Pros: It's being renovated New laundry machines Large mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker in the room Staff New shower head that allowed for a strong stream of water Cons: Walls/floors/doors are thin and you can hear noise of other guests in the hallway and in the room above (you can hear normal noise, I'm not referring to rowdy behavior) Lumpy pillows There were people hanging out front of the hotel drinking and being loud. I needed to do laundry and I was afraid to go by myself so I had my husband come with me to the lobby to do laundry. I don't plan to stay at this hotel again.

This place was terrible. Neither of the front desk workers were even remotely pleasant. The rug in our room was literally sticky. I felt so uncomfortable I checked the mattress for bed bugs. This place is also under construction and not only looks sterile like a Hospital but I smells awful and has the worst customer service. We didn't even shower there we checked out of our 3 day stay early the first morning and showered at our friends house until we could check into the Holiday inn which was clean and had all the amenities it promised.

Crudely patched walls they didn't even bother to paint over and toilet paper stuck to the room door, this is just in my room alone. None of the buttons on the elevators are seated correctly somehow. The Lot around it and the outside of the building is so unkempt it looks abandoned, even the parking lot is falling apart.

The room was dirty and smelled of bleach. The toilet didnt flush and we were told just to hold the handle down. The hallways smelled and the wallpaper was peeling off. The elevator was a horror movie in itself. Trash was all over the parking lot and the grass was unkempt. I felt like I was in the shining. We only stayed because they would not refund our money. It was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

I thought all the negative reviews I saw were being overly dramatic or picky until I checked in. I should have paid closet attention to the reviews and be less concerned with saving money before booking my room. The "continental breakfast" was a brown paper bag with what looked like iffy fruit and a wrapped pastry from a convenience store. The room was dirty, the ceiling was peeling over the bed, it had a stale fishy odor, the sheets were threadbare, the shower barely worked and then got stuck in the on position and I was unable to turn it off. Add all that up along with the unfriendly staff and I only lasted a couple hours before getting out of there. I would have slept in my car if I had to. Luckily the Comfort Inn close by had a room available. A wonderful room with a very friendly staff and a fabulous breakfast.

My husband and I rented a room for a week not only did we keep getting woken up at 6an due to construction when I got back from work and napped housekeeping was vacuuming key cards didn't work the room smelled like cigerette smoke despite being non smoking we found bed bugs in the room no one seemed to care Wi-Fi was out and no one seemed to know what to say about it other then the router is restarting. Def not the place to stay. Cheap but I rather of spent a little more on something better.

Was great for what we needed it for, a place to sleep while visiting family, but they were doing renovations to the lounge and kitchen area so no breakfast items besides a little grab bag and thermos dispensers of coffee and hot water for tea.

The place is under construction and should not be open. The best part however was the VERY nice lady at the desk. She was extremely kind and helpful, but will not go back till construction done.

To our fellow coworkers, If you are traveling to Limerick Power Station this spring and looking for a place to stay you might want to avoid the Days Inn in Pottstown. When we made reservations they told us that they were doing construction but they were almost done. When I got there they had just started. I had to look at 6 rooms before I found one that was not disgusting. They have no laundry they hand out a bag breakfast with a juice box. The inconvenience of the construction and no laundry and breakfast was one thing but after being there for two weeks I had a cockroach almost one inch long crawling on my wall one night and I went down to the front desk with the cockroach to show them. All I wanted was them to either spay my room or move me and while I was at work the next day I had a call that morning telling me that I had until 12 noon to get my stuff out of the hotel. So if you complain about anything and the manager doesn't want to deal with it they will just kick you out. So we just want to let everyone know about the Days Inn in Pottstown Pa. Thank you fellow coworkers, And have a safe spring season.

Absolutely terrible! Chose here to stay because daughter n law has health issues and she needs to eat 1st thing in the morning, the said free breakfast with booking, well this place gave us breakfast in a bag! And just look at the picture! Mold! I was horrified! Room stunk of smoke even though the place was "non smoking " I didn't even complain about that but no I do think it needs to be told! And there is no manager on site to help you, and Judy who was at the front desk was so very rude to us when we asked to speak to a manager, do not book at this place!

Only spent one night there, but the hotel is under construction — so very limited amenities. Instead of typical breakfast, a bagged breakfast with muffin and fruit was offered. The service was good and friendly, will be a much better hotel after construction.

Currently under renovation, so the state of the inn may change in short order. At the present, the furnishings and walls are worn and the temperature control for the shower in our room was not completely functional. The staff, however, was very accommodating and hospitable.

Gave 3 stars because I have had different opinions of the hotel each time I have stayed. Affordably priced and my family and I have stayed a bunch of times. Breakfast is mediocre at best, more options and fresher food would make a huge difference.

Staff. Was great. Room needed some work but was clean. Breakfast could use eggs and bacon. But overall good place to stay I'll come back here again.

Vent in bathroom dripping water constantly. Wet bathroom floor. Renovations were going on during stay. Otherwise not bad. Room was clean.

It certainly was a hotel to stay at! Seriously though, it was super cheap and provided a better experience than I expected for the price. I have no complaints.

