This motel was the worst I have ever stayed in. The room was not clean when we went in. There was used soap on the sink and in the tub… yuck. The carpet was so dirty, it was gross. We asked the next morning to have our room cleaned, but they never came. We had to go down to the lobby to get more towels. Then we asked for them to clean it the next day… nope, didn't happen. We stayed three nights and they never cleaned our room. Then, the last night we were there (which was a Monday night) … the thugs came and partied all night in the room next to us and across the hall from us. They spilled alcohol all in the elevator (which was still there when we left the next day). Their door opened and closed (slammed) every couple of minutes until after 2 am. Plus there was sex happening, because you know the walls are paper thin. It sounded like folks were fighting a couple of times. At one point they tried to open the door between our room and theirs! I think they were dealing drugs and possibly running prostitution out of the rooms… we saw the next morning they were all locals. Why else would locals need to stay at a motel and party all night.? When we complained, the front desk knocked a whopping $25 bucks off our entire bill… geez… I guess that's supposed to make it better. We will never stay at a Best Western ever again. We will pay a little extra to stay at a more upscale place. Please don't stay here, it sucks bad.

We arrived to a filthy room with used soaps in the shower and on the sink. Found a used snort straw on the floor by the bed. Requested the room be cleaned and made up once by request to desk and card on the door 2 days. Never done. Adjoining room had party last night with people in and out, fights and loud sex in room. People knocking on door all night. The door between our rooms was attempted to be opened. The occupants were locals. One rode down in elevator with me. Smelled like pot and liquor. When we left they were sitting in car next to ours waiting on last roomie to wake up. Maids were at the desk laughing and playing when we left. I had to go down to get towels and trash bags. Trash was never emptied. Carpets were nasty. Elevator was a wreck with sticky floors from spilled liquor from party crew room 401 and 402. We were in 404. Not much sleep while waiting on a shooting from a drug deal or unsatisfied prostitution customer. This place is a dump and I will drag my camper from the coast and pay for the high priced gas and camp sites before I stay there again. Hope manager reads his reviews. If you do, you have my number, call me.

I do not recommend this hotel… we checked in on Saturday afternoon, as soon as we walked in we already knew it was not good, the floors was not vacuumed our bed looked like someone had sat and rolled around on it before leaving, the pull out mattress bed was already made, working in housekeeping I know you’re supposed to leave that one clean of all sheets & blankets. (for hygienic purposes) who knows how long those sheets have been on it and they where most likely used… the refrigerator was very dirty with a orange substance and crumbs, you can tell it wasn’t cleaned not to mention it was broken so it would rock back and forth every time you opened it. Our toilet seat was so broken every time you sit down you would literally almost fall of of the toilet itself. None of the employees wore a mask at all, they where also so rude and not pleasant to deal with even the “supervisor” when we had arrived to breakfast we was told it started at 6am to 10 am, when I told her that one of her employees told us that the previous day she automatically snapped back and said “no we didn’t I was here yesterday” mind you we checked in at 4pm and we didn’t see her once that day as she was not there… she was very rude and unprofessional. As for the housekeepers and front desk people that’s a whole different story, they are very rude and do not look professional or act professional at all.

They think outside of the hotel box to provide their weary guests with above par, large rooms, customer services & an actual HOT MEAL! Would give them more than 5⭐️ if I could! Please stay here. You will not be sorry!

Needs coffee pots that actually work but other than that it is an awesome place to stay.

No breakfast there pool was close carpets was filthy in the hallways smell like some one smoking in the building people's running up and down the hallway. Will sleep in my car the time.

When I called to make reservation I asked for a room downstairs closest to the front desk. I stayed at a hotel last year in Virginia for a murder happen next to me and I heard it all. I was told no problem on phone and when I got there, they put me on the 2nd floor, room at the end. Hair on pillows on bed, in bath tub and in bath towels. Call these front desk and they told me they will leave a note for the morning. They brought me 2 pillows and cleaning supplies so "I" can clean the bathtub. Towels, were just gross. Called 800 number-customer service. Got nowhere and didn't care. I was called 3 times in 20 minutes asking me if I was done with cleaning products from front desk. Sorry for being tired as I drove for 12 hours and could care less about you wanting your cleaning products back. How about having a clean room I paid for? Next morning I received a telephone call from front desk at 7:59am asking if I wanted the room cleaned. Really?

