Anyone who gave this hotel a good review must be related to the owner. The owner of the comfort inn chain should be ashamed to charge money to stay here. Dirty sheets, no elevator, chipped paint, dirty carpet, musty smell, old and very dated decor. Stay away!

Helpful and friendly staff. You can engage them and they connect with you well. The rooms are OK. Have been here at least 3 times as far as I recall because we have a business event in the area. Tried the outside pool too with friends but we were reported to management by someone for having loud radio on. We understand. But on the overall, this place is value laden for the money you pay. It's not at all fancy, and that's not bad.

Great place to be when you take your pet. I was very pleased with hotel room.

The rooms need to have 2 queen sized beds, instead of 2 double beds, as it was tight quarters for our family of 5, and no opportunity for a cot.

It was nice overall, but I had to wait 45 minutes to get checked in because only 1 person was working the desk and someone was having some sort of problem. It was definitely a wet blanket on the experience, but not bad overall.

The room was clean. It was affordable.

Not happy with being accused of smoking in the room when myself and my husband were clearly seen going outside to smoke. We found out when we checked our credit card. It seems to me travelers using booking sites and credit cards are perfect candidates for being overcharged and accused of smoking in the room. Will not be returning because we never smoked in the hotel room yet were overcharged 150.00 for openly smoking on premises.

The rooms were clean, not as modern as some but very well maintained. The staff (ALL OF THEM) including house keeping could not have been any nicer. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again if in the area.

I'm not picking favorites here,. But. Out of three Hotels in 3 nights. The Comfort inn has done well, making our stay a pleasant one. Short check in. Not alot of complicated rules. A decent breakfast. Always Friendly! And patient! Thanks!

SCAMMERS! This hotel took over $400 after I cancelled through booking and they are claiming that we never cancelled and never showed up to check in, even though we have a cancellation number. DO NOT STAY HERE, they will take your money even if you have an emergency situation and need to cancel.

This is a good location close to High Point University. It was the best bargain for the area, but the facility was not well maintained. The hallway had a cigarette odor and the room contained a slight dingy odor. Our first room did not have a working toilet, but we were moved to another room. The front desk staff was not very friendly and did not make us feel welcomed.

Nice. Soft beds, clean, actual cable not TV with a box not the basic bs. 5stars.

The staff was nice the room was clean and I got a good notes sleep.

FURNITURE MARKET TRAVELERS BEWARE! So I live locally and our pump went out in our well. I booked online and really just wanted my family and I to get a shower and a good night's rest. I get to the hotel and was told that I was not charged correctly on tax so they needed to charge me the difference. I was told it was $. 79. Ok, I am tired and just want a shower so I gave the lady my card. We get to the room which was very basic but ok. We begin to take showers and all a sudden the fire alarm is going off. I am panicing and telling my family to get dressed and run outside. Then the phone rings and it is the front desk telling me it is coming from my room. She asked was I smoking? Really, no! I said is there a fire? Like why are you questioning me on the phone when I need to be evacuating. With soaking wet hair and standing out int the cold with the other guests. The fire trucks come and I learn from a group of men that were staying there inform me that this was the 3 time this week this has happened. Supposedly the steam from showers is what is causing the alarms to go off. Now the lady that called me knew this had been happneing. They could have warned me of this prior to. It makes sense now why she found no issue with trying to keep me on the phone when a VERY loud alarm is going off. I called this morning asking for the General Manger and spoke with Julie. She was quick to first say they do not offer discounts or refunds. And let me knot forget that the $.

Patel owners are ruining this hotel; Wi-Fi doesn’t work, bad breakfast. Waffle House and McDs next door.

Service is great rooms need remodeling food is ok not great.

We arrived after midnighr, so we were exhausted. The night clerk quickly checked us in and was extremely kind and welcoming. The room was basic, but very clean, the bed was comfortable and my family and I slept well. The complimentary breakfast the next day was good, fresh and plentiful. All in all, a nice, pleasant experience.

Excellent service. Love the hot breakfast. Will stay here whenever I'm in area.

We got to our room at 10:30-11:00pm and received a phone call from the front desk to inform us that we were being too loud. All we were doing was putting our luggage away and getting ready for bed… ok no problem. At around 04:00-04:30 the fire alarms were going off and they told us that it was due to a guy guy getting a shower. A guy that was staying there often said it was a regular occurrence. The night clerk was not even making sure everyone was out of their room but since I had com to the door I had to vacate my room, in which she never gave us the all clear to return to our room. I was checking out the next morning and they weren’t even apologetic about what had happened so I seriously doubt that I will ever stay there again.

Par for thr course for a Comfort Inn. Friendly staff. Great overnight stay. My only problem was the Fitness Center. What a joke. The elliptical needs some WD-40; almost tore my knee on the treadmill because it jerked randomly. They need to get some new equipment or just get rid of the Fitness Center all together.

Hurricane Irma evacuees from FL. Came here yesterday from Asheville. Nice, clean room here. They allowed us to bring our cat. $25 fee. No problem. Used laundry facilities. Nice breakfast. Fridge and microwave in room. TV and free Wi-Fi. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Centrally located to restaurants/stores. We highly recommend. Right off Route 85.

