The location was great. However, I do not understand how you can call something like this a hotel. The hotel room was dirty and full of mold. A power outlet did not work, 3 lamps were also not working. The TV missing the batteries. The walls had holes and nails in it. There was no mirror. In the mildew of the hotel aisle was hard to breath. For our suitcases there was hardly any space. This hotel should be renovated urgently and one should not call a storage room as a hotel room for 4 persons!

The hotel itself was good. Small but not too small and clean. However, the outside was so noisy that we couldn’t sleep at all until 5 a. M.

Very good location for the night life, dont bring a child there only good for adults. Rooms are tiny, they wont change your sheets, they will turn them around and put them inside out… Blinds dont close very well Staff was ok We had a breakfast but didnt have it, I think it was in the basement or something they didnt tell us much. Awesome restaurants close by, good pizza a few doors up in like a little white shop cheap and yummy Breakfast go to the medi cafe staff and food was amazing! 3/10

Small, smelly and a little run down. Wallpaper peeling, curtains dirty, remote held together by duct tape. But at least the front desk staff was nice and friendly! The location is also great with lots of great bars and restaurants.

Good location, discreet cleaning, helpful and professional staff. Quiet though in the area of meeting places. Near the metro.

Hotel exceeded my expectations, very close to everything, right next a bus tour stop point so easy travel around around the city and nice people, would stay again.

This hotel was like a ghost town. Stayed for about 4 days and they didn't seem to have any sheets that didn't have obvious stains on them. The room felt pretty small. The most appealing place of the hotel was the lobby.

Very unpleasant people that serves you. The hotel is very fair. But you have another site OK.

Clean place and accomodating staff. Some of them are quite approacheable and friendly. Small room but toleratably clean so I personally didnt mind the size. However it is very noisy at night time. Definitely need to install double window to block off the noise from the street. You can hear constant honking from the street all night. It was annoying to have 5 inch width black out curtain at the end of each sides of window only; leaving the most of the window covered with sheer light curtain which does not even block off the street lights. Location is close to the metro station and restaurants but ill probably won't stay here again since I could not have a single good night sleep here.

It's Manhattan, and a neighborhood with a lot of activity, so this is not the place for you if you're looking for tranquility. For a petite room I had everything I needed, the lobby was well kept, and the staff were professional.

Great little place on the East side. No beds are big here though! The double room has 2, twin beds. Single room has a full. Big bathroom. Great location — food and shops allllll around. Subway within 5 minute walk (Essex Street). Very clean. Housekeeping daily. Great price.

Lovely staff, but IMPOSSIBLE to sleep a wink because this place is next door to some sort of club which really kicks off as it spills out into the street between 3 and 4 am… everyone finally goes home to sleep at 5 am and you get 20 minutes sleep before the street cleaners come through at about 5.30 am … we literally got no sleep for our two nights here.

Nice location, very little rooms, cheap.

Great supportive staff. Small rooms but good comfortable to crash on after a long day. Noisy rooms on the street side because of several night clubs out in the street. Very hard to find street parking during the weekends.

The only good thing is the location. The rooms that they sell as a double bed for two adults, are beds of less than 120cm. The rooms offer two beds for two adults, each barely fit one adult and one child per bed. In addition, the space in the rooms is minimal, having to walk sideways to pass between the beds and no space just for luggage.

Great location for bars and nightlife. Walking distance to Freedom tower and South Street. Hotel is pretty basic but clean with friendly staff. Banks, subway and restaurants near by.

Location is great, walking distance from lots of great eats and night life venues. Hotel was very basic. Small room, clean enough, not great for anything except sleeping. We got a first floor, handicap room (didn't ask for it, just was given one), there was graffiti on the handicap shower bench. You get what you pay for and all we cared for was a place to crash close to where we planned on going out for the night.

Very friendly staff. Always predisposed to our needs. The area is beautiful. I'm going to go back.

