Motel 6 southeast baton rouge is located on seigen lane behind Chevron and waffle house. It is usually a quiet place to spend the night. The rooms are not explicit but they are roomy and comfortable.

Surprisingly decent. No bugs. Overnight security on premises. One word of caution, as I found out last night — — Saturday and Sunday night music pulsates from a nearby club. Sleeping in a room near it is all but impossible until way after midnight.

The location is very convenient to I-20 & local major roads. And, easy to get in & out with a traffic light. There's a variety of places to eat on the street. It was one hour to New Orleans, so we drove down for a quick visit. Desk staff was helpful.

Front desk staff on pm and am shifts were helpful and friendly. Good value and exactly what I needed. Thank you. AC unit was a little old/not cooling as strongly as newer units but it was not uncomfortable either.

I will be back to this location because my room was clean and the customer service was very good I would recommend this place to everyone for the great experience I received from the front desk clerk she’s very good with people. Thank You Keyon for being very good at your job.

I always get multiple rooms for my contractors and we have never had any problems at this Motel6 Ms. Keyon always make her guest feel welcome and she always help me when I call about reservations. All smiles when I hear her voice because I know she’s going to sure that her guest are satisfied I would like to take the time out to say Thank You again.

Every single time my wife and I visit Baton Rouge we stay at this motel and we enjoy our stay very friendly staff and clean room and Ms. Keyon is always welcoming I would recommend this place to anyone.

The front desk clerk was very pleasant and very professional. The check in was so fast she made sure she called the room to make sure we were satisfied with everything I never had that done before. I asked for a wake up call and she set my wake up time for 6:30 and 6:35 that young lady is really good at her job because I didn’t get up for the first call but second one woke me completely up thanks to her I made my appointment on time. Thank You Key Key.

My mother and I really enjoyed our stay at the motel the room was very clean and the young lady working at the front desk was very friendly, helpful and she made sure that everything was okay with the room. Thank you keyon.

The room was clean and comfortable. Renee (the front desk attendant) was very welcoming and caring. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.

Nice Motel 6, remodeled with modern contemporary style in rooms with very nice and wooden floors. Rates are good but unfortunately the only bad thing is the 3.00 charge for Wi-Fi.

Room was not very clean. Pretty sure there was a drug deal going down in the parking lot as we were going to our room. There was some sort of loud discussion right outside our room sometime after midnight, and we didn't feel safe at all. There was no charge for our cat, which was nice, but overall not a great experience.

The clerk who checked us in that evening was very pleasant :)! The room was a little older and the floor wasn't in great shape but overall it was clean and comfortable. Easy check in, easy check out — a great quick stay.

It was horrible! Rooms were dirty, our toilet didn't work, I took pitures of the shower. There were fights going on outside and my husband was approached by someone renting a room and asked if "he knew where to get some crack or some (insert vulgar term for female reproduction) ". We had our 11 month old daughter with us and felt unsafe. Complained to the front desk but they didn't send anyone down tI'll the next morning when we were checking out. Horrible.

Last Monday I checked in around 7 and the front desk clerk was really nice. Whenever I needed anything she genuinely seemed more than happy to accommodate. This wasn’t my first time being here though. A couple months ago, the manager there was rough with me. There was definitely an attitude when I spoke with her. I wanted a refund because I didn’t feel comfortable in my room. I had the room for about 20 mins but I never went in the room. When I came in for the night, I wasn’t satisfied with where I was staying so I wanted to switch and she gave me a hard time. I never received the refund. : (

THIS place was very clean and very nice miss Barbara the front desk clerk was so sweet and helpful and friendly and my kids and I FELT very safe and THE room was very nice and very spacious no fridge or microwave but other. Then that very nice and affordable.

We had booked a room with pets and ask for accessibility and microwave and mini fridge. Clerk stated no downstairs rooms come with either? That is the first thing that needs to be addressed. But the clerk was SUPER friendly and nice and she gave us a downstairs room which we needed when traveling with pets. The room we got did not have any hot water Friday night called the front desk clerk stated she would tell the maintenance person in the morning, Saturday morning lukewarm water had to bathe, maintenance man came around about 2:30 ask about hot water he said he knew what was wrong with it. Saturday night came back to hotel no hot water. Called front desk clerk said if you want hotwateryouhave to move to another room “ what and pack up everything and the dogs, ” just go flip the switch like the maintenance person did earlier, we stated we did not want to move, clerk said the bathe in cold water then and hung up. Other than that the room was very large, and clean sheets and I like staying at motel6 due to not having carpet in the rooms. When you are in and out with dogs you don’t want carpet.

We requested a dirt floor room and ended up in a handicapped room. No closet and it was not a good room to begin with. We’ve stayed in much better Motel 6’s before. It was not good experience.

The Stay was nice. When booking my stay I was informed that you don't take AARP anymore. I feel that isn't good. Because last year when I stayed you took AARP. My room was on the first floor The new hard wood flooring was very wet when I woke on the next day. I went to the office and informed the clerk. She did offer to move my room. My main concern is that I am paying 53.99 a night and there is no microwave in any of the rooms. I Know it is a motel but walking to the office to heat your food can be a problem at 2 or 3 in the morning. That means that you have to get dressed and walk to the office in the dark, cold, or the rain to heat food. Please try getting microwaves in the rooms.

