Breakfast was delicious. Service was great!

New auto ordering system & bar area. Very nice. I was able to figure out the ordering system mostly on my own. Food was good, as usual; AC a little cool so didn’t stick around.

Chips and salsa, best I've had, everything else was way above average, friendly staff also.

I called and reserved a room for 4 days and was quoted a price and when I arrived I was told I was quoted for 3 days. So I had no choice but to pay for another night. The rooms were very clean and that was great.
I was also told there was a complimentary breakfast menu. The restaurant didn’t open till 7:00am. Our event started at 7:00 am. Most restaurants open at 6:00 am at least. Asked if we could at least use it towards a dinner but was told absolutely not.
So if you want to pay a premium price and not get a breakfast then please stay here. Otherwise recheck the reservations and make sure you understand what you are getting.

Great food and friendly people. The highlight was the owners 3 year old granddaughter acting as hostess and seating us. We will definitely stop when we go through Rotan again!

Should you need to get out of snow or stop north or south on I-25 is the greatest Inn on one's travel route, pleasantly surprised! Big suite, everything you need for your visit and I highly recommend this Inn. Breakfast included,

They have taken ownership of delivering the freshest food and ingredients possible. Went there for brunch and dinner on the day I discovered them.

Everything was great. The food was great. The waiter was very nice and kind.

I have eaten a few meals as well as stayed in the hotel more than once and this is my favorite place in Raton. The staff is warm and welcoming again for both the restaurant and hotel. On my last visit they noticed that I was distressed over my lost US Army issue sunglasses (very sentimental) and they took my information down. Low and behold I get a call a week later and they had found my sunglasses in the laundry. It really made me a loyal lifelong customer. The breakfast is very filling and we had a fellow Army veteran as our waitress. This place is the best!

I did not stay here while I was in Raton but did stop to have breakfast. The place was very clean and neat. The waitresses were very nice and friendly. The food was great and very economical. Highly recommend.

Stayed there last night. Comfortable bed, hot water, a quite relaxed comfortable stay. Great customer service. Price includes a breakfast in mornig. From all the choices of hotels this was a great choice.

If you're expecting a high class hotel, this isnt it. But if you're expecting a pretty decent hotel for a pretty decent price, this is it! The rooms were clean and the beds aren't awful. There was pretty awesome water pressure in the shower too! Plus the complimentary breakfast is damn good for being a free breakfast, not just toaster waffles and crappy eggs that have been sitting in a skillet all morning. If you're looking for a one or two night stay without hurting your pockets, this is the place to go.

The rooms are clean and orderly. Very polite staff and do a great job cleaning your room. The Restaurant is fantastic great Mexican food and the waitress are some of the finest people you will ever meet. You can call the restaurant from your room and order and they will call you when it is ready. The free breakfast is on the menu and the breakfast burrito is too die for if you like spicy hot.

Didn't stay in motel but ate at restaurant. Worst food I have ever had. Stopped on the way to Colorado and Wyoming. We had seven people in group. Cost 140.00. We ate at other restaurants that we're much better that only cost around 100.00 including outback that was much better. Only gave a one because it wouldn't let me give lower.

Clean and comfortable hotel with a very charming feel. Large rooms with large bathrooms and double sink grooming alcove. I’ve been too long out of NM, but my first impression was that the restaurant is really good too. Breakfast is included with rooms and was amazing. Staff incredibly friendly. Pets welcome and finally very affordable.

Room was huge and one of the cleanest motels I've ever seen. Staff was friendly and food at restaurant was great. Quiet, comfortable stay. Would gladly come back.

We are in the process of moving to Raton, and stopped in for breakfast yesterday morning. The food was excellent and the service outstanding. We'll definitely go back!

Family owned. Cute and comfortable place with onsite restaurant where you also get a completely breakfast. They are in the process of revamping the hotel.

We were driving thru New Mexico and we had to cancel our reservation. The front desk was very helpful and understanding. We kept losing phone service and I had to call several times but the front desk remained professional and courteous. Thank you from some travelers from Texas!