Nice hotel, but didn't have any towels in the room and we called downstairs to get some and they were suppose to bring them up but never did, so had to go downstairs and ask for them again.

The hotel is located in the charming Lower East Side (Little Italy and Chinatown) and is very well connected by the Delancey/Essex subway. Our room was nicely decorated and clean. The only negative point was that the air conditioner spread a moldy odor. The friendly and tidy staff made up for it. : Recommendation!

Overall, this is a good value. Excellent location. The manager and staff are big plus to this great location. Very good customer service.

You get what you pay for. It was a small room. Not necessarily dirty, but definitely not impeccably clean. I wouldn't suggest to my mother for a hotel stay. The location was great. It served its purpose; a place to sleep after exploring the city.

Purpose was served. There was nothing fancy about it. Really small rooms. Fairly quiet. Clean linen.

I spend my holidays in the hotel well. The four was very clean. The hotel is a bit small but the room was a good size. The bathroom had a bathtub :)

Bed was comfortable bathroom was huge was a nice room with little space to move.

Pretty standard mid-tier choice hotel. Clean, presentable, and professional.

Great view on the 9th floor. Bathroom was setup like a public restroom. The room smelled like smoke at first but we left the window open and it was fine. Shower head was great, worked better than the one at the Lucerne.

Hotel is very clean, and the staff are lovely. Jasmine was very helpful with information we needed. And Angel was pleased to give a brief guide through the village and recommended some really good places to eat. Both staff were alert and help us of our needs. Area is an amazing place to stay in and the hotel is right in the middle of it all. Loved our stay!

Small hotel with small rooms but value for money unbeatable.

The room smelled when we first entered. We tracked the urine odor to the bathroom and kept the door closed, The room was very small making it difficult to walk around the bed. They have no parking we had to park a block away. We passed on breakfast. The blow dryer cord was about 2 foot long making it unusable, and the place is way over priced. I would have been more comfortable sleeping in the car. Bottom line we won't be back nor ever refer anybody here.

Auto upgraded to king reducing the room space, great staff friendly and helpful, everything is there that you need just in a teenie tiny space, get what you paid for.

Great and friendly staff, small (like in Europe) and very clean room. The beds are great and so are the pillows. I plan on staying there again soon, as its a great location for photography.

I really thought I had found the perfect hotel, Lower East Side (LES) near good restaurants and bars; and not far from the subway. I got a great price and thought I had hit the jackpot. I was wrong. Before discussing the hotel itself, if you are going on a first time visit to New York, you should know that LES appears to be a little rough around the edges, but we had no problems. Despite that, if I was in my 20s or 30s I probably would stay on this side of town again. This area is perfect for the younger crowd, it reminds me a little of a college town, or maybe 6th street in Austin Texas, or Montrose in Houston. As two 50somethings, it was fine but we may have been the oldest people we saw there all week. Nevertheless, there are plenty of places to eat here, inside or out (some good, some just OK), and lots of places to stop and have a drink (both with or without alcohol). The subway is about a two block walk, done in about 5 minutes or less. But, if you are not comfortable with walking at night in a little bit of a riskier side of town, you might want to look elsewhere. 1. The elevator was broken for several days, we were on the 4th floor and the ice on the 8th. Nobody acknowledged the inconvenience or apologized. 2. The room smelled odd (bad), but that was made worse by number 6 below — they turned off the AC the moment we left the hotel. (Not sure how they knew when we left each time). 3. The noise at night from the street is LOUD.

Charged for stay when I did not stay there! horrible experience! never recommend this place to anyone else ever! also the comfort inn on chrystie street nyc location never stayed there but they charged me nevertheless! a rip off! refused to refund the amount of over $ 350!. A fraud. Never stay there under any circumstances.

Can't wait to get back to this one! It's your basic hotel room but does include a fridge. The subway is only a few blocks away on Delancy street and in the opposite direction you have Katz deli. And if you like burgers as much as I do you have Mikey's Burgers right next door.
