Very nice hotel. Very clean and the staff is very welcoming. Very nice pool and fitness center. Nothing is very far away but not really anything in close walking distance. I would recommend this hotel.

Got nervous when I saw how close it was to 88. But we were very impressed by the hotel. Very clean, friendly staff. The pool was clean, and the room was perfect. Good night's sleep and a well done breakfast.

The rooms were clean and comfortable but we were most impressesed by Kerry at the front desk who called us to check on our status as the hotel was fully booked and then she was so warm and welcoming when we finally arrived. It was a pleasure after a long car trip!

The hotel and rooms were nice and clean. The staff was friendly and breakfast was pretty good.

Not happy at all. I booked a room with a whirlpool tub. I checked in and was told it was out of order. I had my heart set on a nice soak. They did try to compensate with a huge room and some organic soap… nice staff… but I am truly disappointed.

Our client, touring musician Jennifer Westwood recently stayed here while performing near by and loved it! The property was awesome, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating while providing great hospitality. The room was perfect, and there was even a free breakfast and gym/pool to enjoy before heading out on the highway!

Staff are great from the breakfest buffet team to housekeeping to the front-end — very nice and friendly. Cozy place for sure. Some beds could use an upgrade so ask for the newest when possible if needed!

The room was clean, warm, and welcoming. My only concern was that the front desk clerk (check in) was so chatty that the check in process was slow.

Stayed here traveling for work. The bed was super comfy. The room was clean. Cookies and coffee in the lobby. Breakfast was great too.

We brought the grandchildren to the Hampton Inn for a staycation to get them used to being in a hotel. The day and evening desk staff were excellent! Especially Kerry, who was nice enough to upgrade our room to a suite! The kids kept calling it the penthouse. They swam, and made their own waffles at breakfast! Very well stocked snack room, too, for late night munchies. Everything is neat, clean, and well staffed.

Room was fine. Although it definitely smelt like someone had smoked in it before my arrival. Didn't ask to change rooms as the smell wasn't too bad. Other than that the room was fine.

Here a couple times a year. Never have any issues. Everyone's been nice. I recommend going to Jays if you need a recommendation.

We stayed here for a wedding. Good, clean rooms and close proximity to Oneonta center for bars and restaurants. A little side noise from the hallways, but otherwise a nice stay.

If you are on the fence about starting a family and becoming a parent, go right ahead and take that plunge. Why? So you can host your child's first birthday party in a conference room at the Hampton Inn. The entire staff was kind, professional and easy to work with. We were able to decorate the room the night before, which comfortably held about 25 guests and included COMPLIMENTARY COFFEE for all. We arranged the tables and chairs to fit our needs, and additional chairs were provided. Staff members even offered to store the cake we brought until needed. The hotel is well-maintained, modern and welcoming. We're so glad we went with the Oneonta Hampton Inn, and thank the staff for being so helpful. And again, complimentary coffee!

Attractive, clean rooms with microwaves and fridges. Nice breakfast selection with healthy choices included in room rate. 24 hour coffee, tea, and hot chocolate in lobby. Mini store with food and personal care items available.

Nice location for visiting the Baseball Hall of Fame. Rooms nice and clean. Staff was not friendly and breakfast the next morning was terrible. Too expensive for what we paid.

Great experience. Not a lot of options near Cooperstown. I was here for work during the tourist season. It was hard to find a hotel. This hotel is clean and offers nice breakfast options. About 35 minutes from downtown Cooperstown.

Great place really clean and free breakfast!

I came to stay at the Hampton Inn because of interviews that I had to attend in the area (I drove in from Ohio). At first glance, the room was very clean and spacious and the lobby is clean and welcoming. There is coffee and tea available at all times and cookies to snack on. I did notice that I got a new soap after only using it once last night, so they do a great job of keeping every thing clean. I did not necessarily expect for that to happen since it's a waste. Breakfast is good and variable and the staff is friendly. Overall, I had a great experience and I would definitely recommend it to others.

Decent room and helpful front desk staff. Duvet was washed and a free breakfast offered in the morning. Pool, workout area and outdoor patio all available for use.

I stayed here on 2/13/16 and I had a king suite with 2 queen beds, the rooms are nice, the staff were very courteous, the pool is warm. The breakfast wasn't the best but overall I'd recommend this place to others, as I am planning on returning there.

I stayed in room 408 on 6/29/15. The air conditioner was on and off every fifteen minutes all night and room was very warm but didn't want to wake my wife or son to change the room in the middle of the night but in the morning they both told me they kept waking up from air conditioner. I notified the female at the front desk who said they would look into the problem and I also emailed the hotel the day after my stay. I have not heard anything from the hotel as far as a apology or a discount on another stay. I paid 260 for the room that night and feel that I should have heard something from the hotel. L.

The facility is what one would expect at a Hilton owned hotel. Staff was courteous and helpful. The breakfast was better than most hotels I have stayed at. Rooms were spacious, clean, stocked with all necessary items. Quality of the rooms were top notch. The water pressure and temperature was excellent. One of the best hotels I have stayed at in the last four years.

The Hampton Inn Oneonta is a busy hotel with professional staff that work hard to provide a welcoming environment. I've stayed at the hotel a number of times in the past year. The grounds are well-maintained with seasonal flowers. The housekeeping staff are helpful and keep the rooms very clean. The front desk staff are friendly, yet professional. They show an interest in the experience of hotel guests — they quickly learn and remember guests' names and preferences. The Hampton Inn Oneonta is an excellent choice for the business traveler as well as the family-vacationer.

I stayed here for my wedding the 12th and 13th. My room the 12th was infested with ants and the shower head was broken. I was promised a refund, even talked to multiple staff members, and assured that the refund was processed and everything was okay. I got home and did not have a refund, so I contacted the company I booked with asking how long it would take. They called the hotel, and the night auditor (the one who initially promised the refund) denied that I would be issued one. I spoke to the night auditor, two girls the next morning who said the manager would issue it, and one girl later that day (around 5-6pm) who told me it was ALREADY ISSUED and that nothing needed to be signed. Ants, a broken shower, and lied to by staff. I will never be staying here again, and everyone I know will know about this.

Great comfortable room, Fitness center could use some free weights and some fresh air though. Typical Hampton breakfast.

Stayed here for a few weeks. Pretty nice hotel (considering the price). They provide a great breakfast in the mornings and the staff was friendly and professional.
