Would have been a 5 star, our reservation and check in person was wonderful. Very friendly and informative. Great recommendation for dinner. Clean and comfortable room. However, when they say breakfast is over at 10, they mean it. We stopped to grab a yogurt at check out, and when asked for a spoon were told “the kitchen is closed! ” Not an I’m sorry we don’t have plastic spoons,, just a “your out! ” gesture, and basically felt we needed to put the yogurt back. She did say we could have the granola bar. It was 10:10.

Great bnb. Super close to the jetport, Portland and Freeport. Friendly staff, if I make it back to Freeport I will definitely stay here again.

Rooms were clean and front desk staff was extremely pleasant. I would certainly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Laying here in the room thinking that this place is great. Clean. Great staff. Good breakfast. Would I stay here again? ABSOLUTELY. The beds were comfortable, my kids loved the decorations in the lobby. Definitely recommend this place to all my friends and family.

I stayed in a beautiful king room with a private bath in March 2018. The room was very clean and nicely appointed with a small fridge. The continental breakfast was nice, too!

Very clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. The staff were very attentive with fresh towels and making up our room. This is the perfect place to stay while shopping and visiting Freeport.

Found this place on the internet when we were heading to Freeport. It is the cutest, cosiest and friendliest place we have ever stayed. Close to Casco Bay and just outside of Freeport.

If you are looking for a 5 star hotel keep going! This is no 5 star. But if you are looking for a clean, no frills, decent place to stay then Casco Bay Inn will suit you just fine. Comfortable not fancy. Just a few minutes from downtown Freeport, 15-20 minutes from Portland and surrounding areas. I don't know what it's like at peak season, but the Inn was just fine in the off season.

Great price, location. Rooms are extremely clean and free Wi-Fi! Lots of parking and easy to spot from the road.

Great location… close to Freeport village station, many breweries, portland/old port. Decent place… clean room (they had an extra vanity sink with mirror n hair dryer outside the bathroom… great to get dressed while someone is using the bathroom). Easy to get there as it is situated right by the road. Breakfast is included… although its basic (cereal, cornflakes, toast, muffins, boiled egg, yogurt, juice n coffee). All in all was great short/overnight stay for us on our Portland/Freeport trip.

What a wonderful family friendly place to stay. So warm and inviting! Clean, clean, clean! Did I mention the cleanliness? And, Ziva, added the "homey" touch!

Casco Bay Inn is the perfect local inn in the Freeport area! The owners are delightful, the rooms clean and well-appointed and the location is perfect with a quick drive to all the shopping Freeport has to offer. I absolutely recommend the Casco Bay Inn to friends and family who are visiting Maine!

Convenient location that is close to activities in Freeport and Portland. Rooms are very clean and we enjoyed the king bed and dual sinks. Price was highly reasonable especially for the time of year (height of summer tourist season). We were greeted by the sweet resident German Shepard, Ziva, as soon as we walked in the door. All in all, this was a wonderful stay.

It is clean, has friendly staff and a nice breakfast included in cost. Hard boiled eggs, toast, bagels, yogurt, blueberry bread, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, biscuits. A friendly German Shepherd walks around so probably not good for people with allergies. No pool but we didn't care about that. Stayed with 2 adults and 2 kids in room with 2 double beds. I have neck issues and was completely comfortable. Has a small refrigerator and microwave.

Pretty decent hotel for affordable price. They offer a small complimentary breakfast in the morning. Had a king-sized bedroom overlooking the parking lot.

Great place. Very clean. The owners are very nice people. I highly recommend. Nice laid back atmosphere. The owner even made homemade blueberry bread.

Very nice quaint place. I really enjoyed it. But do not go here if you are a smoker. The lady at front desk (Sara) will watch you like you're a second class citizen. She will watch you like a hawk. If you even think about smoking outside you will get yelled at. She will watch every move you make. I asked for a extra bar of soap and she wouldn't even give me that.

We have been staying here for a number of years on our annual visit to Freeport to shop at Beans. Always friendly people who make you feel at home. Rooms are clean, quiet and ensure a good nights sleep. Coffee maker and refrigerator in room are appreciated. Breakfast is quick, convenient and good. We always enjoy our stay. Rates are reasonable.

My husband & I choose to stay at the Casco Bay Inn whenever we need to stay in the Portland/Freeport area, which is usually 2-3 times a year. We have been going there, on & off, for many years, including under the previous owners. If anything, things are even nicer now. It isn't "fancy". There is no pool or gym. However there is always friendly & helpful service, clean, spacious rooms & comfortable beds at a reasonable price. A small fridge in the room is a bonus. The complimentary breakfast bar is quite adequate &, most importantly, the coffee is good. (Once I left my favorite pillow there. I called & asked the new owner to please hold it for me. He was very gracious & held it for me for over 2 months! )

What a nice place! I'm super picky and found it very clean, comfortable, affordable, and the staff was so nice. We will definitely stay here again!

Casco Bay Inn offers a very friendly, clean, homey environment at a reasonable price. Our room was quiet, temperature control was easy, and the mattress was just right (firm). The continental breakfast had everything, including very good coffee, for starting the day.
