Decent motel. Horrible pillows, ok mattress. Staff was ok. The smell of bleach was so over powering we had to leave the door open for hours.

Horrible customer service, DON'T STAY HERE. — we made reservations and had everything set up for 1 pet, 2 rooms, on 1st floor. "Lisa" tells us they don't allow pets, the red no elevator, pops an attitude when we are standing waiting to get checked in while she answers the phone instead of taking care of the people standing in front of her, then LIED about not allowing pets when she says "well, I've got a king room available with a pet". She was rude, lied, and couldn't handle 1check out, 1 attempted check in, and 1 phone call in 30 minutes. Then has the gall to say "I've been in this business 30 years", as if that's an excuse for being so rude. Here's a tip — if you stuck at your job after 30 years of doing it, get out!

Puppy friendly. After a deposit. Clean and friendly staff. This is our favorite Murphy motel.

Good value. Could use some up dating. But always clean. I stay here whenever I'm in the area.

The room was Immaculate and I loved the whirlpool tub. The bed was awesome memory foam and I slept like a baby. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling through the area but get a shower early because it did get a little bit cool around 9:30 a. M. But yes I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Very very clean awesome breakfast the pool is amazing and some of the staff is outstanding great for the money you pay.

This experience is not related to the hotel itself, but reflects on the staff and management. I was called in for an interview and the manager said she would let me know if I got the job within the week. At the end of the week I never received a call. I called several times to check in on the status of my interview and each time the front desk clerk too down my contact information and said they would let the manager know I was still interested. No one ever called me back and I drove down there to speak with the manager twice and the front desk clerk always said she was too busy to speak with me and they would let her know I stopped by. Im not upset that I did not get the job, but they could have let me know one way or another, returned my calls, or had the respect to speak with me when I dorve down there instead of just wasting my time and gas.

People were nice, hotel was clean. No problems, I would stay there again.

The batroom was messy. The morning breakfast wasn't breakfast just cereal and brean with coffee. No eggs. No sausage. No waffles. No nothing.

Enjoyed our stay here very much. The staff was very kind and very helpful. I had one issue with the Wi-Fi and the lady in the office was able to help me very quickly. My only complaint is that we are in a room that you can have pets in and it smells a bit like you're in. Other than that I would stay here again. Also it was advertised is having an indoor pool and it is actually an outdoor pool.

Stayed in room 240. Hair in floor and tub. Used towel behind door. Dust on everything. Stain on pillow. Mold in shower. Will never stay again.

Stayed here twice. Both times we reserved room with credit card, was told I could pay cash on arrival. Did so and still billed credit card. Got It reversed but took nearly a month. First time I reserved a smoking room, upon arrival they said I didnt and they had no other vacancy. Went back in office to ask about ice, they were checking in someone else with no reservations… In a smoking room. Next trip made reservations over the phone was quoted one price on the phone and charged more on arrival. Best Western is only a few bucks more, same price with reward discounts, much nicer and cleaner rooms. More friendly and honest. Even without discounts well worth the slight difference. Be warned they lie!

Great service, very clean room. Room was so quiet you could almost close your eyes and forget that you are in a motel in the middle of town.

We just recently stayed at the Days Inn in Murphy NC while visiting relatives. I have to say I was a bit worried with some of the reviews I had seen. However we had a very pleasant experience. Room was the size and layout of what you'd expect of a Days Inn, or any budget friendly Motel. It was very clean, lots of towels, complimentary soaps and make-up remover, in room coffee/tea, fridge microwave etc. All the staff we encountered over the 3 nights were very pleasant and helpful. The free breakfast in the morning was decent, bagels, cereal, fresh fruit, yogurt, toast, toaster waffles, juice, 24hr coffee etc. The pool was clean, but pretty cool considering it was the end of July. I could definitely see the pool season being pretty short since it doesn't seem like it's heated. But it was nice to have a pool for the kids and was the main draw to stay here on this trip. I will say that we were here during the week, not weekend, and when we checked in on sunday, was told they were fully booked the night before. We may of had a different experience if it was fully booked, but as far as our stay it was great! We will definitely be back anytime we visit in the summer so the kids can swim during our stay.

Wonderful and friendly accommodating staff, stayed overnight at the hotel for a company retreat held in Murphy. Hotel was reasonably priced and clean. Would stay again.

Was a great little hotel. The staff was very nice and the room was huge. However my non smokong room smelled of smoke.

The gentleman behind the counter when I walked in at 1am was very alert, mannered, and friendly. The room was spotless and surprisingly spacious. The shower had remarkably high water pressure. The pillows were plentiful and comfy. Upon check out at 6am I found the breakfast to be more varied than most continentals, and the coffee proved powerful despite tasting regular.

Terrible customer service. When there was a problem, the owner tried to pass himself off as a "manager" who did not have the authority to resolve the problem. It was another employee who later identified him as the owner. I will never choose this hotel again… there is no integrity.

I stayed at the Days Inn in Murphy in early November on a night where the temperatures fell to at least freezing, if not lower. The heat in my room was broken. I went and talked to management, who told me there was no vacancy, so I was stuck. He also refused to offer me any discounts or to just refund my money so I could stay somewhere else where I would not freeze. He did offer 2 extra blankets. Unacceptable. If you cannot provide me a room with HEAT, please just refund me so I can sleep at a place that can!
