This has become our favorite weekend getaway place to stay and relax. Convenient and comfortable. Large suite, spa and free hot breakfast. Bed's are too firm for our taste but everything else makes up for it.

The young lady that checked us in was just exceptional.
This hotel far exceeded my expectations.

This place is beautiful and very clean, close to so many restaurants, shopping and things to do for my 2 boys 8 & 11! Katie and the front dest was so great with helping us and finding things to do while visiting Oklahoma City.

It is a nice hotel. Breakfast was good as well. Staff was attentive. The only complaint — they not always check coffeemaker.

8.19.18 stayed the night after long flight including 5 hour delay and over 24 hours no sleep. Kind employees, very nice set up, scenery makes you feel like your on a tropical island Wish we could stay longer. Thank You 5 stars.

Check in was a breeze! Raquel was very pleasant, friendly and welcoming. We stayed in executive suite 216 upon entering the room one of the first things we noticed was how very clean and crisp everything was. The air worked great, the bed was comfortable, great satellite TV with lots of channels even premiums, towels were of great quality plus nice and bright, carpet was new, sectional couch was comfy, The breakfast was okay, wish they had more healthy options but it was as expected for continental. The only complaint I have is the pool was filthy! They may need to fire the person who’s in charge of cleaning the pool. Aside that, overall our stay was great! Especially for the price. We will definitely go back next time we’re traveling through Oklahoma City, Ok. Thanks for everything Raquel, you’re awesome!

The hotel was fairly clean and most of the employees were nice. The pool was dirty. It was filled with leaves, bugs, and dirt. I let the front desk manager know and all she did was scrape up a few leaves and left. They kicked people out of the lobby at 9:30 claiming it was a closed area which makes no sense. They also went around knocking on customers doors letting them know it was almost 9:30 as if we were suppose to get ready for bed. I will definitely not ever go back to this hotel again.

The best front desk staffs. Very roomy and comfortable. Close to lots of restaurants and airport.

Great place. Clean, Great staff, not a Ritz but a solid hotel at a great value which as a business traveler I appreciate.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, good location.

Rooms were clean and spacious, although we did stay in a suite. They were friendly and accommodating, and made sure we had everything we needed. Decent breakfast spread — pastries, waffles, eggs, biscuits, gravy, etc. We will likely return! It is important to note the couches in the suites do not pull out into beds — assumed so and learned the hard way.

Awesome hotel! Very friendly staff, clean big rooms, great breakfast, nice hot tub. Definitely will come back here next time I visit OKC.

The hotel is adorable! The room was extremely spacious. The staff was so friendly and professional! I’d recommend this hotel to any, and this will be my hotel of choice when I’m in town!

My husband is a smoker and I find it increasingly difficult to find decent hotels that still offer a few smoking rooms. I was happy to find the Governor's Suites Hotel, near the Oklahoma City airport and right off of Highway 40, and it offered smoking rooms. I didn't expect much and was very pleasantly surprised. The hotel is attractive and in excellent repair. Our room was clean and large with a very comfortable bed and pillows and a separate living area. I was happy to find a refrigerator with freezer, coffee maker and microwave. The hot tub and steam room were functional and attractive. The hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful and breakfast in the morning was a plus. All of this was at an extremely reasonable price.

Friendly front desk staff, nice clean rooms, excellent breakfast. I had a good night's sleep here and was happy to come back.

We always stay in room 301 and we love this place. SO clean, STAFF is very friendly, all the way down to housekeeping. Comfortable beds hot showers and amazing breakfast. We have stayed in several hotels. But now this is our home we have stayed 4x in room301 and will NEVER STAY ANYWHERE ELSE. So governors is a 10 star hotel in my book⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐holly and charlie vaughan.

Excellent service, I was checking in and had to sit down because of my disability, Ken at the front desk brought me my check in paperwork and handheld everything from my lobby chair I was very impressed as I did not ask him to do that, clean rooms and good breakfast.

I come to OKC once a month and I stay At Governor’s Suite’s OKC each time. It starts with the staff and the Manager, Raquel (whose name I hope I didn’t mess up too bad spelling it) she is the one why we keep coming back each and every time. Then there’s the rooms. They’re clean and modern with a touch of home. My kids love it there. Just this morning we saw Raquel and my boys mentioned how much they like her.

Somewhat dated but still fairly nice. I liked the trees and plantings in the atruim. Clean and well maintained.

We stayed here traveling from Mississippi to New Mexico it was halfway, best choice ever. Customer Service was great, room was excellent maintained and clean. I can tell management is trying very hard to make this place be above and beyond average. Nice towels, bed linens same as big and expensive hotel chains, good quality toiletries and amenities, big and comfortable suite, good breakfast. We will definitely stay here again if we pass through Oklahoma City.

