Rude staff. Overpriced rates. Room smelled like smoke. Felt more like a motel.

We are very disappointed. For the price we are paying. There is several issues we've had. The water coming out of the tub in our room is brown. I went to open the closet door to put our stuff away. The door came off track. I asked the lady at the front desk if maintenance could fix it after we came back from the pool? she said yes. I said I will notify the front desk when we are back in our room. She said ok. Well we were in our room changing. Here a knock at the door. And before I could get to the door. Maintenance door let themselves in. I was pissed. What if my girl's were standing there changing? I will be contacting corporate. Also my husband found a pill laying in the floor by the window. I searched it up. It was a pill for diabetics. Then I ordered the breakfast with our room. Well we were told I didn't. My kid's were disappointed over that. Just a very unsatisfied returning customers.

TV, bed and rooms are very small. It's okay for a one night stay but nothing beyond that!

We usually stay at Hilton hotels because we always have a great experience. The Hampton Inn was sold out so we stayed here. And to be honest? I’m glad we did! It’s an older building but everything is in good repair. The most important thing to us is cleanliness and comfort. This this is the cleanest hotel I’ve stayed at in a long time. And the bed? The bed is SO comfortable! So comfortable that I’m going to try to find out what mattresses they use! The staff here are very nice and accommodating as well. In short, a solid and super clean place to stay.

Horrible experience— room was either not vacuumed or not a thorough job. Stepped on an earring that was on floor. Food debris all over floor. Told front desk and IHG service, no response yet. Room phone doesn’t work. Room key stopped working!

Currently staying at a holiday Inn & Suites Cincinnati-Eastgate. Rooms are sub par, breakfast was awful, no one even entered our room to empty the trash! They said they don’t enter the rooms because of COVID-19, I don’t buy that; they don’t even empty the trash? And make sure you have everything you need for the next morning? Not satisfied at all. Not ever staying at a Holiday Inn again!

The bed was comfy but other than that I will never visit this location again… I paid full price for half of what they advertise. I paid 135$ a night for a small fuzzy TV, internet wasn’t very good, they told me I wasn’t able to have my service dog, no breakfast, had to sign up to use the pool… Never will I give them my money again…

I called looking for my daughters iPod multiple times. Just got off the phone with the GM who was a complete jerk to me, cut me off and was absolutely disrespectful! I was being polite and house keeping management made up all this bull crap about me that wasn’t true. I cannot believe this guy has a job at your hotel!

Outstanding staff! They made our stay feel awesome! Our other hotel overbooked and did not honor our reservation. Holiday Inn welcomes us and made sure we were comfortable! Clean rooms and very comfortable beds!

Awesome place to stay. Been going down to the pumpkin run nationals for over 40 years and this has been a family tradition to stay at holiday inn eastgate. Great staff, awesome room's and close to everything.

Stayed for 4 nights for a Convention. Hotel is older but clean and equipped with all the luxury’s needed. Great hotel staff.

Wonderfully stay! I was there for my daughters wedding. They very helpful. Let us use lobby sitting area to have a pizza party after Rehersal. I believe we used 7 room at a special rate. There were no complains about any of these room. All were used for 2 days or more. Housekeeper people were very helpful and pleasant. Even helped pack up bride and party to move into a different room after wedding. Check in was very smooth. I would stay there again. The only negative is I am handicapped and the walk from my room to lobby area/restaurant was very far. I needed to get a wheelchair for it.

Well placed hotel. The in building restaurant has a comfortable menu selection, good food, and a pleasant work stdaff. The hotel itself is nicely decorated and quiet, something not always possible with a near highway hotel. Front desk staff is always smiling and the rest of the staff pleasant and attentive.

We stayed overnight. Room was really clean. Hotel was quiet. Great location, not to far off 275. Great access to restaurants as well.

I would give 5 but no free breakfast I thought that was standard for most 100-150 rooms. But other than that real clean and attentive staff. I stay here anytime I come to Cincinnati even though no breakfast. Real good location.

As another reviewer stated, I did not feel safe at this hotel. I arrived just before 6pm. There was a pickup parked in the lot with 4 or 5 guys hanging out around the tailgate all drinking from the cooler of beer sitting on the bed. It wasn't a good first impression but I checked in anyway. When I went to get dinner an hour later they're still there. When I get back I decide to park on the opposite side of the hotel. There was a group of 3 or 4 guys doing the same. After eating I went back to get something from the car. Both groups still hang out drinking. Get to the car and there's a couple in the truck next to me also hanging out in the parking lot drinking. I went back inside to speak to the manager and explained that I probably wouldn't stay here again as having groups of people hanging out in the parking lot drinking makes me uncomfortable. He replied that it was ok they had video surveillance. I explained to him that that didn't make me feel safer, it only helped catch the person after the fact. His reply was "ok thanks. ". He was very obvious that he couldn't possibly are less about my concern. So I called the customer care line and they we're not happy to say the least. I basically told him they could take care of it or I could call the police and make a complaint about public drinking as most places drinking in public parking lots is illegal. He asked for 15 minutes to call the hotel and get them to take care of it. I gave them 30 and then called in a complaint.

