Very Clean Property in a Great Location.

Had a great stay here for a few nights. The hotel does lack some things like a pool but for what it was it was a great place to stay with a reasonable price for the area. Also I do agree with another post on here that the tvs are kind of in a awkward spot in the rooms but hey, all in all it is a great place to stay and I will say the staff here went above and beyond for my family thus why I'm giving the review… For sure would stay here again…

I felt it was a little pricey for a microtel but the rooms are not standard microtel sized rooms. The Jacuzzi suite was nice and the layout was excellent. However to our disappointment the double queen room did not have a fridge which I feel is basic and I have become very accustomed to having in hotel rooms.

It's decent for the price. Friendly staff and adequate breakfast choices. Give yourself plenty of time to get reservations because Bonaventure college always has something going on.

The room was fine. Very clean. Beds were very stiff to me, but everyone is different. No fridge in the room was a bit odd, and placement of the TV made it a bit awkward. Overall, fine.

A very typical hotel. The beds are not uncomfortable but not the most comfortable either. The amenities are few but the price is reasonable. The greatest flaw of this hotel is the parking. The lot in front of the hotel is tiny and fills up quick. Otherwise you have to go around the Dunkin Donuts and park in the back. Even back there fills up to capacity forcing you to park in the Dunkin Donuts parking lot. After you park behind the Dunkin Donuts its a bit of a walk to reach the lobby. Most hotels I've been to have parking surrounding the building in order to be close to a entrance. Not this one though. The only parking by an entrance is right in front and excluding the handicap spaces there are like five other spots to park.

Very nice and clean. You get coffee all day and that is a big plus. The staff are very welcoming and if you forget anything at home they dont charge extra to get it at the front desk. I was very pleased with my stay. Ill come back there and stay any time.

It was an ok place to stay. They tried to accomodate guests, but the ice maker was broken the entire week, and there didn't appear to be anything to resolve the issue. I had to go to the front desk to request ice. They did give me ice, but that is a work around, not an actual fix to the problem. The room was reasonably clean, but I had issues where there was hair tucked in the folded wash rag, and stains on the sheets.

This place was awesome when my son his fiance and my granddaughter needed a decent place to stay while they waited for their apartment to be available the guy was very decent the prices was reasonable the only downfall is if you do not have a vehicle it is quite a walk to town however they do have a Dollar General and a Crosby's up the road.

I really did enjoyed my stay here. I travel for a living, so I'm constantly in and out of Hotels. Friendly staff. Room was just right. Nice and clean. I like the island that separates the room from the living room. Think they could do a little more for breakfast. I would definitely recommend this Hotel.

Nice and affordable. Unless you're going for graduation. Then they raise the price.

Rooms were pretty small and kinda smelled like cigarette smoke. Thw gym was a joke, literally had a bike and a tredmil and that is it. Not much options with breakfast but you get what you pay for… is go back if it was my last case scenario but that's about it.

Where to start. Let's start with the basics. I paid just about $80 per night to stay here (that includes all hidden and whatchamacallit fees). The room was clean. It had a comfortable bed with a four-pillow selection. There was plenty of toilet paper (albeit, one-ply) and there was hot water for the duration of my shower! That's great. Is worth $80 per night if that's all you're looking for? Absolutely! Oh and lets not forgot the Dunkin Donuts a mere 100 feet away! However, let me point out a few things that will likely keep me from staying there again. First, there were no tissues in the room. Not even the sign of an empty box that might have been. Typically the first thing I do in the morning after I wake up is blow my nose. I don't think that's too uncommon especially for the majority of folks that have seasonal allergies these days. So the one-ply toilet paper didn't quite hold up to the winter, runny nose season. Second, there were mirrors everywhere you looked. The giant mirror over the head of the bed (see picture) creeped me out a bit. Maybe it was because my room was right next to a maintenance room, or maybe because I watch too many X-Files episodes, but I just didn't like it. Third, there was no mini fridge or extra blanket. The mini fridge I can overlook especially in the winter in Olean, NY. Seriously, just leave whatever you want kept cold in the parked car! The extra blanket, however, I missed because I often don't like cotton sheets (I know, weird right? ).

Staff were really friendly. Convenient location. Some of the fixtures in the rooms were a little outdated.

Clean, small room but was big enough to fit our sons pack n play. Staff is friendly. It's a nice place to stay.

The location was perfectly fine, although we almost turned into the exit — slightly clearer signage might be helpful. The room was clean and well-maintained, with a comfortable reading nook, reasonably comfortable beds, and plenty of pillows. The shower had good pressure, which was a godsend. The TV signal kept fritzing out, but that could be a provider issue. The staff was friendly, but we had to remind them about our rollaway. I'd go again.

The room was much nicer than I expected. Staff was great. Only complaint would be that there be a hot breakfast (eggs and such) included in the breakfast.

Clean! Courteous staff. Great walking trails for me and the dogs. Definitely would return if in the area.

Stayed here for a weekend and it was not only super clean, it smelled very clean as well. Room was really nice and the beds were super comfortable. Staff were very friendly as well. Would definitely stay here again!

