Canceled room within allotted time for zero penalties, was still charged the full amount. Now fighting to get my money back. The owner is not nice and very argumentative.

I don’t expect a lot of amenities for the price point, but I do expect a clean room. Bathroom wasn’t cleaned, sticky mysterious spot on carpet. Bed was remade without changing sheets. Called down to desk and she wasn’t helpful. Basically said it’s a cheap rate deal with it.

Close to food and Walmart.

Great room. Easy access to the interstate and food. Comfy bed, clean room. Nice staff. I'll stay again.

I won't even rate. We got our money back and left. Sheets were dirty, mold on shower curtain. Ok had to give 1 star to post.

Disgusting! The carpet and sheets were stained, the bathroom hadn't been clean, the room smelled awful, and it was super hot inside the room. We got a refund and went down the road to America's Best Value Inn where the room was great and only $3 more.

BED BUGS! The staff was nice, the location is nice, the price was nice, but none of this was worth it because I got terribly bit up by bed bugs. Beware!

Had a mishap with pur moving truck and ended up having to stop. The staff in the morning were so bright and cheerful and sweet, the man that chexked us in was very accommodating… best experience at an econolodge I have ever had.

Check out was supposed to be at 11 but the key card went out sometime between 9 and 10 we had one staff walk in without knocking and we also had another staff that creeped up on my life as she walked out to the car we booked about an hour out of Tupelo and when we got there they still didn't have a room ready and took us about 20 20 minutes to get in to get it all the paperwork done and stuff when I should have all been done we booked through Priceline.

For the money it's extremely nice compared to other places great service clean rooms.

I stayed here may 24, 2018. Got bit by bed bugs all over. About 4:30 in the morning called the office. They put me in another room, next door THAT room was dirty. Charged me full price for 2 nights. I checked out. Bed bugs bad.

I have a buddy visiting from out of state, and while at a the mall a big fight broke out between him and his girlfriend. Well to make a long story short, you have having a switch places that he was staying, the econolodge happened to be the closest one, but he could stay at that, was extremely reasonable, and was very nice, is clean and well worth the short walk, you would have to take to get to his job is almost over, so he's been here about 3 weeks, and he is enjoying every bit of it, and I am enjoying visiting highly, suggest if you are around that area, stop in for a short vacation. If you live here, if you're here busy, stay there, well worth it.

Room definitely had not been vacuumed. Obvious items in the floor. Dusty and sticky surfaces.

Don't stay here. The new management is very rude and very pushy. They have fired all their desk help and it takes forever to get checked in or to get a key redone when you can't get in the room. I waited in line behind another customer checking in who was paying cash and it took them almost 15 minutes to register that person because they could not operate the check-in application. I waited 15 minutes for someone to come to the desk so that I could get in my room when the key did not work anymore. They are trying to run the place with no front desk help other than the two people who stay at the hotel. It definitely creates a problem when you need assistance. Also the bathrooms are not cleaned well. Mine still had urine on the floor which meant it had not been mopped. Wi-Fi service also doesn't work most of the time. It drops the connection and then may reconnect but most of the time I had to manually connect again. I had to run the A/C unit in my room on Fan mode because it wouldn't work otherwise. Also, they water is not hot at all and I like to take hot showers. I guess they have turned down the temperature of the hot water system in an attempt to save a few pennies once they took over. I will certainly be staying at another hotel the next time I visit Tupelo, Mississippi. I've been staying at the Econolodge for almost two years and have always been treated very well by the previous management.

We arrived at about 9:30pm with two kids who were exhausted from driving all day. We got a good price but we overpaid. First problem was that the door didn't work correctly. It took us about 10 tries to get it to open. Second, immediately upon entering the room the smoke detector beeped. Upon inspection it had no battery in it and kept on beeping.   Third, we tried to call the front desk but the phone didn't work. We had to call with our cell phone. After waiting for a long time, my husband walked down to the front desk to get a battery. He was not able to get one and was told to wait for the maintenance man to come. Fourth, while waiting for the maintenance man, we found out that the toilet does not flush. We called with our cell phone to the front desk about this issue also. Fifth, for some unknown reason the alarm clock was hidden under the bathroom sink… we didn't even try to plug it in to see if it worked. My kids managed to fall asleep otherwise we would have left. We stayed here so we could get some much needed sleep while traveling. We waited up for the maintenance man for 45 minutes (we had been told he would be 10-15 minutes) before my husband walked down to the front desk again to see if someone was coming or if we could get a different room. At 10:40 we were moved to the room next door which smelled of smoke, even though it was a non smoking room, but it was quiet and everything seemed to work.

