I really enjoyed my stay here, I would have given it 5stars if they had a iron and coffee pot! But overall I really enjoyed the place and for the COST you can't beat it. I will be back the next time I come to New Orleans. Thanks for the great hospitality!

It seems management is very responsive to even the slightest negative comment left as a review. I can't wait to see how they respond to my assessment of my 3 day stay. When I first checked in late on a Tuesday night, John at the front desk was very kind and engaging. The actual room, for the price wasn't that bad. It had a full fridge and microwave and the beds were clean and comfortable. My issue began when I simply went to get some ice and discovered the ice machine was broken! Really! In 100 degree heat and 60% humidity? I went to the front desk and discovered they had plenty of ice cold bottled water for sale and asked, as a courtesy, could I have a bottle. The gentleman behind the desk was very adamant that I could not and if I wished to purchase a bottle, they were $1.19. I remarked since the ice machine was broken, as a gesture of good will, he should give me a bottle, He wouldn't budge. I later purchased my own ice and kept it in my room. Ironically, after my 3 night stay and as I was checking out, a repairman marched up to the front desk and proudly exclaimed, "The ice machine is fixed! " Nice. After a late night of partying in the "French Quarter" and arriving back at the hotel, I was looking forward to sleeping in and not seeing the world until at least 2 pm. Imagine my shock when housekeeping started banging on my door at 9 am. No problem, I thought, perhaps I forgot to hang the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the doorknob.

For the money, its worth it. Clean and quiet at night. Its a good place if you need to just sleep for the night. People are super friendly. Would stay again.

The rooms are okay, but nothing special or extravagant. I hate how there are various stray cats that stays on the parking lot or next to the bottom floor rooms' doors, because the dumpsters for the inn and other businesses are next to the stairs. The rooms does not come with extra keys; nor iron and ironing board. But the best parts about this inn would be the area it is in. Every eatery (fast food and restaurants), store (Wal*Mart, clothes stores, etc) is very close by/walking distance. Also, a Popping's Go gas station and Chicken Campero is right next door. The cable is great in the rooms and the flat screens are beautiful. The refrigerator and freezer works great, along with everything in the bathroom. The sea shell design is cute in the tub, but the third shell takes up space in the bottom of the tub.

The Contempra Inn is the best place to stay. And with all the remodeling that has been done really makes it a nice place to go and relax.

It was a decent little hotel. It had great water pressure, which is something most of them lack, but the water did turn cold pretty quickly. I'd say the only thing I didn't really like is how close to the interstate it was, and that there was no breakfast in the morning. They did have a little shop in the from that had just about everything you could need. Also tons of cats and geese on the premises just hanging out.

Very comfortable and clean. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I do want to express my apologies to them for an idiot who, unexpectedly, stayed the last night. I realized I had forfeited my deposit due to this idiot. Thanks for the convenience of a great night's welcome as we visited New Orleans! P. S. The ducks were free entertainment.

AWESOME! Rooms very clean and safe all non-smoking. Great staff Daily Cleaning. BEST TV Channel selection I have ever seen at any priced Hotel! Great location close to everything. Highly recommended!