Good place to stay with a $59 rate. Dogs additional $20 per day. Older hotel but clean and easy access to 422 east & westbound.

From the moment we checked in, we were accommodated with exceptional service, beautiful smiles and inspiring attitudes. The excellence in staff rewarded a successful hotel stay.

The phone didn't work, the TV went out… The bathroom ceiling was horrible. My friends that I was with had to change rooms because their door wouldn't lock. All this for $80… I've stayed in rooms cheaper than this that was way better. They need to do better. Won't be staying there no more!

Beautiful Motel friendly staff clean rooms and great rates.

The computer was broken. Gym was out of order. Not sure if they calculated the AAA discount correctly. Advertised one price. But it was another price. And non smoking. Will never return.

This is our home away from home because of family living close to here. We come here at least 5 times a year. Everyone is friendly, the rooms are clean. Microwave and refrigerator included. Light brealfast with make your own waffles. It's not the Taj Mahal but you're not spending $300 a night either. Very reasonably priced for what you are getting especially in this area. Pam and Dave work hard to make sure the guests are comfortable. I would recommend and I'm pretty picky.

Need to upgrade everything. Different beds in room. Dirty smh.

Rooms were terrible carpet was wet in all 4 rooms I had in one room we found a bed bug and staff did not come to clean the rooms and put fresh towels while we were out I had to almost argue w the house keeper for fresh towels. Breakfast wasn't that great literally go here if its last minute also bring your own sheets.

Decent. Not the cleanest and our one bed is wrapped in plastic with almost no support. Just wooden beams. Other bed is fine. Nice sized pool.

Free breakfast, near the expo center, industrial area. Nothing over the top but a clean place to stay with nice workers.

This place is a dump! If I could give it negative stars I would… We checked in and were charged more than what was initially quoted to us on the phone. Only to find out that the shower was not working the next morning. We were given keys to another room to go in and shower only to find the bathroom in that room was FILTHY! Then afterr leaving to attend our event and returning to the hotel to find out out keys were not working and there was no master lock in the door. After all this we were told the manager does not answer calls after hours and would not be in until the morning. AND to top that off the second bed in our room was broken!

Pictures speak for themselves. All I have to say. I will never again use Pottstown days inn. I understand that it is a hotel that many people use but come. On keep the damn bugs out. And repair your property good not just ok.

Clean quiet hotel w/amazing continental breakfast.

I was dropping someone off. The parking lot was nice. It is next to a highway and an industrial area. I did not go inside.

I'd rather sleep in my car than spend another night at this hotel. The first room we were assigned had pubic hairs, as well as long human hair all over the pillows and the bathroom. This almost made the exposed electrical wires in the wall seem like not such a big deal. When we let the front desk know, they assigned us to another room. We were on our way out for the evening and assumed this was just a fluke, so we didn't bother checking our second room until we returned later that night. It was a fun surprise to find that the key they gave us for this new room did not work. Although he was exhausted from a very long day of driving, my boyfriend went to retrieve a new key from the front desk. It wasn't until he returned with a key that DID unlock our door that I realized the room is under my name, not his, and he was given this key without question. The fact that anyone can easily get a key to any room did not instill a sense of security in me, but at this point I was happy just to have a pube free pillow. Until… 3:00 in the morning I was awoken by someone trying to get into our room. Thank goodness we had our deadbolt on because it turns out the person at the front desk (his name was Elijah) checked someone else into our room and had given them a key! The icing on this horrifying experience was when Elijah was not only unapologetic, but flat out rude when I asked how someone got a key to our room.

Clean. A/C worked. Pet friendly. Elliptical in the fitness room was broken. Looked like it had been for a very long time. Overall, a pleasant experience.

Buckle up this is going to be a fun ride. First I show up but unable to check in because the room was in my spouses name which isn't that big of a deal. Once we check in we board the elevator and await the puppet from saw to show up on a tricycle and murder us both. Luckily we escaped unharmed only to discover a hallway that felt like Satan's sauna and smelled like Bigfoot's private area. We arrive at our lovely king room 319, opening the door we are hit with a tidal wave of heat and odor. The ac unit is turned on by a motion sensor so the room is a toasty 87 degrees due to nobody being there since the maids "cleaned" it. The bathroom is decorated with the hairs of previous guests which really brings out the chipping paint on the ceiling. The bathtub would not drain so enjoy taking a shower and a bath at the same time with water that refused to get warm. This deluxe room is filled with the smell of cat urine and curry (due to the neighbors who work / live there). After a trip to Walmart to get air freshners we return to a room that is no cooler than we left it because of the motion detection ac unit not detecting any motion. I spray copious amounts of air freshener in a desperate attempt to cover the smell up, my efforts fail. The next day we request to change rooms. Behind door number one is a family that isn't supposed to be in the room. Behind door number two awaits a bed full of pubic hair and other foreign material on the sheets.

