We enjoyed staying in this hotel, the hotel is older being remodeled, our room was very clean. The management and staff were super friendly and welcoming. Definitely will be coming back.
My room was clean and my dog was happy! It's an older hotel but they are working on it. I'm happy to say that I would come and stay again. Staff was nice!

Amazingly friendly service and hospitality at this circa 1940's hotel. The owner introduced me to his brother and the maintenance guy. They offer free bottles water and fresh made popcorn. They really seem to want to please. The rooms are in the process of being remodeled while keeping their 1940's look and charm. My room has modern electronic door locks, air conditioning, modern flat screen television, satellite channels, microwave, fridge, and a modern roomy shower with massage shower head. Is the room cosmetically perfect? No. But that's remodeling for you! This place is dog friendly and has a grassy area to walk your pooch (bring your own poop bags). Note: the old "El Kapp" neon sign is still in place, waiting to it's final destination at a neon museum. Look for banners below that neon with the new name Raton's Peak Inn.