Had an argument with my wife and the manager rudely forced me to leave the property with no refund. Had people doing drugs in the parking lot and people asking for drugs. When my wife told management they did nothing. This hotel is right in the middle of the drug circuit and no one is doing ANYTHING about all the illegal activity going on there. Also more than half the hotel had no hot water and my a. C. Didn't work properly. The laundry room was FILTHY and again no one did anything about it. I will not be staying at this motel 6 ever again.

I was happy with my choice, due to the location next to Waffle House, and nearness to Family Worship Center, and the coffee each morning. My room was clean, though I heard of another guest that found bed bugs. Thankfully, this was not my experience. My only other complaint was that my key card kept not working. I am physically weak due to low hemogloblin count and it was becoming stressful to keep a key that worked. I didn't physically have the strength to keep walking to the office to sort out the problem. Thankfully I had friends that were helping me out. Please come up with a permanent solution to that problem, so guests can stay stress free.

The Staff where fantastic and room was clean and easily lockable not like another chain in New Jersey. Would come back and stay if in the area. Staff do need pay rises for other customers who want the world for a small price. matt.

Place was very clean. There was an armed guard walking all around the property which made me feel more @ ease. The staff & management just blown me away with the ready to help & awesome attitudes. Keep it up motel 6. There is people hanging outside the rooms & somebody thought it was funny to put a bear can & a cigarette on my 300$ tunnelcover. Not. Man I was very upset. Went & told the manger & pretty much from the GM there I was lying but that is fine. I be dam if I stay here again. Oh BTW the GM was on the property. So my lost.

The manager at this location is a very sweet woman! I needed help and even though it was an inconvenience she helped me! Location is great also! My room was clean and they gave me a room in the back like I requested so I could be close to grass for my dog that I brought with me. VERY dog friendly!

So I get to the motel and the light over the sink doesn't work. I tell the lady at the front desk and she then asks the cleaning lady if she checked all the lights. What do you think the cleaning lady says? "They were working when I tried them. " So basically I'm a liar. She tells me that she'll have maintenance look at it the next day. So I leave early in the morning on Saturday and return late that night. I notice the light was fixed but now I have no towels other than the two large towels we used after we showered. Mind you, three people stayed in the room. So yes, one of us had to drip dry. As for the linens. Most of them had several burn holes. I also had to pay for high speed internet at $5.50 but the Wi-Fi was so crappy that I couldn't stream what I wanted to watch on my computer. There were also several unsavory characters who loitered around the motel as if they were waiting for their chance to take advantage of a situation. I'm from the city and working in law enforcement so I'm not overly paranoid, just a trained eye. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else if you can afford it.

This was one of the worse place i've been in my life. I went last night with my best friend. We took a room the "110" it was all messed up. I found needles, beers, cigarettes and condoms on the floor and the beds dirty and broken. I don't even want to know what happened there. But for me never again. Very bad area and dangerous. My recommendation: don't even think about it. Don't go to that place or that neighborhood. Very disappointed.

Rooms were comfortable. Overall cleanliness was acceptable. Pretty much everything was alright. Nothing special and nothing terrible about the overall stay at the hotel. Now as far as the customer service was concerned, there is a whole other story. No one was exceptionally polite or even ever so much as cracked a smile at me or my husband in our entire time there, which was in all about two weeks. My husbad very politely asked "how are you today? Morning good so far I hope. " And after making direct eye contact, repeating himself 3-4 times (never with any rudeness until eye contact was made and eyes were rolled to tell him she was very obviously ignoring him for no reason at all), we finally just gave up trying to be polite. This went on with different members of staff in similar situations a few times. Although all compared were nothing in comparison to the manager and her insanely condescending, extremely stereotypical and judgemental attitude towards my husband and I from the first day she laid eyes on us. This is a more serious matter to be discussed later and id like to have information on how to report her and have something done about how we were treated because we "killed her with kindness" right until our last conversation and she killed us with more extremely uncalled for rudeness right back.

The room was clean & spacious. The Air Conditioner worked great. The staff was very sweet & treated me great! My only complaint would be the lack of stairs on the sides of the buildings. I would and will stay there again in the fiture.

I've stayed at Motel 6 several times in my life, but never have I experienced one this bad. The air didn't work in my room. I spoke with the Manager about checking the air or possibly moving us to a different room. I was told there was nothing that could be done about it. The bathtub had hair in bottom of it and dead bugs on the side of the toilet. I called the front desk and asked someone to clean it. It took over an hour for someone to come and clean the bathroom. I initially wanted to stay for two days, but decided not to due to the condition of the room! I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!

The hotel was disgusting from roaches to spiders! The rooms were not clean hair was left in the shower, sheets on the beds were also nasty. There were severally complaints from other guest. Me and my family was booked for two nights but checked out a day early due to the condition of the hotel. The manager was very rude and unconcerned about any of the issues. This was very disappointing for me and my family. Please don't be deceive by the pictures on the website… this place is a nightmare!

