Dirty and falling apart. Best thing was the breakfast. I even told them about the room and nothing was done. So much for them caring about their Diamond members.

Hotel is in a good location surrounded by great restaurants. The breakfast, all though not included, is worth the money. The bed was extremely comfortable. Proximity to train tracks will only be problematic if you get a room facing Main St. I had a room facing the event center and never heard the train while in my room. Maintenance is lacking in some of the rooms and the maintenance they did do was done poorly. Hotel should undergo a remodel in the near future. Co-worker I traveled with had the treadmill power down while in use and the other treadmill already had an out of order sign on it.

Couldn't check in on time, at 3. Room wasn't ready. Tv didn't work, called the front desk and they said maintenance would be back tomorrow, well we only stayed 1 night. Room was not clean, soap in bathroom had been used. Will never stay here again!

Friendly staff, comfortable bed, nice room. The bathroom floor seemed dirty, like they had mopped with dirty water. The tub didn't drain well, so I was standing in soapy water, but the water was hot and the shower had good pressure. Unfortunately, there wasn't any shampoo available, though I did have shower gel and conditioner.

I'll start out with the positives. The breakfast was great and the cafe staff were wonderful. The housekeeping staff were also all very upbeat and friendly. Good location as downtown is within walking distance. That's the good, the negatives are many, unfortunately. We're Hilton Honors members and stay in many Hilton's. This one was the worst. The rooms are humid, smelly, and not kept up. The bathrooms had rust. The air conditioner leaked onto the floor and left the carpet soaking wet. We had ants in our room! The parking lot is very small and right next to a convention center. There were several events at the center and the hotel made no effort to keep the parking reserved for guests. Many guests had to park blocks away on the street. Out of 4 front desk staff, 1 was friendly and helpful. The others seemed bothered and reluctant to help. The pool was closed for several hours because of somthing floating in it that looked suspicious. HOURS — and they didn't know what it was. Turned out it was only leaves but this was later on in the afternoon. We brought our family here for a wedding and booked rooms for them. It was very embarrassing. The only reason I gave it a 2 instead of a 1 is because of the great cafe staff.

Rooms are good. Love the king size bed. Too bad this one had a pay for breakfast instead.

We LOVE this hotel. The staff is wonderful, breakfast is amazing and the location could not be better. This is our girls weekend hotel — half way for everyone. The pool is great but the jacuzzi is even better! The mall is a short drive away and there are tons of spas around to get pampered! If you get a chance to stay here you won't regret it!

ATTENTION! I paid 125 for one night. (Sat) on Tuesday they took 250 out of my account. Said the room was trashed and someone had "poured" kool aid all over the mattress along with rubbing chocolate into it! What!? First, Any trash was put in the trashcan, and all the towels piled up. When I LEFT the room it was fine. (I forgot to put out the remaining milk from the fridge and even felt bad about that) I don't know what happened after I left at eight but it had to be someone from the staff damaged the room if that all is true. I am 40 yrs old and have stayed in hotels around the world both as a civillian and soldier. I know how to leave a damn room. Now, the original review below is all still true, but sure as hell not worth 400 dollars. The rooms are spacious and clean. The lobby and dining area were also very modern and clean. The indoor pool was the highlight of the stay for us. It has a spacious hot tub/jucuzzi that this momma loved and the gym is well equipped if you wanna get your workout on. I would suggest putting a rubber mat next to the elevator by the pool. It is so slippery.

The dining staff are great and give you a good laugh to start off your day.

No heat in the hallways on the first floor. At. All. Furnishing are showing a lot of wear and tear. Two separate guests were complaining as I was checking out about pipes making noise in the wall all night. Thought the Hilton would have continental breakfast but no. It cost me $22 for 2. Bed was not comfortable either. It was hard and I did not sleep well either night. Also. The filter in the air unit needed to be cleaned. I have a sinus migraine from all the dust now. On the up side, the employees were amazing and so nice! They all need a raise!

The staff is very friendly. The manager was walking around at breakfast talking to guests to ensure they were having a good experience.

Room was comfortable. Beds were memory foam making for a fantastic night's sleep. Shower was hot with good pressure. Pool, Hot tub and a fitness center with a pull up bar and resistance machine make for a well rounded stay.

Free parking but the breakfast is not. There are tesla changing stations available for electric cars. There are a few restaurants nearby and the arena is right next door. If you're staying overnight for a shoe the place is excellent. The standard rooms are a little tight but manageable. There are only paper cups, so bring your own wine glasses.

I am staying at the hotel due to work. I come in the hotel to check-in and the front desk clerk asks for my ID and a credit card. I explain that I am here for work and the company is the one paying for hotel. Instead of her asking how to handle the situation she turns me away to serve the people behind me. I am a Hilton Honors member and due to work I live in hotels for the Benefit enrollment season and I have never been treated this way. I asked to speak to the manager and s…he was very non-nonchalant about the situation. I called the company travel agent and he said he had sent this information more than 3 times and apologized the clerk had me sitting in the lobby when it was taken care of. After a long day of flights and driving more than an hour to get to the hotel, I am in a room where the hvac unit sounds like a mack truck or train is powering right through it. I have an early morning start with long 11 hour work days and this is not going to work! I also asked to be given a new room and the front desk stated I am sorry the hotel is booked. This room is run down and no one should be staying in this room until it is fixed… I am very unhappy.

