Issue with my card and did not even try to communicate. Showed up at 7 to find out there is no room available. Noisy, run down. Glad we found another location to stay at.

Will never do business with them again… the front counter lady is beyond rude… Overcharged not only us but another couple at well! Trying to say she refunded us but yet we are still waiting. She did this to another couple as well. I will probably never get my $200 back I just don't want somebody else getting screwed over like we did.

Would've been a very nice stay but the clerk woman at the front desk knew nothing about the surrounding area whatsoever and then at checkout screwed up our bill by charging us $200 extra for our stay! do not stay here.

Better then a hotel. Good Place.

Arrived at 9 pm at 8:30 — 9:00 am next morning was woken up with skill saws construction going on asked for sheets to be changed, was given them to change my self, garbage from tuesday til Sunday was never taken out even put in on porch sat there 2 days no place to put luggage, had to lay in on floor entire time (too old for that much squatting), room never cleaned entire time, no ice 'machine, no coffee machine, mold on bath tub walls and behind toilet and killed 2 bugs in bathroom (1 was a roach) neighbors woke us up at 2 am leaving and then neighbors woke us up at 1:30 arriving will do single cabin in back if ever go back.

Worst experience I ever had in my life. Don’t book this hotel when there are much better rooms available for the similar price. I booked this hotel since it is nearer to most of the attractions in lake George. But now I am realizing why I booked this hotel. When we entered into room, it is not cleaned properly. The bathrooms are left as it is. There are no air blower, no soaps. The air conditioned can’t be controlled and they said it is centralized. But there is no way we can control the temperature from the room. Worst hotel. Don’t ever get into this hotel. Regards Eswaran.

This motel was not our first choice and it proved itself worthy of its multiple one star ratings. The toilet did not work and even after half an hour in our room while we were there attempting to fix it, the toilet still did not flush even though we were told it would. The shower was either extremely hot or extremely cold, the vending machine did not work, and we were not informed ahead of time of the $30 pet fee for our dog to stay with us in this “pet friendly” motel.

The room looks great and is cozy even though the AC runs a bit strong. The room itself is clean and things seem to be in good repair.

Right off the main strip. The rooms are quick built and kinda plain. Still a nice place to spend the weekend.

Clearly none of the recent "renovations" are up to any kind of code or standard… didn't feel safe at all. Everything seemed like a safety Hazzard and patchwork attempted to cover flaws. The pool was disgusting. The rooms had no complimentary soap or anything. Very very basic.

Very cozy place. Very clean. Pretty quiet for the most part. Any concerns are typically promptly taken care of by management. Very nice stay here.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Always there to help or answer questions. We have stayed here past few yrs from anything from 2-5 nights at a time and have had a good experience. The room is always clean and big. We take our 4 kids and all fit in the room comfortably.

We stayed in a newly renovated section of the Motel. Overall it was a very nice experience. One negative thing was one bed had a saggy mattress.

So I booked the King Hendrick and had to cancel within a few days of making the reservation, plenty of time within the time frame of allowed cancellation without penalty. I was charged for the FULL amount of what my stay would have been, nearly $500! I have spoken with James several times, very polite, promising that I will be issued a full credit, however, it is now going on three weeks with no credit, nor an email confirming a credit is forthcoming. Now, my phone calls are not being picked up, no less being returned… I have notified the Town of Queensbury and am in the process of contacting the BBB… beware of shady establishments! It is unfortunate that in order to post this I need to give the King Hendrick a star.

The pictures online do not do this place justice. There are a lot of renovations going on and our room was beautiful. Clean, updated and a great Adirondack theme/feel. Great rates for the area and if you plan on only getting a room to sleep in after a day of activities this is the perfect spot.

I hate to give this place a bad review because the owners seemed nice and seemed like they're trying, but the place needs a lot of TLC. Our first cabin was a cabin with 2 beds. There was an old tub laying in the grass behind our cabin outside the bathroom window. I killed 3 spiders in the first 5 minutes and then noticed ants crawling on the wall. My daughter (18 years) noticed an odor on her bed that she thought smelled like urine. I didn't believe her until I took a wiff. At this point I asked for a refund, but the gentleman offered up another cabin. Cabin 2 wasn't really any better, so he offered me a "suite". He took us there and linens seemed clean and overall appearance at first glance was acceptable. After he left and we'd carried our bags up we realized there was a dirty washcloth hanging on the shower curtain rod. At this point I was done trying to get a refund as he told me that wasn't their policy. We decided to just deal with it as the day wasn't getting any younger. We are not unreasonable people that stay in 4 star hotels or expect to be pampered by any means, but some of the shoddy carpentry and concrete work, and old smelly linens, spiders, etc. Etc. Was just, just, I don't know. I don't want to be a jerk because they seem to be trying, but I would not stay there again. Really enjoyed my stay. Room was simple but clean. The owner was very friendly. Right next to everything I had planned to do for my trip. I would absolutely stay here again!

August 2015… What a difference! We stayed here 3 years ago and were not very happy. New owner new care takers and this place is 100% better. James and Megan and Guiness are the nicest, frendliest people you would ever meet. The upgrades and remodeling works has made this a wonderful experience. Of course there are minor things that may go wrong, but they are VERY accomodating! The pool was clean and welcoming on these hot days! Thank you for a great weekend!

I loved it, good location and nice pool, the owner is a nice person and the cleaning stuff is nice and doing a good job, if you need reasonable place to stay. Jul. 4. Attila :D.

Just hope that if you are considering staying in a cabin at King Hendrick that you will plan on packing a nose plug. I simply could not stay there the smell almost overpowered me and I suffer from severe allergies. Room was dirty as well not suitable for a dog.