Poor customer service. My husband put $5 in vending machine to get nothing then was called a liar and theif… SMH. Over $5… even a worker witnessed it. No wonder it's a 2 star hotel.

Very friendly staff, room was very clean. Overall nice hotel considering its age. Both beds were comfortable, TV was a good size, price of the stay was competitive and fair.

I had a coupon but she said I could not use it unless I made a reservation online. The coupon said on a walk in basis, and I pointed it out, but she still refused. I stayed anyway because I had been driving for almost 12 hours and needed the sleep. Room was comfortable though.

Our "non-smoking" room smelled like a stale ashtray and there were burns in the bedding. The room felt dirty and was very overpriced! We won't be back.

If offer better rates they can't keep the wall people from Satan from brother in folks in all honesty the can't keep these people cage up.

I would like to give this motel a 4.6 rating. Staff was friendly and helpful. We were able to check in early. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. A swimming pool is available as are a fitness room, washer and dryer. The location is convenient to anything one would need related to shopping but the room was quiet. We slept well & enjoyed coffee by the pool in the morning. The facility is pet friendly, too.

Could be a little more updated. Had some wax on a nightstand and some sticky candy or him on office chair, but overall cozy. Bed was a little hard and made noise every time someone moved. Nice for the price. We stay at Econo Lodge in Lenoir City, Tennessee and I guess I was expecting a room like that. Front desk was great and helpful. Housekeeping was great as well! Will stay again, just would like to see it updated some.

Personnel we're very friendly and helpful. Rooms very clean, breakfast plentiful. Would recommend to anyone. Staff has exceptional customer service​ skills.

The only thing good about this hotel is the location. This hotel is horrible. I stayed here because a family member made the reservation for me due to holiday traveling and when we got there it was very cold so I asked to be on the bottom floor because I had THREE children. The first TWO rooms heater was not working so she moved me to a room upstairs. That room was extremely cold, me and my kids had to wait hours just for the room to warm up, the sitting chair in the room had STAINS on it, the sheets on one bed had a stain on it, the bathroom toilet and bath tub was disgusting and the room smelled like smoke when we had a non smoking room, and there were BOTTLES under the bed! The rooms are just very out dated and needs a MAJOR update. I called the corporate office the next day to tell them about this and they tried to offer me POINTS instead of a refund and I am still waiting on a response! If you want somewhere to stay for a QUICKIE than this would be the place but other than that, the staff is not friendly, the rooms are nasty, and the whole place needs a major makeover.

Good stay at a great price! Clean room, microwave and fridge, new TV with many channels, secure and next to the Mall. Not far from the interstate either. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. For $67 you can't beat it, best hotel I've stayed in in the Choice Hotel family. Breakfast is continental, smoking and non smoking rooms.

Rooms were ok. The pool was rather small and very cloudy.

The staff were friendly, and the price I paid for the room + amenities was appropriate. I gave it three stars (for Econolodge in Tupelo, MS) because some parts of the bathroom did not look very clean when we arrived. Otherwise I would have rated 4.

I like the directv. Kept me from boredom.

This place is literally right by the mall, so everything you need is right there. Reasonable prices, decent room. Could use a deep clean, but for $60 I'm not complaining. Nice pool with a handicap chair that lets down into the water.

Pretty good for the price. No elevator for second floor, big tvs though and close to mall.

We were headed to gulf shores when we stopped here around 1am for the night. Shortly after we all got to sleep my daughter woke us up saying something was biting her. Long story short… need bugs ate her up. YES we actually saw the bugs when we pulled the sheets back and took evidence to office. By 3 am we were in different room but as bad as they were I would think someone else would have noticed. New room was ok but it took about a week of enduring welps on face, arms, belly and lots of itching before she was ok again physically but now we check before getting in bed. PEOPLE pull the sheets and covers back, check the mattress etc… before climbing into bed.

Very good staff. Rooms were clean — — they need to clean the filters in the airconditioners, etc. I popped mine out and washed it, the air seemed better after that. Full cable with mostly everything, great waffles and coffee, etc. In the mornings by the office. It was a good value overall.

Dirty carpets water in the sink didn't work the air barely worked and the shower water only had scalding hot water no cold water what so ever and the room smelled bad.
