We just stayed here for a quick trip and we can't stop talking about it. It was so cute and such a unique experience for us. The staff was so sweet and the room was very clean. The basket of treats was just the right touch. We're already planning our next trip back!

The rooms were so clean and the staff were friendly, helpful and accomodating. Loved our stay there and hope to stay there again on our next trip up to Murphy!

We love the sunset. Quaint little place where you feel like family. Great bar with amazing food within walking distance and a very nice restaurant across the street. Highly recommend.

I know that you'll probably think like the owner this review, but this place provides a delightful experience! From the picturesque location within walking distance of the historic downtown to the friendliness of the family-owned staff to the cleanliness of the room/surroundings to the other pleasing accommodations (including a community firepit and screened-in deck), the place IS as good as it gets! While all of this is important, what sets this place apart is the décor! The owner wanted a vibrant, 1960's look and she did it right! From the pictures on the wall to the multi colored chairs outside each room to the screened-in deck to the way the building itself is painted and surrounding fence is decorated, you can't help but be energized by your surroundings! Should your future travels take you anywhere near Murphy, including the casino which is just 10 minutes away, this is the place to stay!

Quaint retro style motel. Clean and quiet. Walking distance to downtown, shopping, fine dining and the river walk. A great find.

Very cool place… owners are great and helpful… walk to everything in old town Murphy… rooms are small but have everything you need — — good TV, cable and internet. Love the communal screen porch/library where you can visit fellow travelers. Best part is to sit in front of the room in late afternoon and bask in the setting sun while reading or taking a nap! Thanks Teri for taking visitors back to the days of the family run, friendly Route 66-esque motel. I will return!

Best place to stay in Murphy North Carolina, it's clean clean, Good people best price for weekend stay &There's a restaurant 5min away call (BURGER BOYS) — THE BEST HOME MADE HAMBURGERS IN ANY RESTAURANT I HAVE EVER HAD.

Great little motel. I got exactly what I needed — clean room, nice bathroom, quiet, good bed. It's been fairly recently updated. It's in a cool little town (Murphy) in a valley on the way through from Asheville to Chattanooga. I got some kind of weekend special that included a nice basket of fruit and granola bars that I worked on for the rest of my trip. Solid place.

Super cute little retro style motel. Very clean and everything is up to date. There are also a few super friendly cats who hang around looking for scratches and attention, love them. You are in the downtown area, the main Street of the downtown shopping and dining area is just up the hill, super short walk. Also the Riverwalk, is just a 5-10 minute walk away. Very very cute and clean place, I highly recommend it.

Me and my wife usually stay at the casino but this weekend we took a chance and stayed here, couldn't be happier! Exceptionally nice staff, well lit parking lot, safe environment, cute decor, and even a cool screened in porch to sit on! Two nights here and did not see ONE bug anywhere! We will be back!

Lovely little family owned motel with retro theme and wonderful location! The owners are so nice, very friendly and helpful! The rooms are always clean and smell good! It's peaceful and quiet and safe. 10 stars, would recommend!

New owners, totally refurbished, from the parking lot all the way up to the ceilings in the rooms. Friendly and eager to make sure you have a good stay. And the price is great! And motorcycle friendly!

Terrible experience rude impolite not accomodating didnt provids cleaning services after one week accused use of mistreating rooms didnt supply us with welcome basket as all other guest recieved no hot water not helpful when it came to town activities … very very rude… I would never recommend this place to my worst enemy plus they have no wrkin Wi-Fi… I wouldn't even give it a 1 star if it wouldn't go thru ur hotel motel suxxxxx…

The wife and I stayed here this past week, and for the most part it was a good experience. Our biggest problem came in about 8 to 8:30 in the a. M. With somebody remodeling the house at all the the motel room next door, and they forgot to clean our room the night or the day before we actually left. The staff were very very apologetic over this and came in to fix the beds clean the floors and the countertops empty trash and anything that was not done I cannot say enough about the staff.

I had the chance to stay an extended weekend at your motel and I fell in love. Such amazing people there and it was the absolute cutest lil motel ever. Not one negitive thing at all about my stay I truely loved staying there. I'll be back for sure.

Nice little place. Clean. Great towels. A little traffic noise that night. I'd give them 4 stars if they were pet friendly. Receptionists we're extremely nice. Left bottled water for me in rooms fridge. I'd stay here again. Close to a lot of places.

This is honestly the best and nicest motel in the Murphy area. Straight up these folks went out of their way to help a complete stranger. Whenever I come back to town, I refuse to stay anywhere else. Kudos to the owners and their fine staff.

I am a Murphy local and I will tell you that I have seen what this hotel used to look like! I wouldn’t have let my dog stay there BUT recently I had family come in to town and they were on a budget and mentioned this motel and I said that it’s under new ownership and they have really fixed up the outside so it may be alright. They booked the motel and I asked if they cared if I looked in their room and they didn’t mind and I was absolutely shocked! This hotel has been total remodeled. It’s very nice to be a small mom and pop motel! The staff was very nice and helpful as well.
