a great view from the room and it was conveniently located to everything. Linens were clean and staff was excellent. Has an actual conversation with the front desk clerk rather than just making small talk like the check-in at most places.

Good atmosphere, decent kitchen, nice to spend an evening.

We normally stay at another hotel when we are up visiting this area, but due to a last minute trip our normal hotel was booked. I am sort of mixed on this hotel. The staff here all very pleasant which is a plus. The hotel itself is a bit rundown but generally clean. Our room overall was clean with the exception of the ice bucket and we noticed that the sheets were stained. You would think that in a hospitality setting, you would dispose of sheets that cannot come visually clean. The shower had good water pressure and the hot water was quick to arrive. We tried the breakfast the first morning and did not go back. They had one waffle maker which makes for a problem when everything else is limited. They had sausage and omelets but neither looked very appealing. There were some small, and I mean small pastries as well. I doubt we will be returning here. Should our circumstances repeat we will try to find somewhere else. It wasn't a dump by any means but I just cant see giving it more then 3 stars.

Most reasonable for the price you pay. The staff is great and attentive, the rooms are clean. I would definitely recommend the place.

This place is a total dump, and the manager here is an incompetent moron who thinks customer service means insulting his guests when they complain about obviously disgusting and filthy conditions. Choice Hotels should burn this dump to the ground and start from scratch.

Do not stay here! I wouldn't stay here if the rooms were free. If you do, for some reason, decide to stay here, I strongly recommend taking antibiotics for the ten days following your stay, as well as doing a full workup of your blood to confirm you haven't contracted any serious diseases.

This is a disgusting place. It is, by far, the dirtiest hotel I've ever stayed at. Unfortunately I didn't fully realize the sad state of things were until the next morning when I took a shower: mold in several places around the tub, paint peeling from the ceiling above the shower, several stains on the shower curtain (two areas looked like splattered blood! ), the toilet hinges were filthy, every horizontal surface except for the bathroom counter and the nightstand between the beds was covered in a thick layer of dust, the hair dryer was disintegrating, the TV stand was broken, the nightstand's fake wood laminate was warped in several places, and best of all, the general manager I showed these photos to basically told me to screw off. :)

Stay here quite often as part of a company contract. STILL they treat us GREAT, have a nicely located place with food and shopping within walking distance and clean rooms that are working. (Nothing broke) I'd stay here if I was in town. Well kept up.

Room is not clean. Bathroom is not clean. The floor was dirty! Does the cleaning staff know how to use a mop? I had to clean the toilet before using it! Ice bucket so dirty I wouldn't even use it with the plastic bag. Filthy coffee maker didn't work after I washed it out. Asked for another and was given one filthier than the one I had already washed.

This place is godawful. Staff is ridiculously slow and and very biased. The rooms quite often smell like old moth balls. When an accident occurred, the staff accused me of trying to "break" a Television. This place is nothing short of a complete joke. Also, almost ALL of the staff look like terrorists for christ sale. I will never be returning to this establishment ever again.

The hotel is fine and livable for one night but there are some issues with it. 1) The bed. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable. It was a queen sized bed and was harder than we liked but it was so worn down that the sides were almost slopes. Whenever you rolled over (facing away from the bed) you felt like you were sleeping on a ramp. Very uncomfortable. 2) the furniture and doors were in bad shape. Our TV stand had detail strips ripped off (With finishing nails exposed) and the inside side of the bathroom door had multiple stains and smears on it (it was clear the housekeeping staff kept the door open when cleaning it. ) The room was clean otherwise and it felt like a safe hotel… it just wasn't a great experience for more than one cheap night in a hotel.

Wish I could get my money back for this overpriced dirty hotel. The sheets had blood on them & the bed skirt had semen on it. There were splatters behind the toilet and rips in the curtains. The breakfast is microwaved minus the waffles. The breakfast area rug and chairs all have horrible stains on them. The guy at the front desk "Sam" was rude & for some reason he was sweating. I couldn't shower there because my boyfriend found pubes in the soap holder. Needless to say I went home and scrubbed myself clean. I hate this place. Don't EVER stay there.

Cheap stay. My stay was 79.00 for a king bedroom. BE WARNED you will get what you pay for. Shooting just outside the parking lot, heavy dust in corners on counters and floors, thin curtains and poor lighting. Bed was comfortable though.