The hotel says it is pet friendly, but they charge $25 per pet in order to share their hospitality with your pets. I had a bit of a bad first experience but overall, the stay was comfortable. My kids enjoyed the small pool and the breakfast was great.

This hotel is obviously dated. It doesn't have an elevator. That aside, the rooms are clean. The mattresses were not quite too our liking, but again we are very spoiled by our mattress at home. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is adequate with powdered eggs and sausage, as well as waffles you make yourself. Price wise, very good value for what you get.

Rooms are larger than the average. Beds are comfortable. My only issue so far, I'm 2 days in on a 6 day stay, is there is only one ice machine on my floor and it's on the end of a very long hallway. Most hotels I've stayed in alternate ends an each floor but not this one. All of them on same end of each floor.

I've always enjoyed my stays here. Comfortable beds, pretty decent breakfast. Its nice having a French Vanilla creamer option as opposed to cheaper hotels that only offer regular. The Wi-Fi is also pretty good. I have been able to use Netflix and YouTube with hardly any issues. It's a very clean motel, although I was disappointed when I found a roach in the bath tub. I have only stayed here 3 times so far and this being the first roach I've seen they're probably few and far between but if one has made its way to the top floor into a room I would assume there may be more in the kitchen and lobby. A bit unsettling to think there may have been roaches in the food.

Everything was clean, nothing broken, nice breakfast. Would stay again.

Rooms clean an nice, staff is rude an act like you are beneath them. Am in town to vist family and was told that I had to much traffic because my family came to vist me because I dont have a car, I was told the cops would be called or I would be asked to leave if they did not stop coming. Breakfast was great pool was great exercise room wonderful but because of the staff an all around bad experience.

Serviceable overnight stay while passing through town at an economical price.

They give me free Wi-Fi when I needed it without me having a room.

Room was nice. Air conditioning was weak and Internet had issues.

Our stay was very comfortable, the entire place was exceptionally clean and very friendly hard working staff. The breakfast was very good and again the people working in the kitchen were very friendly and focused on serving the customers. We will definitely be there again. Danny.

It looks new from the outside which lured me into checking into this motel. There are many other motels in the area like Hampton and Holiday Inn. I did not check their rates but I'm sure it's higher than Comfort Inn. Rate was a little bit less than what I pay at Best Western which I had no issues with. Location is very convenient, only few minutes from I85. Hotel is tucked away from the main road which is a plus. Fridge and Microwave in the room was a plus. Lady at the counter was very nice and polite. Now the bad; room is very dated and there was drill holes on the table, its in dire need of renovation. When I first entered the room, it smelled very musty and I did not like it at all. Carpet throughout the hotel hallway and rooms are very old and I am very alergic to dirty carpet. Bed was pretty comfortable but bathroom was very dated as well, and so was the heating/cooling system. Bed was comfortable but did not like the super white bulbs used on the lamps — — made it look very cheap. Gym had only 3 equipment and they were all very old and not gym quality — — they squeaked like crazy. Heating/cooling vents had lots of dust and I could not open the window; very bad for respiratory system while exercising. Overall, it was okay, would have been a lot better if the hotel was renovated. I doubt I will come back to this place.

The service here was very friendly. The lady at the front desk was helpful and took the time to have a conversation with us as we were checking in. The room was perfectly acceptable and we didn't have any issues.

Hotel is very dated. Needs lots of upgrades along with better housekeeping. I decided to give a Choice hotel a chance but I was reminded why I stay at Marriott and Hilton brand hotels. I'd rather pay a little extra to stay somewhere nice then stay at a hotel like this one where the owner could care less about hotel appearance. The air conditioner would only run a few minutes then cut off. The fan did no good either. The breakfast was very low quality and the juice machine was inoperable.

Booked this hotel because they had a great Tournament group rate. Free hot breakfast for the children was a plus. Rooms were very nice and clean. Will definitely stay again, when in the area, whether business or personal.

We booked a non-smoking room and got a SMOKER'S room. I really mean Smoker's Room too, it was so bad I had to literally sleep in the car on a 38degree night. They actually put a "Non-Smoking" sign in the room. Do they really think that after years of people smoking in the room a Non-Smoking Sign would get rid of the smell. I told them I was alergic to cigarette smoke, but they pretty much said, too bad. To add insult to injury, they offered NO COMPENSATION for the screw up. I've never in my life, asked for a refund or compensation for any hotel I've stayed in, I'm generally one that will put up with a lot, but this was too much. If you are a smoker, I'm sure you don't understand, but for those of us that are Non-Smokers, it was untolorable. Again, the do nothing attitude was the final straw. I just want everyone to know how these people operate. Aside from that, this was a below average hotel for the price.

After sitting on the bed for the first time, we were hit with a smell wafting up from the bedspread/mattress that smelled of years of B. O. We asked for additional cot and received one with the last person's dirty sheets. The front desk lady reluctantly replaced the sheets taking note of the pee stains. Not stain, but stains. They gave us 2 towels for 5 people. The "prestigious" workout room had some broken equipment and was not being properly cleaned. Evidence was the foul aroma. You might ask, "How could it smell so bad when you couldn't use the equipment? " And that would be a valid question. This is the first review I've ever written but it needed to be said.