WOW! We gave this place a try because of its Reviews … You should too! If you are one of those preppy spoiled folks that thinks four-star lodging is a downgrade, you are going to be disappointed. However if you want a large clean room with quiet base board heating; a nice resteraunt that serves wine and a large selection of beer and an unbelievable free breakfast all for SIXTY-NINE DOLLARS a night, this is the place for you. A breakfast tip … I am 6’05” 270 lb so figured I’d need to “upgrade” my skillet breakfast — I could only eat half of it. I wasted $3.00 on the upgrade — the plates are huge and wonderful. I almost left out the best part! Every employee we had contact with was absolutely exceptional. Tried to get several of them to come back to West Texas with me to work with us.

What a great surprise. I just was looking for a fairly cheap motel for the night and want expecting much. The staff was real friendly, rooms were big, beds were comfy, and the breakfast was so good.

Room was alright, I mean it isn't a luxury hotel but you get a comfortable bed and everything works. The restaurant is great, good breakfast and great service. Dog friendly. I will definitely stay here again.

Food was really good. Service was decent because they were understaffed and our waitress was reaching the end of her 12 hour shift. She was still the quickest person in the entire restaurant.

Extremely disappointed. This property will give you a super soft bed that sinks in the middle. It offers thin walls that will keep you awake as long as your neighbors. The staff will ignore your requests and make false promises with a smile. Do not waste your time and stomach in the restaurant. Rather go to the Oasis just a couple miles away.

Spacious room. The décor is certainly not modern, but everything is clean and in working condition. Very good breakfast. We arrived in the evening and found no problem where to dine, not far there are different eateries.

So… unless you just like throwing away $ go to the "chain" motels 2 blocks away. If you want very pleasant customer service, very clean rooms and a kept court yard go here. The exterior is dated so I was very surprised at the accommodations. The restaurant, on premise, will offer you a free breakfast for a guest or $5 off any menu plate. I had the steak and eggs… wonderful and complimented with cinnamon toast. The coffee was also pretty good. Your a fool to pass this opportunity up.

Hotel was clean. A little old but clean. The food at the restaurant was excellent. Southwestern Mexican food. Green chili was out of this world.

Super different hotel/restaurant. They really seemed like they cared about the comfort and rest of the guests. I dropped in at 1 a. M. Without and reservation, and the desk person assured me that no one would bother me during my stay. I slept in until 1 p. M. Without a single knock on the door. And the restaurant is pretty good too!

Great room for an affordable price! Clean, easy to find, friendly staff, and the restaurant served a wonderful continental breakfast. Well worth it to stay and I would definitely recommend to anyone passing through.

Staff was extremely slow and did not understand our orders. A lot of the food was cooked or warmed in a microwave and from our seat we could watch the staff eating food in the kitchen. Absolutely the most terrible reastarant in Raton NM.

Casa Lemus was great. So much more than I would have expected to find in a small, inexpensive, family owned motel. The room was large, smelled clean, had a super comfortable mattress and the best shower I've ever had in a hotel as far as amazing water pressure. We enjoyed a nice hot breakfast in the restaurant from the "free options for guests" menu. Staff was super friendly and courteous.

We both had Mexican food. I could not categorize it as New Mexican nor Tex-Mex. The green chili did not taste like green chilis, more like white gravy with green color.
I give it two stars because the beer was cold.

Staff is so friendly! The room was a little dated, very spacious. The air conditioner made a lot of noise, but works very well. Room was clean! Continental breakfast small but effective! Lots of pre packaged goodies, fruit, oatmel, hard boiled eggs and Eggo waffles. Hot Tea, Coffee, Juice! D Definitively worth staying in if you need to stay somewhere over night :)

Pool is beautiful, room clean, bed soft, will use again. And price was half that of neighboring hotels.

Rooms where decent but the breakfast wasn't all impressive.

I, along with about 12 other motorcycle riders, stayed two nights during 2012 Memorial Day here in Raton. The service was just fine. Had a nice Breakfast … rooms were really clean… and they gave us a 10 percent off coupon for the mexican restaurant next door (that had really good food) … and the price was Right! We'll be back next Memorial Day!