Well I have been staying here for a while and I’m just gonna go out on this “ YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR” not only are all the other reviews CORRECT but it’s definitely sad they are apart of the choice rewards program and it’s not really much of a reward to stay here. Some areas of the rooms (I have stayed in at lease 5 different rooms here) haven’t been touched in a long time. The sheets all have stains. They won’t change the bed unless u watch them do it and Some tubs have bath mats that are EXTREMELY moldy underneath. So if ur room had a bath mat ask them to change rooms Immediately. The maids do a poor job of cleaning and then harass you to do do it anyway. The front desk concierge staff are very polite tho.

My stay at this place was horrific! DO NOT STAY HERE! My friends and I stayed here last night and it was absolutely a disaster. We actually had a two night reservation, we could stay the second night because the suite we had was filthy! We requested another room it was so dirty. The second room was worse! No batteries in the TV remote, there was ice frozen over in the frig, we could barely close it, about a half an inch of dust on the head boards, microwave was NASTY inside and out… but the most horrific was when we decided to leave the room to get away from the horror, upon returning we pulled the sofa bed out… the linen was stained, dusty and looked like there were droppings! Needless to say we were outta there. We were lucky to get another room at another hotel at such short notice. Please do not go there! please! no stars for you!

I checked into this hotel for the New Year's with me and my friends and the first room that they put us in it was nasty the bathroom was dirty the couch had three different legs on it. And then they put us in another suites. We had to go in there with our Clorox bleach wipes that we had in our car and take it in there and wipe the room down from the microwave to the bed frames of the bed. So damn trifling dirty, nasty, and disgusting and we had to ask for batteries for the remote control for the TV. We had to ask for toilet tissue so we can go to the bathroom and we also needed soap in the bathroom. Then they sent someone upstairs to clean the room after me and my friends cleaned the room and the lady didn't mop the floor. You would not believe but she had a rag or washcloth to wipe the floor and mop the floor right in front of our face with the rag, it was trifling. And then we open the sofa bed to go to bed and it look like it has not been checked in months. It was bed bug eggs on the blanket and all kinds of stains on the blanket. We called another hotel that night for another room for the next morning. Thank God a room was available for us, so we left the hotel without taking a shower and it was so disgusting. If you are reading this today 12/31/2017, Please believe it, this is not Ripley's Believe It or Not. For Real if you're looking for a hotel please sir and ma'am business corporate office do not do not go to Quality Inn and Suites on Street Road in Bensalem.

Priced very reasonable. The management and staff are very accommodating and friendly. The hotel just went thru a total upgrade. This quality Inn is located near the pa. Turnpike, Rte 1, 2 major shopping malls, the neshaminy and Oxford valley malls also 1 mile away are great eating establishments, the parx Casino and horse race track. Very close to Philadelphia and the Trenton also the jersey shore. I highly recommend this hotel. Ask for ash, Sam or Kate to help you.

My husband and I had to stay in this hotel for a job we are doing in Philadelphia. We travel all over the country and typically stay in choice hotels. When I tell you this is literally the worst hotel I've been to, it's an understatement. My husband has a service dog. As many of you know, service dogs are protected under the Americans with disabilities act, and people with service animals are not to be discriminated against in any hotel, housing, etc. We always tell the hotels we have a service animal and have never had an issue until we get here. The man at the front desk told us there were no pets allowed, and I explained that his service dog is not a pet and it is illegal to refuse us a room. Then he says that dogs leave an odor that will never go away and he can't allow it. First of all, clearly your people aren't really cleaning the rooms if that's the case. So I tell him that I will call my lawyer if he's going to discriminate against my husband. Then he decides to cooperate but even still every time we came down stairs he shot us dirty looks and spoke in whatever language he speaks. Not only do we have to go through all this trouble, but the room is DISGUSTING. There's hair all over the bathroom and stains on the sheets. I could go on and on for days but I have called their corporate and told them and they were mortified. Will be in contact with a lawyer.

So unprofessional front desk didn't even bother to check my ID, no direction or whatsoever other than your room is on the 2nd floor. Choice hotels might have to give them a new training. This is my first and last stay ever with them.

Maids need to clean better. Major mold in bathroom. Hair in tub dirty floor. But they are very sweet couple. Stay here often for travel with work n hubby… not home but close enough.

Clean. Needs renovation. No pictures on the walls in the room we were in. Full breakfast each morning is nice.

