Very disappointed in this hotel. I have stayed at days inn's other locations before and this is by far the worst one. First when I initially checked in I was assigned a room and when I walked into this room it was so hot I tried turning on the AC unit just to find out it didn't work and the hotel had put a little dirty fan on the table, then the toilet seat was broken, and tub wasn't clean. When I called yo the front desk the young lady was very apologetic and gave me another room. The reassigned room was better yes but still disappointing it was a very noticeable hole in the wall with wiring coming out and there was no need for a coffee pot to be there because there was no coffee, sugar, or cups. Not an experience I expected at all…

Check in was simple. NOT friendly boardering rude, as if my arrival was an inconvenience. I drove for 9 hrs for a funeral (24yo step son) so I was exhausted, crying a little and she seemed very annoyed that I wasn't moving quickly. Having a hospitality background & Wyndam being one of my favorite places I was let down by the service. The rooms were mediocre, not Wyndam-ish. There was duct tape on the door jamb… for was very difficult to lock. Positives, nice breakfast if you eat carbs, beds were comfy, linens were nice, convenient to I-95, the housekeeping staff were sweet and rooms were pretty clean. First impressions SUCKED and unfortunately that is what sticks.

Friendly and quiet some rooms need updating due to carpet makes room smell musky other than that ok.

It was dirty there was mold on the shower curtain. Non smoking room smelled like smoke. Waffles were good at the breakfast.

Disgusting Place. Cockroaches under the blanket on the bed.

The bathroom was not clean, there was what looked like boogers and poop on the bathroom wall. The beds were very hard and we arrived at this hotel at 4:30 in the morning and were charged $90 with taxes included to have to check out by 11. Not worth it at all!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Days Inn in Lumberton, NC. The staff was very warm and welcoming. I will admit… I would have liked to see more artwork on the walls. Overall I would stay again and I would recommend. Thanks Days Inn.

Great price for a overnight stay but we booked a room for 5 and it did not fit 5. It was a non smoking room but the one bed cover had a cig. Burn. We also found a cock roach in the bathroom,

I reserved a room at the Days Inn in Lumberton NC. After reading a negative review before going there, I was going to change my mind but fugured I’d check for myself because I had already paid. I’m glad I did. My room was clean, the TV worked good, and the bed was VERY comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.

Had got a king size room for me and my wife trying to be romantic. The room was horrible the mattress u can tell was old one side was lower and dipping in. The sink handle came off not allowing us to turn on the water properly. The shower wouldn't come on properly. One of the worst days in we ever been to. Only thing good was the hostess at the front desk. She was very nice.

Nice room but had roaches. Nothing a good exterminator can't handle.

We have had a wonderful experience here during our stay while escaping from the ice and snow storms this week. All of our needs were cheerfully met.

Worst days inn out of all the days inns I've stayed at! heater in room didn't work controls loose & broken old unit. breakfast was atrocious! juice was all water. Desk clerk couldn't fix machine because he said there was an air leak. When I said air leak he thought I didn't believe him. Clerk was rude therefore & told me he didn't care if I called customer service to complain. He didn't seem to be concerned about these problems because he said he had 3 desk clerks to train. Coffee was luke warm. very below standard of what I've come to expect at Days, Inn. Contacted customer service for refund claim. Will never stay at this Days, Inn ever again!

This place is absolutely disgusting. My boyfriend and I traveled from Greensboro to visit family. The sheets were nasty and the front desk receptions had an attitude when asked if we could get clean linen. Instead she puts us in a room with the scent of alcohol and cigarettes, both rooms looked like no one has cleaned them after at least 2 families used them. The showers were dirty the furniture is dirty like no one wiped them down. White stains and food stains. I would never recommend this place to no one. Oh, and if you try using the appliances be careful you'll end up blowing all the electricity out. Total nightmare. The only people who say anything good about this place are the locals for obvious reasons. When we asked for a refund the attendants explained they couldn't help and couldn't give us a time when the manager would come in.

Another motel having laminate wood floors instead of carpet, not a bad thing if they would dust the floor between guests. I don't usually walk on motel floors anyway without socks, my new clean white socks were NOT clean and white after walking around. Only one place to eat nearby, Mexican food. Breakfast room left a lot to be desired, cereal and waffles and donuts was about it for choices. Don't like coffee in styrofoam. So I left. No phone in room. Used my cell to call front desk to ask a question.

Not following proper instructions to guest accusations and accused the guest of not hearing them say, they'll for somewhere else to stay. Yet, was charged for 2 rooms, on the guests credit card. Encouraging others in advance.

Booked a King Size room bc I needed a place for my handicapped parent to sit. Room description said there was a sofa, and at checkin the hotel attendant confirmed a sofa is there but they don't provide linen for it, which is fine. Went to the room, but there was NO SOFA in there only a desk with chair… room 102. I went back to the front desk, told the attendant that there was no sofa in it, and she said that they must've changed it out of there without informing her. They had no other rooms available, and I desperately needed to find a room elsewhere to meet my needs. Found a hotel in town with 1 room available, so had to run over there to snag it before another holiday guest grabbed it. After securing our new room across town, we came back to cancel our reservation there, since the room did NOT have the sofa that was needed. Was told they could not refund any money from that stay bc of the amount of time we were "in the room according to the hotel agreement"… even though we technically were no in the room for that amount of time. Disappointing, mainly bc the room description did not match the room we received. I'm sure they have that covered in their "hotel agreement" as well. Last time I'll try to stay at a Days Inn again.