Went here for a work event, should've had two rooms for what we were doing but instead we got stuck in a kinda-small room with a partition we had to pull out. Don't know if that was the hotel's fault or our company's, just rating on my experience. All of my interactions with the staff were top-notch though.

Great hotel. Very clean and has nice amenities including a restaurant and indoor pool. Will stay here again.

Everyone at the Hilton Garden Inn was so friendly and accommodating! Especially a Ms Liz that works the evening shift! She couldn't have been any nicer or more helpful!

Overall nice place with many amenities such as restaurant, bar, pool, hot tub, and complimentary items, but just a bit worn. Walking distance to downtown area was a big plus for us.

Got there late and they were very nice and made sure we had everything we needed. I liked how when we checked In, they gave us a bag with two waters. I have to have water to go to bed. It was definitely appreciated. Also, my 4 year old was starving. We didn't visit the diner because it was late but he was so excited about their pantry. Picked out his late night snack and out he went. Rooms were very clean. Furniture is a little big for the room but still nice that they make sure you have everything you need. Loved having a fridge and microwave in the room. I know where I'm going when I head that way again! Also huge shout out to Amy who was working the front desk, super sweet!

Friendly, exceptional staff from the front desk to housekeeping. Clean, updated rooms with nice amenities such as smart TV, Keurig coffee makers, and onsite dining/lounge area in lobby. Shower has great water pressure. Bathroom bright and clean. Close to several quirky restaurants and stores. Definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Staff was awesome, very nice, and helpful. Hotel was very dirty and had a really strange smell. Not the best Hilton garden I have stayed at and was definitely expecting more.

Hotel was clean and modern. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Only one elevator and no parking on the sides of the building so it was quite the trek to our room with all of our luggage. The breakfast is $9.95 per person which seems high for the price of the room. I like Hilton hotels but I most likely will not be staying at a Garden Inn again if given a choice between it and a similar hotel.

The hotel itself was clean, and located in the perfect spot for walking to dinner, the arena, and brunch. The beds were comfortable and the hotel staff was kind. My complaint is with the general manager, who was rude and unprofessional. He wore ripped jeans and had a drink in his hand when he came to our room to tell us about a noise complaint. Of course, because of his attire and demeanor, we did not know that he was the manager, so we shut the door in his face. Out of kindness for other guests, and even though there were at least 6 other rooms on our floor with people playing music and their doors open, we turned ours off immediately, left the room and went outside. He continued to be very rude to us outside, even though we had done as he asked, and even though he still had not shown us any proof that he was the manager. Also, he was still in street clothes and drinking. It is a shame he acted this way, as we have business in town and will no longer utilize his hotel, nor will our clients.

We could never connect to the "free" Wi-Fi. We went to the front desk and they couldn't help with the connection (THEY DIDN'T TRY VERY HARD). The adjustable beds were uncomfortable. The bed didn't seem to change after setting the dial. Also, there was a big hump in the middle of the bed. The restaurant was closed to the visitors because there was a conference being held. I will not be staying here on my quarterly visits to Tupelo!

The hotel was very clean and well kept. Rooms were neat and well equipped. The hotel boasted a choose your comfort bed, but, they felt the same no matter what comfort you chose. One downsize is no complimentary continental breakfast. It had a nice assortment of breakfast items in the rearaurant/bar area, but it did cost extra money. Overall, a nice hotel for a short visit to Tupelo.

The Hilton had very clean rooms and a great breakfast. Only complaint is they weren't ready for us to check in until almost five and we had made our reservations months in advance.

Eddie in the cafe was a fantastic host. Front desk service was extremely slow for check in and check out. Rooms were great!

Friendly staff but no hot water in my room and miserably stiff bed compared to other Hilton garden inn properties.

The Hilton was very upscale for the location. Affordable and beat place in town.

Good location right in downtown Tupelo. Within walking distance of many local businesses. The rooms were very nice. Hotel staff were very courteous and helped whenever and however they could.

Great hotel, I love their makeup remover towelettes they offer. Only stayed for 12 hours, but it was a nice stay, no complaints.

When I walked in and stood in line to be checked in the lady at the desk (Porsha) didn't even ask me for my name. She just stood there and looked at me. When I realized that's why she was looking at me I gave her my name and then she didn't even tell me what my room number was, how to connect to internet (if I needed a password, code, free, cost etc), nor did she give me any type of direction on how to get to the elevators to get to my room. I do look young so I'm thinking that could be the reason I was treated poorly however that is NOT an excuse. You should treat people with respect regardless of how young they look. I'm 24 BTW and do a lot of traveling for work. I am actually a HH customer, but this will be my last time staying at the Hilton. I can't/will not accept bad customer service. Not only that it is extremely humid on the elevator and in the hallways. I'm not sure why the air is not on but IMO that is also unacceptable.

Pretty good for business travel. Good cookies that they refill when they run out, nice. No bedbugs on my inspection. Would stay again.

On our way to Florida, we decided to take a brake from our long trip and stopped at this HILTON GARDEN INN. When we got in, our impression was good. Nice atmosphere, the employees were friendly and the rooms were very clean. We were impressed. Safe y quiet. Thank you to all the people working at this location.

The rooms are really good but the service and people are absolutely great. From the front desk to the service personnel to even the guy cleaning the floor — these are the most genuinely friendly people I have seen in a hotel. I have stayed in hotels all over the US including resorts in Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama and Ambergris Caye Island Belize. None of those service people come close to matching the friendliness and service of the people at this hotel. If you are in NE Mississippi, especially Tupelo — do yourself a favor — stay here.
