Owner/front desk manager is an anti Semite. Would not allow my family to check in and canceled our reservation. In the world we live in this should not be allowed or stood for. Absolutely boycott this establishment.

Overall the stay was a good one. Location was great. Right next to so many things including tons of activities and shopping. The 2 room suite we stayed in was huge and came at a reasonable price. Size was comparable to a mid sized apartment. Rooms were clean. Decor is showing it's age but is still more than passable. Minor issue in the bathroom… the hot/cold water we're reversed in the shower, but not a big deal. Overall a comfortable stay.

Our first time staying here and it was very nice. We visit Lake George often and will be staying here again. The pool is great. Nice variety for breakfast, make your own waffles. The front desk guys were super friendly and helpful. My only con would be it is in need of a few updates.

We’ve stayed at a lot of Comfort Suites & this one in Lake George has exceeded its expectations, (we used our points). All the people at the front desk were very welcoming and accommodating (especially Michael as well as his Staff) to our needs and very informative regarding different restaurants, places to go & things to do, (considering the weather was unpredictable. The girls loved the indoor pool & the slide as well as the indoor game room. The breakfast had enough choices for everyone. The rooms were clean with ample space… I would definitely recommend this hotel and would go back in the future.

After checking several places to stay, I decided on comfort suites and I made the right decision. Mike at the front desk is a total professional and made us feel at home. The place is immaculately clean, the service is incredible, nice breakfast spread, cold air conditioning. The water slide is amazing, as is the pool and spa. Cool little arcade, big playground, and I didn't even have a chance to check out the fitness center and laundry room. I intended on staying again on my next visits and after the service Michael provided at the front desk when I can checked out, he sealed the deal. Fantastic front desk service as well as the rest of the staff I interacted with. Thank you!

Neat, clean, large rooms. Especially nice front desk. Responded to plumbing issue immediately, recommended good pizza place, and not good pizza places. Coffee had not been replaced in the room and they again responded immediately and brought to the room. I would have given 5 stars, but for issues above. Would love to give 4 1/2 because of great service. Breakfast very good, hot and cold items, more than enough choices. I especially liked the coffee choices between regular and bold roasts, as well as decaf.

Thank you to the staff who had adopted my grandfather as part of their family and being such gracious hosts to the rest of us when we came to celebrate the life he had lived it meant a lot to my family.

Excellent place to stay in the Lake George area. Clean, quiet and a helpful staff. Choice when I am in the area.

Please do not be carried away with the good reviews (5/5 stars) of this hotel by "Anonymous" reviewers. I cannot make assumptions on who they really are… It is up to you to discern who they really are. My review is about my actual experience with this hotel. The hotel is an average with no frills (the pool is not that great as seen in pictures especially if you have been in other hotels). Its clean, old but maintained and has good space. But unlike other hotels that I have been (even as compared to other countries), this hotel has some PECULIAR POLICIES: a) You cannot bring your bicycle in your room — So I have to put my bicycle in their storage room and I have to go up and down the hotel when I was setting up (e. G. Checking gears, gels, spare tubes, water) my bicycle in the hotel lobby (literally! while some guest are passing in and out! ) to prepare it for my race the following morning. It is my FIRST TIME to experience it. I cannot imagine why they have this policy, and to know that the receptionist or manager or whoever he is, is even proudly presenting himself as a cyclist and even showing off his bicycle to me just to get his point. Up to now I am laughing out loud upon thinking about it. b) Not for bigger families — We are 6 (I, my wife and children ages 12, 9, 5 and 2) in the family and I was only suppose to bring my three children (Ages 9, 5 and 2) since my eldest daughter was expected to sleep over with her friends in Albany that weekend.

Great place to stay. I stay here for work a lot the people that work here are supper nice rooms are very clean and neat very large rooms.

Very clean and well kept. The pool and spa were great. The indoor water slide is a great bonus. The kids (and myself) had a great time.

Seven children in our group got chemical burns from the Extremely high chlorine levels in the pool. The second we walked in the pool room the chlorine was burning our eyes. We spoke to a staff member in the pool room and she told us that there is only supposed to be one bag of chlorine added per day but the owner adds 2 in the morning and 2 at night. Two of our kids also could not stop coughing from the chlorine gas in the air. We spoke to the owner and he was a complete a**hole. His first reaction was to tell us to leave that day and he wouldn’t charge us for our last night. We told him that wasn’t good enough so he offered us $50 off our bill. I told him that was a joke for our kids suffering burns and he got mad and offered $100 off which we took and went to another hotel. Not once did the owner ever apologize for our kids getting burned in the pool. Breakfast was very limited and lousy and they only put out about 8 eggs at a time for a room full of people. They constantly ran out of eggs, sausage, milk, and coffee. The hostess at the crappy breakfast was very rude to several people. Worst hotel experience we’ve ever encountered. Do not stay there!

We decided last min. To take a Lake George trip to give kids something different to do. A random search gave me this hotel and we couldn't have been more pleased, the staff, facility were more than pleasurable and accommodating. We suffered an issue at the pool due to the lack of reaponsibilite from another toddlers parent but the front staff and to my surprise the owner actually came to make sure everything was ok. Thank you so much. Thank you so much for your concern. We will most certainly be back for our winter stays.

My family and I have only been here for 3 hours of our 2 night stay. If my daughters' entire softball team was not staying here, I would be checking out now. I was just informed that the front counter staff (I'm thinking they may be management) just asked my 12 year old daughters, "What the hell is the matter with you. You are not 5 years old? ". They were being silly — — you were RUDE. I will NOT stay here again. 2 stars only because it appears clean — — Update… luke warm water for shower in the morning.