Everytime we stay at this location, the rooms are extra clean and neat. The maids always take care of any needs right away. The receptionists are always friendly and smiling. It is very surprising how nice the motel is for such a affordable price.

Room Pros: 1. Friendly Staff. -Front desk lady, upon arrival, was very welcoming and accommodating to all our requests. ( (non smoking room near the pool) ) — The staff that we would see walking around always acknowledged us when passing by with a simple "hello, how is your day? " 2. Clean and comfortable room. -The floors, counter, tub and toilet were all clean. -Beds were comfortable, clean sheets, with 2 fluffy, super soft pillows. -Hot water and great water pressure in the shower. 3. Location. — The hotel is walking distance from waffle house which was convenient for us. Plus, who doesn't love waffle house!? -There's also other great restaurants less than a mile drive. Chili's, Texas Roadhouse, Joe's Crabshack just to name a few. -We were in town for BCSF @ the LSU Tiger Stadium and this hotel is about a 10-15 minute drive from there. Cons: 1. The parking. -If you request a pool view room ( (as we did) ), prepare to park on the side of the hotel no where near your room, or in the back side of the hotel and walking to your room because there's no parking near the pool. 2. The pool. — The color was more green than blue and it had some type of yellowish slimy stuff floating on top. Someone did come and clean off that slimy stuff, but I wasn't interested in getting in after seeing it. -If you choose a room near the pool, keep in mind the noise level is high while the pool is open. Yelling and music are to be expected. 3. Strange smell.

On the weekends my husband and I we like to get away and spend time to ourselves, so when it was time to settle down for the night we stayed at Motel6 that Saturday night, the front desk clerk was Awesome don't remember her name, got to the room the floor could of been swept, cigarette ashes on the floor, pull the covers back and there were blood stains on the sheets, so it got me thinking do they change the sheets on the bed Yuk, and why didn't they notice the blood stains. I just can't get that out of my head! 'I think it's time to find somewhere else to go.

Everything excellent. Looks like recently renovated. I think the bed was new.

Horriable front desk service the have no bussiness working at a hotel. Very rude … night and day shift. The hotel is mostly crack ville. I paid for two nights stayed one and came. Back to get my things. Would night stay here if you are not having to spend the extra 20 and get a good night sleep to many people yelling and on drugs …

Overall the stay was great. Just need more parking for guest. The rooms were very nice and clean.

The stay was comfortable Keyon was very curious and her customer service is very pleasant.

Workers were nice and they also took time to help you. The newly renovated rooms r so clen and up to date.

The first room we were placed in didn't have a working air conditioner. Called down to the front desk and she says "I don't got any rooms. Can maintenance come up and check it? ". I tell her that would be fine. An hour or so later he finally comes and as soon as he walks in and puts his hand in front of the vent he says "Oh no this is not working. She needs to get yall moved into another room. " I said "Thank you! I've been sweating all day. " About 5 minutes after he radios her our room phone rings and she says "maintenance said yall gotta be moved but I ain't got any rooms clean you're going to have to wait. " Finally an hour or so later she calls and has a room. So basically I sat in a hot, humid room all day. The TV was tiny and didn't have but about 10 channels even though the website claimed it have a extended cable package and most of the channels we got were news or In Spanish. The TV was so staticky you could barely see the picture. Thankfully the next room had a clearer picture but then I found a cigarette butt beside the Toliet which leads me to believe they didn't even clean the room before they moved us in. Don't waste your money. For $60 a night you can find a much better accommodation some where else!

I was in town to visit my son who is a student at LSU and to attend the LSU-Ole Miss football game. My expectations were realistic considering I paid $45/night during Homecoming Weekend at LSU. Since my bed was clean and comfortable, the A/C worked well and there was great water pressure in the shower, I chalk this stay up as a huge success. There were more than enough fast food places within walking distance as well as a Hooters, which was great after the football game. I'll be coming back to this hotel in 2 weeks for the LSU-Bama game. GEAUX Tigers.

It was older but clean. The beds were a bit hard. We weren't there to hang out in the room, just needed a place to sleep for 2 nights. Used the pool, nice. Felt safe. Nice, speedy check in.

This place is straight nasty. Had reservations for 11 didnt get our room till 3. Got to the room it was nasty. Sorry we came to this place uts full of crack heads.

I was about to schedule a reservation online for this particular Motel6, and I called to ask a couple of questions. I was thrown off guard when the customer service woman at the motel told me that I wouldn't be able to pay the normal weekly rate to stay next week. She wouldn't tell me anything other than they don't do weekly rates of $37 per night. So, I talked to a Motel6 customer service rep that confirmed that they DO honor the online weekly rate. So, she called the place in Baton Rouge to find out what the problem was. Turns out, that because of the hurricane, they will not rent me a room for the correct price from September 5 through the 12. Apparently, they anticipate having FEMA personnel and other people staying there. I find this is totally ridiculous, and will not be spending my money here for my week long stay. I guess our money is not welcomed at this motel.
