Great quiet spot to stay friendly staff great amenities.

This is the second time we have stayed here. Very relaxing, friendly staff who provide very welcoming and friendly service, the pool was great, the restaurant was also great with awesome food for both young and old.

This is close to the best motel we've ever stayed in. The rooms are large; clean, roomy bathroom and everything you need for a night or two stay. We give it a 5 out of 5.

Great atmosphere and staff.

I liked the room the bath was nice and hot. The bed was warm and I slept well. Only thing not good was internet access.

Feeling very disappointment at the ipswich country motel.
The bathroom has mould on the roof. The main bedroom lights don’t work.
The function centre cost me $1, 665.00 from 5pm till 1045. Could not supply milk for the complimentary tea and coffee.
We gave the event coordinator a number of 90 guests for the food platters, they told me that it would be enough food… there was no were near enough food… 5 platters with more lettuce then food… this place has got a zero star from myself… the only reason we took this place was because of outer state guests… I WILL NOT… be having any future functions at this place… please do not waist your money at this place…

The service is great. The food was brilliant, the rooms were very comfortable. The staff were very helpful. I definitely recommend everyone to stay, you will not be disappointed. Thanks guys especially Pauline.

My mother and I recently stayed in Room 4. The position of the room was nice and quiet. Booking online was easy, check in efficient, room was spotless, beds and pillows VERY comfortable, linen high quality, shower was hot fast and shower head was powerful. Basic toiletries in bathroom (soap, shampoo, conditioner). Microwave, toaster, kettle, basic cutlery and crockery in room, so you could eat in your room comfortably if you wanted. They request you wash these item after using (otherwise you incur a surcharge for the cleaning). I think this is perfectly fair as most motels don't provide any facility for you to eat in your room so they are at least giving you the option. We decided to have dinner in the onsite restaurant which was very reasonably priced (akin to pub/tavern prices). Good varied options, I had a pork cutlet which was cooked to perfection, moist and pink. My mother had a stuffed chicken breast which was delicious. Included in our rate for the night was a continental breakfast served in the restaurant buffet style. Simple but tasty and fresh (cereal, toast, spreads, fruit, yoghurt, tea, coffee, juice). At all times the staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again.

Good location but beds are like sleeping on planks of wood and walls are so thin you can hear everything so didn't get much sleep and we had 2 small children that kept waking up from all the noise of doors, tvs and people talking everynight. This place looks nice in pictures and as you drive in and that's where its stops being good!

Had a lovely week ling stay here with my gf and bub catching up with our mate and this motel was peefect! Staff friendly, food great, n reasonable prices. Will stay again next visit to QLD the sunshine state.

Hosted our wedding and everything was great. Food was great, staff were great, rooms were great.

Enjoyed our stay. Rooms are a decent size as is bathroom and tiolet area. Camp style kitchen a bonus next to pool area. Good value for money. Local shops across the road very handy.

Wow our room is massive and even better it is spotless. The restaurant is quaint and unassuming and the food is AMAZING, I had the salmon and I wouldn’t normally eat the skin but I did with this and those little sweet potato fries… yum. I would definitely recommend this place for food and accommodation.

Looked clean enough I just didn't like the air freshener smell.

Went there for a aniversery and the staff and cooks went out and bejond their way to make my mum and dads diamond wediing a smash hit i would recondmend without hesatation anyone going for a good meal to give them a go colin.

Visited someone staying there. Rooms seemed nice enough but the smell of "air freshener" was sickening. Nothing fresh about aerosol spray.

A great place to stay. The family room was divided into two seperate rooms adjoining, with a double bed and single in one and x3 singles in the other. The beds were large and comfortable. The bed linen was clean and smelt freshly laundered. The bathroom facility was spacious and had great lighting/heating and had an extractor. The family room was very big and accommodated 5 large adults comfortably. There were two TV's in the both rooms for entertainment. The air conditioner was quiet and cooled quickly. The windows were large and provided lots of natural light. The bar fridge was stocked with goodies to purchase. There was no sink to wash dishes other than rinsing them in the bathroom which is unusual and not hygienic but the only fault discovered whilst staying there. The room had a kettle a toaster, and a microwave for kitchen appliances. The laundry was open for public use all day and night. You needed $4 in $1 coins to operate the washing machine and your own washing powder. The dryer took $4 in $1 coins but required $8 in total to have a small load of clothes dried. Management were able to provide $1 coins during operational hrs. The car park area was clean and under cover. The entertainment area consisted of an extremely large pool and a very open and easy to use communal BBQ area. The grounds were well maintained and the operator was professional, polite and very welcoming.

Clean rooms and friendly staff. Not the most practical of rooms with no fans and an air conditioner in the main area that struggles to push cool air into the bedroom. Also prone to hearing people who are sitting outside. Good though for a quick stay.

Great motel, very comfy bed and plenty of space in the room. 24hr check in. Nice pool area.

Stayed there before and was reasonable price and clean but this time staff were less accommodating too expensive for what it is. Didn't like the $20 charge if you don't wash up! New owners?

Very nice staff and wonderful pool / BBQ area. Rooms were overall good and big enough for 2-3 persons, but there were some edges here and there which seemed like they weren't cleaned for some time. Included Breakfast was a minimum with coffee, toast and cereals, but we did expect it so we were fine. However, I would highly recommend the motel! The staff is just great and so helpful. Overall room quality and cleaness is good and BBQ / pool area is a big plus.

We held our wedding here last Saturday and ALL the staff were friendly, so lovely to deal with and couldn’t do enough to help us. A BIG shout out to Jo for all her extra hard work, help and advice… she was amazing! Wonderful teamwork by all involved and we can’t thank you enough for helping make our wedding day so perfect.

People are awesome, jo, Paula, charlotte, and the other girls, cooks never let me down, chilled atmosphere and rooms are crisp!

Easy to find, quiet location, clean comfortable amenities.

Had dinner in their Medium Rare Char Grill and Bar. Great food. Awesome service and a lovely quiet atmosphere. Highly recomended.

Nice and basic and has a free breakfast of bevarages toast and cereal. Clean tidy room.

This is the best fish & chip shop in Ipswich great value for money you ask for a serving of chips and get enough for 3 people I have never received that amount anywhere the fish is all ways fresh & well cooked, the staff are very friendly & helpful it's now the only place we go for fish, chips & burgers they even supply vegetarian burgers.

The fish and chips are great with the fish being a very generous size and dagwood dogs always good too.

A serve of chips for $3.50 is always a favourite. A very large range of food to select from and a few fully stocked fridges to compliment.

Love there sweet and sour pork great value for money.

Being a regular customer for over 2 years, I always get Great Service & Great Food All at realistic prices. Job Well Done to All Management & Staff. Thank you Pez :}

I frequently order take-away and am always delighted. There is ample meat in every dish, and the soup is to die for (having been unwell recently, I have relied on their food, & always order several wonton soups to spoil myself for the next few meals). Perhaps a treasure many have yet to discover. … give it a try, I promise you'll keep coming back!