I stayed here few years ago and the stay was mediocre. I came back recently and found the hotel was completly renovated and provided excellent service and comfort. Did not have any regrets coming back here and can't wait to stay again when I am in the area.

Quality Inn in Bensalem PA is a nice hotel. Well cleaned pretty modern. Only complaint is the 5th floor is pretty musty. It's the smoking floor of the hotel but you can sure tell.

Run of the mill place. Service and rooms are what you pay for. Don't expect even the lightest of extra service from the owners. They seem to be very stingy. Couldn't even spare some milk for the baby. Bluntly refused to spare some milk even though they serve breakfast in the morning. Overall nothing great.

Average rooms say great prices.

Friendly and looks ok at first untill you go to sleep and wake up and find your iching from several bedbug bites. Found three and got a refund. Never going back.

Worst Choice property ever used. I don't know how Quality inn flag is still continue on this property. Traveled with my wife & kids. Blood stains was all over linen. Room & bathrooms was filthy looks like never got cleaned. Check McLain several times but no one bother to help us. No more Choice property for us. And it was not cheap. It cost us almost if Holiday Inn express price.

Though the hotel staff are pleasant and accommodating the room itself needs serious renovations. I honestly feel like this hotel is overpriced.

Hotel was decently priced with free breakfast and we'll kept lobby and rooms. Only downside was finding 2 pillows with what appeared be blood spots on them, put in closet and did not use. Reported it at check out and got a 20% coupon off future stay.

Nice room. Comfy bed and decent breakfast. Close to several restaurants. Nice room for a one night stay.

It was nice at first but we went out and the cleaners came to clean the room anforgot to close the window and my son almost fell out and when I said somthing thy made us leave the hotel and told not to come back and said we are lieing we spent 5 days there at 110$$ a night.

For the price the bathrooms could be cleaned a little better. I found hair left on the tub and on the towels after the room has been cleaned.

The Quality Inn didn't leave the best impression and seemed quite substandard for business meetings.

Place was not clean, broken furniture and they ruined the coffee. The dressers were smashed and bolted back together. The ceiling had water damage in multiple areas and large areas of peeling paint. The sink vanity was cracked and falling off. The sink would not drain. The register has dust and lint on it from who knows when. The door jams had hands prints, not washed. The window shade was falling off, dirty and did not keep out the light from the flood light aimed at the window. The carpets throughout the room and hallways were filthy. Smoking rooms are across the hall from non-smoking rooms. The "breakfast" was not stocked and their coffee was just water. Corporate did not want to take a complaint. The front desk tried to tell me how it was my fault that I was upset. And the list goes on. I am a regular traveller (45% of the year). Quality Inn will never again get my business.

We had an awful stay at the Quality Inn. I booked this place for my husband and 2 small children (and 2 other rooms for my in-laws). We paid extra money to book a suite. First off, there was a large wet spot that smelled like something was rotting in the living room area (which my poor 16 month old kept walking over). There was hair left in the tub that I had to bath my children in. And the most awful part was there was blood on the down comforter (that I found in the morning). I'd like to mention that the TV stand was smashed and the draw wouldn't close to the desk. This place was a complete MESS and to top it off I paid $135 to be complete disgusted. Do not book this hotel!

Well I was visiting family that was staying there overnight. The hotel smelled funky, not bad but not good either. There was dirt on the sheets and in one room there were burn marks on the comforter.

Not bad but heater didn't work.

Just an overnight stay, but the bed was comfortable, staff was friendly and the room was Ok for the price. Would definitely stay there again.

I called to reserve a single room, but was told to "just show up" and book the room in person, because there would, indeed, be a king bed room available when we got there. Okay, whatever. So, after driving the 5 1/2 hours to the hotel, we check in and ask for a standard king, which was apparently no problem. We got to our room, a double queen, and were confused, but so exhausted that we didn't care to complain, until our tub was poorly maintained and the TV didn't work. First world problems, I know, but seriously if you're going to stay somewhere and want to enjoy your stay I DON'T SUGGEST THIS HOTEL.

We arrived to this hotel just because it's was rated better 4.1 on the Google list but when we get there alovators don't work, in side the room coffe pot wasn't changed or clean for several days, I checked the blanked and pillows I saw hair and stains from the blood. In addition to everything on the cover of the bed I saw huge discharged of the men sperm that was never cleaned by housekeeper. If you like my experience be my guest rent the ro but if you don't? never ever reserve room over there run from this place cause I slept with my cloth on! 08-09/15