Check in girl kept eating ice cubes and spoke so fast you couldn't understand what she was saying. Got to room and door was open. Had to slam door shut and it didn't seal tight. Floor and beds we're newer but that was about the only good thing. Toilet seat didn't fit properly. Hair dryer plug was cracked. Caulk was all over outlets and fixtures. Stain in bath tub. Cockroaches outside unit. Was afraid to fall asleep, room didn't feel safe.

Renovation going on. New very comfortable beds. New bathroom fixtures and counters. Would stay again.

Sheets dirty… carpet dirty… Headboard came off the wall and could have hit my kids.

Simply the worst. My sister got rob while she went to grab "breakfast" (old coffee and donuts from 3 days ago) and "hotel" policy won't allow to see the security cameras until Monday… what a joke! My sis called the Police, but they can't do anything until they see the video footage. Worst decision ever. For your safety DO NOT STAY HERE!

The most horrible of places. Gotten eaten alive by something in the bed. Never slept. Filthy toilet. Filthy carpets. Broken dresser drawers. Cigarette ashes on a chair in a non-smoking room. Old coffee still in the coffee pot from God knows when. Really gross. The guy at front desk could have cared less about my complaint. Still itching. Awful.

Goodness, the place was a mess, had to go back to the office three times to get new rooms. First was filthy, second smell horrible, third was doable for one night and then we promptly changed our reservation to another hotel. They are under renovation and didn't even bother to tell us.

Dear lord this was far the worse hotel, beds were dirty, microwave, even toilet as if the room was never cleaned, I could not have my kids sleep in that, I went down to front desk and ask for a diferent room it was midnight we were passing by and were tired, the lady said if I wanted a diferent room or refund I said we were too tired to find another hoyel my son was tired and crying we got another room and it was dirty again we striped the beds and sleeped with our coats. It was horrible thank God I took clorox wipes it was a life saver. I dont know how someone can have a hotel open like those conditions it should be closed I sure dont think it meets any state standards or law… Im warning you guys be aware.

Truly the worst hotel experience ever… people live in the back rooms and the constant car activities suggest drug dealing… the kids . Who live here mind you … rule the place with no adult supervision. So happy I brought my own pillows … this is gross by even the lowest standards.

Horrible. Walked into our room and flys everywhere. Ac wouldn't turn on. Finally got to change rooms and before we even opened the door you can see huge bugs flying around the curtains. Complained to the lady and got my money back. Worst hotel experience.

I hated this room, it was disgusting Room 110, felt like vomiting smelled so much, this has to be the worst Days Inn ever.

This really is as another reviewer stated, a horror. Room was smelly and dated. Couldnt get rid of the odor even with air freshener. Stuff on walls I dont even want to describe. There were roaches which is an automatic "Nope not staying here". Filthy stained couches. Smoke detectors hanging off wall. Bedside lights did not work and were very loose. Very high creepy factor. The lady at the desk acted as if all this was news. Bad actress.

Horrible, horrible, horrible. This hotel is a horror. My husband and I booked thru the days inn website. We subsequently modified our reservation by 2 days due to a medical issue. We received a confirmation showing the modification. When we arrived at the hotel, the very nasty desk person claimed she had never received the modification. She was arrogant, rude, and kept stating over and over that the error wasn't her problem despite the fact that I had the modification confirmation on my smartphone. She called "headquarters" and I was put on the phone with someone who didn't even speak english. Finally, she agreed to "do me a favor" and let me have a room. By this point, I was having chest pains! I have never, ever been treated so badly by a front desk person. She was a witch and should absolutely never be allowed to deal with people. When we asked to speak with a manager, she claimed he was unavailable. Then 5 minutes later, pointed him out to us! I will never use this hotel again. My husband and I travel back and forth to Florida several times of year. We'll stay anywhere but this hotel. I'd rather sleep on a park bench. The room smelled of mold. There was a leak from the bathroom above ours into our 1st room (they put us in another one), the room was filthy, the blankets were dirty and had holes in them.

Stayed mid-June 2013. It was old, musty, and not the nicest place. That said, you get what you're willing to pay for and I can't really say there were any real problems. The staff was nice.

Worst Days Inn I have ever stayed at. I paid for a room with two doubles and when I got to the room it had one king bed. I went back to the front desk and she gave me another room. The second attempt turned into a room full of painting supplies. My third attempt I just gave up as I was extremely tired and just wanted to sleep. The rooms smell terrible. Bathrooms are not very clean. Carpets are very dingy. Decor is old. Don't waste your money here! There are lots of other hotels in the area.

Checked in and checked out within 2 mins. Black dirt ring around the drain in the tub, the one piece of furniture that was in the room had black spots like a dalmatian dog, smelled like death and moth balls, and there were huge 18 wheelers in the parking lot taking up parking. Do not waste your time or money.

Spend $10 more and go elsewhere. Your back will thank you. This place is ultra dumpy and cheap, yet still costs $70 a night. Loud rooms with broken TVs and decor leftover from my grandma's house. Worse than motel 6.