We only stay at BW Plus when we travel. Today when we got here tho we found out they aren’t serving breakfast now because of the coronavirus. Thought they might knock some off the price but they didn’t. So still a nice place to stay but call first if you plan on breakfast. That’s key for us! Guess we will find someplace to eat in the morning.

Would be very nice. If the breakfast would contain something that a diabetic can eat Biscuits and gravy are awesome. But just something we cannot eat. And stay on our diet.

Great location! Clean spacious rooms! Swimming pool area is really nice, a bit dark at night but overall it’s beautiful, peaceful and the kids loved it!

Great room! Clean and well appointed. AC is cold. Staff is great. Breakfast and Manager's Reception is very good. Common Areas (hallways and elevator) could be cleaner, but very good overall. Will return!

The beds were comfortable and close to interstate, shops & restaurants, only complaint the house keeper left our door open after our room was clean. Thank goodness nothing was taken.

Made reservations for the new member rate of $85. Was suppose to receive a $20 gift card from signing up. At check-in the rate was $119. After adjustments $3. Was removed. Long story. The room was not fresh, had to request a microwave and went out and bought disinfectant spray and wipes and freshened the room. This was our one night away from home to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary. So much for trying a new spot. Home was fresher and no one else hair in my sink. Yes long story. The breakfast lady and a gentleman that worked there were so very nice, but the young man at check-in and the lady at the desk had ugly attitudes. Not a grand way to close out a anniversary celebration.

We stay at this hotel every summer on our drive from Tulsa to grandparents in South Carolina. It is clean, kid friendly, and close to everything… and offer great free breakfast. Every stay has been great!

This hotel is located in a great area. Surrounded by several restaurants, a mall, a bunch of other shopping stores, and the best movie theater in Tupelo MS. It has a salt water in door pool. I was disappointed that there was no hot tub and the patio is real big. The suite we had was huge! Almost like a condo. The bed was so comfortable and clean. The refrigerator worked really well and froze all my water bottles which was great for my long trip back to KY. I didn't like that there wasn't a microwave in the room which irritated me because I wanted to eat popcorn while enjoying a movie. However my overall experience was great! I will definitely stay again and will recommend anyone to stay. Keep in mind that paying cash when you arrive isn't a good idea make sure that your money is on a card or in your bank account.

We stayed at this Best Western Plus twice in a week, June 13 and 18, during our trip to and from Florida for our grandson's wedding. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. Decor was pleasant and several good restaurants were w/i walking distance. The rooms were fresh and clean, and the beds were very comfortable, which is vial to us. The front desk staff was friendly, personable and helpful. We especially liked Heather, who worked the evening shift on June 18. She went over and above to address our needs. The breakfast was warm and good. There was one problem during the first stay, June 13. Although the room was mostly fresh and clean, the maid didn't finish vacuuming. There was a plastic water bottle and other debris on the floor. We assumed she got side-tracked and forgot. We were so tired that we didn't report it, as otherwise the room was spotless. Everything was perfect during our stay on June 18.

Picked this hotel from high reviews, but I think they were faked. My 1 year old son found the previous room occupant's fake nails on the floor and the hallway carpets were terribly stained and filthy. The morning front desk attendant never stays there and was either out smoking or sitting down back behind the desk and I had to wait each time for check out. She wasn't very friendly while taking a phone call either. There was a beggar in the parking lot at night while my husband was out getting something from our van with the tailgate open with all of our stuff packed. We were concerned about a break in so he moved to a closer spot. Breakfast is what you can expect from a free meal, but there were no high chairs so we had to hold my son to eat. We will likely pick a different hotel the next time we go to the beach and need an overnight stop there and back.