Great independent hotel in SW OKC with clean rooms, comfortable beds, friendly staff, and a decent breakfast at good price!

Stayed at many hotels and by far this was one of the best. Well lit parking lot, friendly staff and clean rooms, good job manager and team.

This was such a nice hotel! Great breakfast! Very pretty inside with lots of tropical foliage around the breakfast buffet area. Room was large and very reasonable price. Young lady at front desk was friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this hotel!

Really nice ace. Seems older, but well kept. Has a classic feel about it. Place was clean, no bugs. Air worked really well. Fantastic value for the deal we got. Highly recommended!

What overall great experience. The atrium is great as well as the overall decor. An older building that shows it's age well and is still cleaner than alot of brand new hotels I've been in.

Large, clean and spacious rooms. Nice people at front desk, breakfast was ok, and you can tell management of making effort to take care of customers. Internet could be better. Outside appears out-of-town, don't let the looks fool you. Quiet and comfortable, and I would recommend this hotel to others… I plan to stay again soon.

Love the old, new comfort of this hotel. Beds were Amazing! Breakfast was wonderful! We upgraded to the suite and weren't disappointed at all! Highly recommended!

Lovely hotel! Staff is very kind and the rooms were large and clean. The jacuzzi (hot tub) was clean and perfectly warmed. The pool outside was lovely. Sad the sauna was down during our stay but the free breakfast made up for that!

We were desperate for a room after a tornado knocked out power to many. We found Governors Suites online and took a chance. It was a very good choice. This is a nice property. It has three floors of rooms around a large internal atrium, which is very pleasant. The atrium is a nice place to sit and have coffee The property is in good shape with modern facilities. The rooms are very large — suites with a good sized bedroom niche, a couch and coffee table, and a desk with a side tabler. There is also a decent sized refrigerator and freezer in the kitchen area. The staff is friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend this hotel!

Big rooms, very comfortable bed, clean, iron, refrigerator, coffee maker and a lot of furniture to put my stuff. The hotel offers free Wi-Fi, hot tub, pool and free breakfast. It's great and the staff also is nice. The only negative thing about it is that the breakfast doesn't offer so much…

This place is by far the worse. Smells really bad, rooms look old. If you like motel 6 this is the place for you at a higher price. Will never book in this place again. I still dont know how people has rate this place over 4 starts. Not even closed to 2.

This by far is the nicest hotel where you can smoke, enjoy the hot tub. The breakfast is very good. My husband and I frequently visit just to get away. I recommend it. The staff is nice the rooms are great and the beds are so comfy.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED: Excellent facility. Extremely clean. The staff introduce themselves and shake your hand. The staff goes above and beyond to help and ensure your stay is amazing. The beds and pillows are wonderful. Love the suites — living room area, kitchenette, and separate bedroom. Bathroom and shower are separate from the sink and dressing area. I have stayed here several times and have never been disappointed. Breakfast is hot, fresh, and filling.

The location was great! Room was clean! Service was great! There were some ants in the bathroom tho, however the staff did say they were going to have it sprayed again! They were nice about it.

Have stayed here twice. Once was during renovation and once several months ago. Great rooms. Friendly, helpful staff. Good breakfast choices. Never stay anywhere else when in OKC.

CLEAN COMFY AND QUITE! we stayed there for two night saw several people that were headed across the street to the cowboy bar. Was expecting to get woken up later after bar closed by drunk punks. But we didn't here a thing. Again clean comfy and quite.

My husband and I have stayed here twice, and really enjoyed it. Rooms were very pleasant and we like the living room/bedroom plan It was like a small apartment. Bathroom was very spacious. Desk clerks were all pleasant and friendly. We plan to stay here again in a few days from now. Hot breakfast was great.

A very decent experience I have to say. I was expecting g the worst from all the reviews I read, bit this hotel was nothing g like that. There was some people upgrading rooms but nothing that bothered us on this trip. About the room the hotel seems pretty old and I don't think small renovations will change this. Overall a decent stay nothing to good or to bad.

The people are very nice but this place is one star at best. It is very old and outdated. The place is cheap for a reason. If you are a family spend the extra money (may be 10 bucks) and stay down the street at the Hyatt.

Not the nicest place I've ever stayed, not the worst either. Location for this trip is good. At least it appears clean.

We love to stay here. Always very nice. Quiet. Very peaceful and relaxing. I am not easily pleased and when my husband asks were I want to stay in OKC I always say the Governors Suites.
