You have been on the road for a week, you have one stop left, & everything that could go wrong has already gone wrong. All you want to do is get to a nice place where you can rest your head. The Residence Inn Tulsa South is NOT that place. I have never seen a more lazy group of staff members. We stayed here for 1 evening. We utilized the app the day before to ask for pillows & blankets that were needed. We had car trouble and didn't know that we would make it. We called the hotel and the lady that answered refused to help me and told me to figure it out on my own utilizing the app. She didn't even know when the cut off was for us to be charged for the room. Upon arrival we were informed they didn't have any extra pillows or blankets, which for us was not helpful at all. They stated they can't actually see the requests that we put through on the app. What is The point Of this option on the app? I suspect this falls into the laziness/didn't do my job category. We got to the room, had to shuffle kids around and found out that there were NO protectors on any of the mattresses. That is a hygiene issue. Then the master shower leaked all over the floor. Neither bathroom sink would drain. They plugged up if you used water. The electrical plugs to the breakfast bar area were broken enough that any child could stick their finger in and get electrocuted and beside the entry door there was old coffee spilled all over the wall and baseboard. There was rust on the vent covers, and the whole room had the essence of lack of cleanliness and maintenance. The next morning, attempting to go back from breakfast the Elevator door (whose panel was falling off on the inside) closed on our 9 year old and the emergency stop did not activate. We had to rush to pull her in. If I had to sum it all up in one sentence the staff was too lazy to provide good customer service and they cleaned and maintained the facility in the same manner. Stay at your own risk.
