Do NOT stay here and definitely do NOT have a wedding here. House is out of date with poor cleanliness and there was broken beer bottles on the sand. Half of the beach chairs were broken and not stored properly. There are utensils and condiments in the kitchen that were dirty and out dated. The owner’s son lives in the basement and stays there while guests are in the house. He was not helpful at all. The first day we decided to clean up the beach chairs and put them away in the storage bins, there were two identical containers side by side but apparently one was garbage, which was not labeled. He must have seen me put the chairs in the wrong container and sent my fiance a rude text saying “you better have a better solution than throwing away our chairs”. At the end of our stay the garbage truck came to the house and we were responsible for loading all of our trash onto the truck while the owner’s son was home because we saw him and saw his car.
On the morning of the wedding, the same man kept walking onto the beach and in the parking lot. He took photos of the ceremony and reception space and continued to walk. Later that night we learned that this man was the owner who lives across the street. At 10:04 pm he entered the tent where the reception was being held, put his hands on the man playing music and yelled “turn the music off now”.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Bill was so helpful, accommodating and communicative throughout our stay. Nothing was too much trouble! You cannot beat the location! It’s right on the beach and is close to good shops and restaurants. Room was very comfortable and the private deck was the perfect place to watch the sunset. The place was very well organized and stocked with all the essentials. We will be back!