Don't have a single complaint or suggestion. We were extremely satisfied with every aspect of our stay and will definitely stay again! Thank you, to each and every employee there!

There were obvious repairs that were not repaired properly. Mostly when my bathroom floor got wet I wiped it with the floor towel. It was amazingly filthy. The air was off in the room and we didnt arrive until about 8PM. It took until about 3 AM for the room to cool off. It was a rather miserable night. Way to much money for a hot Ho bathed room!

Very clean hotel with friendly staff. Probably the best free hot breakfast from a hotel that we've had. Pool was clean and warm. Beds were great. Would highly recommend it!

Very impressed with this little hotel. The bed was very comfortable and room was a good size. Small issue we had in our room was the AC didn't seem to stay at temperature and the wall unit didn't work at all. Would stay again if we were in the area.

I love the fact that the hotel is newer than others in the area. The rooms are very nice and spacious. It's right next to the mall and other new stores and restaurants. They offer complimentary hot breakfast and light snacks and beverages in the evenings.

This is the second time we've stayed here. The front desk was helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was good. Overall, it's a very nice place to stay at a reasonable price.

We stopped in and was greeted by Carla. She was very professional and helpful. The facilities were extremely clean and beautiful. We would highly recommend anyone staying here. We will be back.

Phoned hotel and asked if pool was heated and this was late Saturday evening. The only reason why we came here is so kids could swim. They said yes. So instead of booking on phone I told her I could get cheaper online. So when we got there Monday the kids went swimming they said oh sorry there working on heat for pool. So the kids froze while swimming to where there lips turned purple. I spoke with another family there and they told me heat wasn’t working on Friday. So when I checked out they asked how was my stay and I said everything was fine except I wasn’t informed about heat when I called and they said oh we didn’t know until early Saturday and I said well I didn’t call until Saturday night and then they both looked at each other and said no it was Sunday when we found out about heat. Anyway other than kids turning to popsicles I guess it was fine but make sure which I thought I tried to do from the beginning that heat is working if your planning on coming in cool season just for swimming like we did. Oh and temperature in room was awful the heat was on when we got there and you couldn’t adjust it so we had to turn on air. So half the time we froze and the other half was hot.

Everyone is so friendly. The rooms are clean and spacious. We love the walk in showers. The breakfast is always great and there is always an abundance.

We had a wonderful stay at this location. The front desk staff were so helpful, and we were able to check in quickly. The room was comfortable, and had everything we needed. It was an excellent location if you wanted to be near restaurants, Malco theater, Best Buy, and several other businesses. It is also approximately 1/2 mile from Barnes Crossing mall. Definitely recommend.

This is an awesome hotel. There was no wait during the checkin. The lobby is always clean and you can get a couple free drinks. The checkout was also quick so I can get back to work. I think that if you're looking for a relaxing night, Best Western Tupelo Inn and Suite is the hotel for you.

This hotel has the BEST bed! The mattress was SO comfortable and appreciated! The staff was great too but I loved the bed. I got a really good nights sleep. We would defintely stay here again.

This property and staff are what one would expect from the best of Best Western. Have stayed here twice about a year apart and each stay was very well done. No problems, excellent service, good value well worth your consideration. I will return whenever my travels find me in the Tupelo area.

Great Accommodations! Clean Rooms, microwave, refrigerator, hair dryer with diffuser, makeup mirror, two free drinks per person from 5-7 pm, continental breakfast, everything you need while away!

Great place to stay and great rooms.

Nice place my only complaint being there a week was TV, it said had MSNBC went to desk twice they said weather was reason it didn't show. It only rained the first day. One person said they would seen some one up to check but no one every came. They didn't seem too concern about my request. Maybe, they felt, there are other channels which is true but if you pay to stay there be truthful if you don't have what you list as amenities. This my seem small but when one travels alone for business there are few things that matters like safety, the view and TV.

Wonderful experience with our group of 15 and that's saying something! I have not stayed at one in more than 20 years. Highly recommended.

