Review of Clarion Inn 2*

Horrible, horrible, horrible. This hotel is a horror. My husband and I booked thru the days inn website. We subsequently modified our reservation by 2 days due to a medical issue. We received a confirmation showing the modification. When we arrived at the hotel, the very nasty desk person claimed she had never received the modification. She was arrogant, rude, and kept stating over and over that the error wasn't her problem despite the fact that I had the modification confirmation on my smartphone. She called "headquarters" and I was put on the phone with someone who didn't even speak english. Finally, she agreed to "do me a favor" and let me have a room. By this point, I was having chest pains! I have never, ever been treated so badly by a front desk person. She was a witch and should absolutely never be allowed to deal with people. When we asked to speak with a manager, she claimed he was unavailable. Then 5 minutes later, pointed him out to us! I will never use this hotel again. My husband and I travel back and forth to Florida several times of year. We'll stay anywhere but this hotel. I'd rather sleep on a park bench. The room smelled of mold. There was a leak from the bathroom above ours into our 1st room (they put us in another one), the room was filthy, the blankets were dirty and had holes in them. And for that, I was screamed at by BECKY the horrific front desk person and to top it all off, I was charged $20 more than I had originally agreed to when I booked the room. Do not stay at this hotel. I know I never will again.