Stayed one night at this hotel for a wedding nearby. Front desk and cleaning personnel in the halls were friendly. Check in was quick and easy. Rooms were clean although they could use an update. The bed was comfortable. There was a mini fridge and a microwave in the room. We didn't use them but it's always nice to have. My biggest complaint would be the elevators. We were on the 6th floor and it would take forever to get to us. Then on the way down, it stopped at every floor and the elevator was often full before we got to the lower floors. The elevator was really jerky when it would stop and when it would start to move. I didn't see an elevator inspection form either. Not sure if that's a requirement or not. Also overheard that one of the elevators often gets stuck so we opted to use the other one. We took the stairs down when we were checking out because we got tired of waiting for the elevators.

The hotel was nice. As a gold IHG member, I stay at alot of holiday inn hotels. We stayed in the two bedroom suite. The room had a few features that were clearly dated, but over all was nice and clean. The pull out couch was very uncomfortable, but the beds were great. The pool was a bit small, but nice. The hot tub was very hot which was good.

Our bed was uncomfortable, dirty linen from a previous guest was in the room, and toiletries were not replenished. We had an incident in the parking lot where another guest blocked our car, screamed profanities, refused to move his vehicle and police were called. Although manager was present for much of the incident, he refused to say anything to police. I called and asked for IHG to contact me and it has been 5 days and no phone call. Not a hotel chain that I will frequent in the future even though we are gold level club members. Postscript: I did finally talk to the manager and he was rude, talked over me and my conclusion is that he was upset because the other guest was platinum level and won't come back to the hotel because the police were called on him. I stand by my review.

Second floor room was clean and comfortable. The bar closed earlier than it was advertised. Our room window was facing the roof unit so it was kind of loud.

Clean, pleasant staff. Overpriced. Poorest restaurant I've ever seen associated with a hotel. One table occupied and waited ten minutes to be seated before leaving. Apparently hostess also waited on tables and did cooking. Included breakfast was also cheapest I have seen in years of business travel. Hotel takes advantage of required stays by local sports tournament. This association needs to be broken.

Comfortable but a little pricey.

Had a mini fridge and a microwave, as well as a coffee machine, in my room with two beds. Lobby was beautiful. Elevator was weirdly far from the lobby, so getting to rooms was a bit difficult, but the hotel accommodation was worth it.

Great service and food. Staff was very helpful. Would stay there again with my famy.

Very helpful, accomodating, and friendly staff. Rooms were clean and tidy. Very quick to respond with security when room next to us that had teenage boys started getting too loud and a little rowdy hitting the wall.

Beautiful hotel! Especially for the rate! Easy access to the interstate & in a perfect location close to many things! The restaurant in the hotel had some amazing wings! Breakfast was okay. Very limited & took them a long time to refill. Our beds were comfy. We found blood on one of our pillowcases but didn’t notice it until we were leaving the following day! Our shower was a little dirty-had hair in it & the tile really needed cleaned. So the bathtub just drained and never sealed off. The pool area was packed. Very very limited seats. But all in all not a bad stay at all! Staff was amazing!

Our family stays here when they are in town. The rooms are clean and spacious. No complaints.

Josh at the bar is the best. He has the best beer on tap. Burgers are top notch. I stay here every two weeks and always look forward to it.

The Hotel staff was professional and attentive to our needs. The rooms are clean and the upgrades are really nice.

Decent Hotel, minor remodelling was going on and a bit of inconvenience to get to rooms. Attached restaraunt was not the best good ever but at least it was a warm breakfast.

This was a beautiful hotel, and we got to stay in a 3 room suite very cheap. Would stay again. Especially in January.

While we didn't stay in the hotel, we did utalize the lobby to take pictures for the local school's winter formal! Their event space is always set up beautifully, regardless of the season and perfect for pictures!

We had our yearly Christmas party in their largest ballroom. The food and service is excellent. I do recall that their desserts tend to dry out if they are left on the table before guests arrive. The hotel is located off 275 exit next to Eastgate Mall. There is plenty of parking.