Check the bed! They didn't change the sheets. Found someone else's body hair in one of the beds. Also some of the channels didn't work at all. In either of my 2 rooms. To be honest I expected better. However, the front desk staff was awesome. The breakfast was average. But the pool area was pretty cool.

This hotel is just a comfy cozy place to stay. It’s friendly, decorated so pretty, smells nice and the breakfast is wonderful. Very clean and the grounds are well kept. So much energy.

We always enjoy staying here. I don't know that we've ever had a bad time. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. Very personable. We look forward to our visits every time we visit lake George.

Extremely nice, inside and out, modern and elegant but not overly fancy. The breakfast served was good and the workers are very friendly. The receptionist was very knowledgeable about the area and offered much advice about travel and dining.

Hotel was very clean and comfortable but management is horrible. I called on Tuesday to confirm my reservation and requested the room be hypoallergenic as I have asthma and allergies (also requested this when I booked online). Women who answered the phone at the front desk said don't worry rooms are down free. Everything was great but noticed my allergies kicked in. I thought it was maybe the combination of the pool being directly below the room and cleaning chemicals. As I was leaving this morning I noticed the blanket said Down Lite. I looked online and Down Lite is a combination of down and cotton. I talked to the GM as I checked out and said well the pillows and sheets are down free! Yes but you can't say the room is down free! Kept repeating himself over and over.

We only spent one night, but it was very nice. Hotel staff is very attentive and will do everything in their power to make your stay a good one. Very close to a lot of shopping areas and other activity in the Lake George area. Wish I had brought my swimsuit to try the pool and waterslide!

The best stay we've had in Lake George in the last 12 years. This hotel is modern and very clean. The room we stayed in was spacious, modern, and clean. The staff was beyond excellent. My kids loved the water slide.

One of the best hotels in the area. We have been coming here 6 yrs straight. The grounds are phenomenal (see pis I posted), free continental+ breakfast, pool with a slide, playground in rear, basketball court, and close to everything. Wi-Fi available, never had an issue with connections. Owners are friendly, never had an issue in all the time we've been coming here. Rates are fair and typical, usual discounts apply, AAA, Clarion memberships, etc.

Front desk staff is nasty, aggressive and have no place working in a retail environment. Too bad, the pool is fun but not worth the nightmare of dealing with the evil employees. It's run like a prison and the guests are criminals if you politely question them they scream at you. Worst experience EVER!

Awesome place. This is our 2nd visit. Very clean and comfortable room. Great breakfast. Pool has a very fun slide, kiddie pool and hot tube. Mike and the staff made our stay very enjoyable. We're looking forward to our next get away there.

Overall a great place to stay. Can't beat the location. Close to outlets, couple of restaurants and Stewart's. Mini golf right next door. Nice pool area. Breakfast food and free. Staff excellent. Only complaint is the Wi-Fi is average at best and we couldn't print in the business center because it was down for the day. We will stay here again.

While I have stayed at this Comfort Suites before, my reason for dropping in more recently is that there is a Pokéstop at their gazebo out front. And while this Pokéstop may not accessible from the road, a quick pop into the parking lot will get you those Pokéballs or eggs that you've been searching for!

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel was very clean and nice. Nice location close to Lake George but not right in the middle of all chaos. Front desk staff was great. The concierge made great suggestions for local "non-chain" restaurants for great dining experiences.

Beautiful rooms and nice place outside for kids to play BUT the front desk lady night shift (07/12/2015) was very not friendly and yelled at me from the second I walked in She thought I'm trying to fool her by smuggling in ppl Into my room.

Warning: do not go here, stay away. Horrible service. I reserved a room for 4, when I went to check in, the people there were nice. As soon as a friend came in to help us out with our luggage, he called us out and told us that the reservation was only for 4 and not 5 or 6 or 8, told us to either rent another room or leave. We explained to them that that friend was only here to help with luggage, but they didnt care and gave us a nasty attitude. So in the end we left and went to Six Flags Great Escape which was great, free water park and excellent service. BTW, the person who was talking to us, his name is George, he is the owner on this nasty place, at least that's what was told to me when I tried to file a complaint to the manager. The Managers name is Mike, gave us an attitude when we tried to complain and called us liars. do not come here.

Rooms and very nice and well kept; however, there are three concerns. 1. The free breakfast is not timed for people on vacation, nor is it good by any means. 2. Wi-Fi needs a major upgrade as it is spotty and the max users is reached at night. 3. On a much smaller note, the complimentary toiletries are of a low quality, bring your own.

I loved the room and the beds. Friendly staff. But huge downfall was the pool. My 6 year old daughter left with a chemical burn from the pool. Which stinks because that's the whole reason we came.

Anytime I've ever had any dealings with a comfort Inn whether business or pleasure it's always been very pleasant.

From the minute we walked into the lobby Iwe felt welcome. The woman at the front desk on 2/26/2016 who I didn't happen to get her name was so so helpful. I came in with a migraine and she was very sympathetic and kind. Housekeeping was friendly as well as the woman down by the pool. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

We had a good stay at Comfort Suites. Everyone was extremely friendly and offered advice on where to go. The room was clean and well kept. Even had a (electric) fireplace and a hot tub in our room. If we visit Lake George again we will strongly consider staying here again.

The staff makes this hotel great. You feel like family when you stay there. The rooms are spacious and clean. We always enjoy ourselves every time we stay here.

Rooms are big bright and airy and the staff keep them immaculate. The bed is lovely, wish my mattress at home was as comfortable. Even with a large group staying in the hotel, it didn't run of hot water when you went for your morning shower, something some Hilton properties have a problem with. Breakfast is good. I'd stay here any time. And always look forward to coming back.