I am writing this review for a friend of mine who recently stayed at this Days Inn. As she told me the story of how her evening unfolded once she walked into the establishment, I kept finding myself saying that this story needed to be told for comedic value if for nothing else. Obviously, I will be reviewing from memory, so I may leave out a few items. This was booked on the fact that there are few other available options in the area for the price. That being said, my friend was aware that things may be "less than stellar" during her stay. There was a general dirty appearance and musty smell as others have reviewed, but honestly the price was warning enough in regards to this. Once she entered her room she found a broken window curtain, also not a show stopper; she just figured she would let them know at check out. After dropping her bags, she immediately headed to the bath room as we all normally do when entering our hotel rooms. As she opened up the toilet, she was immediately greeted by someone else's "business". Although totally grossed out, she figured she would just flush this problem away as she has had a long day and just wants to relax; but to her dismay, the left behind "movement" would not go down. She immediately phoned the front desk, but only to hear an endless ringing tone with no answer at the other end. She grabbed her things and trekked down to the desk in hopes of receiving help.

Rooms were nice and clean. Comp breakfast was a little lack luster. Service was good maybe a little unprofessional but not unpleasant. All in all you get what you pay for and I was not disappointed.

Horrible experience! Front desk clerks were pleasant and helpful. But the hotel and the room left MUCH to be desired. Musty smelling room. Phone did not work. Only one lamp in the room worked. The hanging mirror was off the wall and leaning against it. The air conditioner barely worked and it appeared to be insulated by tissue which you could see. Several outlets in the room did not work. The shower nozzle spun in both directions so it was hard to get a warm shower. I complained to the manager but he was unable to do anything as the reservation was made online and the hotel was full. I spent an hour calling the neighboring hotels looking for a room. Unfortunately, there were no vacancies. Will NEVER stay there again.

Hotel had ample parking and full hit breakfast. Fitness center was only 3 cardio machines and Internet did not work in my room.

Nonsmoking room and whole floor reeks of smoke, broken furniture, faulty faucet, fire door that doesn't latch, "fitness room" is a gutted standard room with some pisspoor machines, elevator is a death trap, and I found a dime in my sheets which leads me to assume that my linens weren't cleaned. I'm here for a month and have been searching for a new place since 5 minutes after checking in. Terrible.

It's listed as a two or three star hotel, people. Listen, its run down a bit, but they seem to be working on it. And I had to move rooms as well, but zero drama. Done. As far as desk clerks? They have been so very very helpful, and nice! Quirks, dents and dings, but nothing you can't deal with for the price!

Horrible experience. First of all their Wi-Fi doesn't work unless you're in the lobby. The who place is dirty and smells musky. Had to switch rooms because the non smoking room smelled like smoke. When I went to take a shower in the morning and I noticed the bathroom wasn't cleaned since the person before me. Went to call the front desk and the phone didn't work. The people working the desk were awesome but their is only so much they could do when the people who run the place don't care. I travel for work and go to these hotel chains because they usually have stand I know what to expect. Needless to say I was completely disappointed. avoid like the plague!

My son his gf and her mom stayed there my son came home said the room had no remote for the TV the shower didn't work properly they charged them $100 I called the receptionist that answered the phone said they smoked in the room and neither of them smoke and I dont believe that her mom did either and I asked her and them I asked to speak to the manager and was told I needed to send the manager an email I asked if the smoke detector went off my son said no there wasn't one in the room the place beside the sprinkler for one but none was installed very disappointed that issue could not have been resolved by speaking to a manger the reception also said if my kids had an issue they should have brought it to there attention while they was there um ok they wasnt going to complain at all because it was their 1st experience with paying for and staying as adults in a hotel they came home and told me about there experience and my son gf is sitting her reading this to make sure I get the review right.

Listen, this place was decent for the price. The front staff, Sharazhan and Michele were helpful and my first floor room was quite pleasant. The breakfast was also better than I expected because the milk was really cold and the oatmeal very hot. Yes, I would go back.

Ok. First the pool is green full of garbage. Then next morning I was double charged for my rooms by a morning girl that didn't know what she was doing. The afternoon front desk took care of that for me… but I still have a problem that they charged my credit card with out my signature or authorization at all. To me that is theft. I think I will watch how I deal with hotels when it comes to my credit cards. They shouldn't be able to charge anything on your card if you do not authorize it with a signature… room is clean and air conditioning is working great. Other than that. We have a guy sleeping in our lobby for two days. Wtf. Now the clerk is playing very offensive rap music at the desk. The owners have no clue to what is going on in their hotel.

The staff that was on duty, were understanding and accommodating but that's was the only good thing I could say. My daughter and I had the worst experience in this hotel! In front of the hotel, the trash cans were overflowing. The lobby ceiling had stained and water-damaged tiles. In a two-nite stay, we changed rooms 3X, the 1st room was the best of the worst. 1st room, the ceiling in the shower started leaking and the refrigerator interior back was gone. 2nd room, we were given a handicap room that just didn't look a clean as it should be. 3rd (last) room, was on top floor, as you got off the elevator, it looked like an unfinished construction zone, broken ice machine. The room was small with a big bed and tiny closet. Our visit was late October 2014, Hopefully, there have been improvements for 2015.

Great place to stay when away from home. Hotel clean, friendly staff. Big rooms. Great Price!