The hotel was clean. The staff was wonderful and very attentive. The breakfast had a great choice of foods. The room was nice (great a/c! ). The walls/ceiling are a bit thin. I could hear everything in the hallway and all walking/jumping/playing through the ceiling from the room above mine. Otherwise, a very nice stay.

I can't say I would have changed anything about my stay here. My husband and I stayed for four nights and we would definitely recommend staying here. Everything from the friendly and helpful staff all the way down to the decorations. Our room was kept very clean, the pool was the perfect temperature, the free extra amenities avail. As well as the bottled water in our room, and the nice managers specials in the evening all added to the enjoyment of our stay.

The most unprofessional staff I have ever dealt with. Charged my card 250.00 without my knowledge or consent because their web site said they are pet friendly but they are not! Told them at check in about my feline and was pleased to find they didn't charge me a huge pet fee… NOT! We even cleaned our room to include throwing our trash out so housekeeping would not have to deal with the litter pan. I was on a cross country move with my 76 year old mom, my cat Biggs, a huge u-haul and a car in tow. I was tired, stressed and wanted to relax and rest. Little did I know I'd be paying for a suite in Vegas at your plain Jane hotel. NEVER have I experienced such unprofessional behavior by a staff at any lodging I have been to. And of course, because I wasn't expecting the charge, I had to eat it. Thank you, best western, for deprecating my account and showing me how tacky you can be.

Everyone from the front desk to housekeeping made every effort to see that I was happy with my stay! The location was good, the accommodations excellent, the price was right and the staff first rate. I think the Lady at the front desk ' s name was Amber G. If I got that wrong I apologize as she was great! I'll be staying there again.

Well maintained property! Up to date & very very clean. Breafast was delighful with scrambled eggs cooked to fluffy perfection. Bacon, bisciuts & gravy also just right. Happy hour nice unexpected treat. We had a very pleasant stay and feel that Holiday Inns should send a secret shopper to gather tips from Best Western.

Ladybug infestation, 2 days of lukewarm water, and a wet spot on carpet. There is also a donkey farm right next to the property. You ever smell a donkey farm? You ever heard donkeys being slaughtered in the middle of the night? It is horrible. My kids still have nightmares. The cute blonde manager did offer "to make up for it" but she looked like she might be a scraper, so I passed.

Honestly, I can't say enough good things about this hotel. I recently stayed here for a week while on a work related trip, and I was very impressed. The staff was very friendly, the hotel was very sophisticated and clean. They have every convenience you could ever need; from the salt water indoor pool, workout room, snack bar, and very appealing lounge area. I want to say a very special thank you to the one who cleans the rooms. They always made sure the room was stocked with clean linens, towels, coffee etc. No complaints at all. The area is also very convenient, close to restaurants, a movie theater across the parking lot, and the mall right down the road. I would most definitely stay here again. :)

I'm always happy to have a roof over my head. I do a lot of camping & to have a hotel room is a blessing no matter where or what it is. This Best Western is, hands down, the best hotel in this area. It's modern, clean & very pleasing to the eye. (I checked out the Holiday Inns via Google maps/reviews & they looked a bit sketchy. ) Excellent amenities in this hotel. Pantene products for hair. Microwave & fridge in room. Fabulous bed. The breakfast bar is tidy & the options are nice. Love that the Ribshack is across the street & Chili's is next door. Very pleasant stay! I also got 2 free cocktails in the hotel & 10% discount at Ribshack & Chili's.

I've only stayed here once, but the experience was exceptional! Extremely nice hotel with nice, helpful employees. I will stay here again.

I cannot describe how impressed I was with this hotel. Our stay was Sept 19, 2013. This is indeed the quality of a 5 star hotel. As one who worked at a 4 star in Mpls MN, I know of which I speak. Everything and everyone was 5 star. I'd rate it higher if I could. We plan on using this hotel every time we are in Tupelo. Thank you for making our stay so memorable.

Brand new, quite, clean, comfortable beds, and friendly staff. Good breakfast too.