Just check in started to settle in from a long night to ghost investigation at 230am. Notice the sheets where stained and dirty. Called down to the office abt the sheet. They told my friend and I to come down and get sheets. That we have to make the beds. They front desk wanted to help or ask that they would make the beds for us. There was urine stains make up stains hair and other stains in the sheets. Never going to try the hotel again. We didn't shower because of this. We came close getting our black lights to go more in depth but we were so A palled we had to leave in the am.

I had stayed here once before in the spring. My stay was fine at that time, however I just stayed in July and had a poor experience. I got in our room and the first thing I saw when I pull back the sheets or long hairs in my bed. Next I turned on the TV specifically to watch HBO, and the HBO channels did not work. I called the front desk to report the problem and see if they could help me with the situation. The person was absolutely no help and in fact told me he really didn't know anything about it and gave me no possible solutions nor offered to discount anything for the room. Next I went to the bathroom to grab a tissue only to notice that the tissues in the wall were empty. Finally The second day that we stayed we came back to the hotel to find the room set up again. Except I was surprised to see that instead of replenishing the shampoo that was empty and was repositioned on the sink (instead of throwing it away and giving us a new one). In which case we had to go down to the front desk and ask for more shampoo in order to be able to shower. I then got home to find an additional days charge on my bank account. I decided to call the manager and explain my displeasure with the whole experience. I spoke with her and she gave me a reason why the charge was there which is understandable. She then told me about problems with their HBO which I now understand. It just would've been appreciated if those things would've been offered and explained during my stay.

This hotel was priced really well and the room was fantastic. There were 4 of us and we had plenty of space to sleep, change, and hang out. Breakfast also has great options. I would definitely stay at a Microtel any day!

Great hotel for a short nights stay. Rooms are cozy but perfect for a night or two. They have rooms with a single queen bed or two queen beds. Rooms were clean and everything worked properly. Parking is a little light but a lot is provided a short walk away (only 15 seconds or so but it is not directly next to the hotel). I would stay again!

We had a very pleasant stay. Rooms were nice and clean as was the bathroom. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the services were efficient (room cleaning, etc. ). I wouldn't hesitate to stay at Microtel Olean again and I highly recommend it to anyone in the area in need of a hotel.

Decent hotel. Bed is fairly comfortable. Washer and dryer are excellent! Internet service is quite bad, though. Usable, but that's about it. Cuts out, very high latency, and sometimes you have to log in over and over again. Staff a little inattentive. Needed something for my room. Front desk lady said she'd have it taken care of by the time I got back (was out for a couple hours). Come 2 pm, housekeeping heard nothing about what I needed. They helped take care of need though.

I loved this hotel! Clean, super chill and professional front desk, quiet, and lots of grassy area for puppy to run around. It was very good value for the money. Bonus were the gluten free muffins at breakfast.

Rooms were clean, beds could have been a bit more firmer. Breakfast buffet was nice.

This place was freezing with the heat down and was not clean. Pretty sure it had bed bugs. If you have few dollars more to stay somewhere else I would strongly recommend it. Breakfast was crap.

Night — Our stay was absolutely horrendous. We could not believe the way we were treated by the Hotel manager (Ms. Lori Babcock) After being accused of yelling and running, which we did NOT do but apologized so the staff would leave us alone (we had just played a long hockey game and had two more in the morning… There was no way we were running around… We were actually playing cards! ) she called the police on us and barged into our room at 3:00am, shouting louder than we had talked all night (the officer was actually the kindest and easiest person to deal with). We were not the only "younger" group of people in the hotel, perhaps she should check on others, like the doors being slammed at 5am! Night 2 — We really didn't have any issues the second NIGHT, except for the fire alarm going off at 5am! However, earlier in the day, to prove our innocents, we requested to move to a room on the 1st floor. Ms. Babcock, denied our request, with the reason being "she wanted to know where we were at all times" (creepy… and wouldn't our request help meet her wishes? ). Feeling very unwelcome, we would have gladly taken our business elsewhere had we been offered our money back but we had already paid and no such offer was made. In my opinion, the hospitality Ms. Babcock showed was appalling. We even later found out, from other guests, that she went to the wrong room looking for us (how does this happen if we were being so loud? ).

After our van became disabled late Sunday morning, Lori Babcock went above and beyond to help our family of four. She had the room available when we arrived at the Microtel even though it was several hours earlier than check in. Lori also recommended several places to eat that delivered and provided menus for those establishments. The room was nice and clean and all staff we encountered was friendly.

I called as I drove thru the area after 10pm for availability. Immediately booked room. Check-in was quick. They only have queen-size beds. Room was compact but clean. Service was great.

I would rate is less if possible. I was in town for a wedding and even though it was a smoke free hotel there were 2 ashtrays in the room and the room stunk of smoke. The staff didn't care at all and wouldn't allow me to switch rooms even though there were clearly rooms open. Management didn't seem to care when I brought it to their attention. As someone who works in the customer service business this is hands down the worst run business I have ever been to. I would recommend sleeping on the street before staying at this dump of a hotel.

My reservation "disappeared", but Sean (sp? ) at the front desk was super nice and got us into a room, even though it is a busy weekend. Thank you.