Had a buffet style dinner, not much food was available by the time we got to the lone wait staff stated, get in the other line there’s no more food to put out. During our ceremony we could hear the ceremony next to us being rowdy and extra loud with their DJ. This morning I was in a panic and asked for a late check in just by 30 minutes, instead the staff member at the front desk was rude. Stated that we all had to check out at the same time. Me being pregnant, exhausted and sick had to run upstairs with no luggage cart because they didn’t have many and none were available. Pack up and get it into my vehicle. I was late to this mornings meetings due to them not being okay for 30 minutes. I tried packing up everything last night and getting up early to get it situated but unfortunately things happened the night prior and I was just exhausted. Hope they don’t have another event at this place, was not meant for what we used it for at all. Plus the place is like a maze to get to the rooms and the hallways are cold.

I attended a conference in the hotel. The staff provided clean rooms, attentive service and catered our event. The food was okay, nothing to write home to Mom about. We had baked chicken, penne alfredo, green beans, and cake. I was not apart of the team that reserved the room, though they claimed it was an extraordinary value for what we were able to do for the 3 day conference.

Had dinner at the restaurant at the hotel. The menu is small but all of the food we had was delicious and high quality. There is a good selection of craft beer on tap also. I'll be back.

Nice lobby, friendly staff. Rooms are dark, outdated, dirty, and creepy. Not like fun haunted hotel creepy, just seedy and really uninviting. I travel a lot, and I feel uneasy here,

I don't think I have ever left a negative review, but feel I need to this time. How does this place have 4.3 stars!? Our room has carpet that is threadbare with holes and the ceiling is dusty/dirty. The furniture and decor is literally from the 80s (the complete set of encyclopedia Brittanica on the shelf in our room gives testament to this fact) … Don't be fooled by the pictures. I have stayed at much nicer places for much less money.

Overall terrible experience. I was checking in for a 14 day stay in one of their suites. I arrived around 130 which was a bit early however coming from west coast I arrived on a red eye flight. Originally I was told room was being cleaned and would be ready in about a half hour. 1.5 hours later even at 3pm which was standard checkin my room was not ready. I spent 1.5 hours in lobby with kids so it wasn’t like they didn’t know I was waiting. I finally left and went over to A competitor. Manager was very rude and just kept saying check in wasn’t until 3 even when room wasn’t even ready at 3. Very unaccomodating and offered no solutions, knowing I was exhausted and had been traveling for hours.

The hotel is not a typical Holiday Inn, it's beautiful! When you enter, there's a beautiful fountain and large sitting area. They also have incredible amenities a restaurant, bar, pool, workout center, office center, meeting rooms, everything you can imagine. The staff has been very helpful and friendly. I also feel safe with security in the building. I have been very happy so far with my stay! I would recommend the hotel to anyone.

We have hosted our student leader event here for 3 years and every year the staff including reservations, cleaning, sales, and banquet have done an incredible job! They have been professional, friendly, and accommodating for a group our size. Specifically, Carolyn in the restaurant, and Daryl and Darin in banquet services knocked it out of the park!

The staff was great and the rates were reasonable. The fountain in the lobby was awesome and the bar was great. I didn't get to try any of the food but it smelled delicious! I would definitely recommend staying here.

Very helpful and kind. Floors were very clean. Restrooms were clean and well stocked. Lobby smelled very pleasant. Air was comfortable. Drinks were served with jokes and questions. They were cold and delicious.

Stayed in a king room. The room was very clean and spacious. My kids used the pool. It also appeared clean. No complaints. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful hotel! We booked this room on Hotwire and were given a king suite! Simply beautiful. The bed and pillows are fabulous. It's so nice we are considering staying another night just because!

I went to the Holiday Inn hotel and Suites in Eastgate Cincinnati to attend a professional event. While I did not have a room, the staff was very helpful and courteous. Everything was clean and well-maintained. The lighting was appropriate and the atmosphere was calm and pleasant. I would certainly return here again, whether to hold or attend a professional function, or to rent a room.

Stayed here several times over the past 3 years. So, it was the obvious choice for our honeymoon. Convenient location to I275 with great connections to the Cincinnati area. Easy online reservation system that included my room preferences. Friendly staff at any hour of the day. Rooms I've stayed in are always clean and well maintained. Would highly recommend.

Local DJ who works this venue a few times a year, each time here the staff is awesome, food is great. I have never had a bad meal here!
Work the Bethel Blitz last night and always true to form staff was spot on!

It shows some age, elevators are slow (I've been on slower though) and pet friendly… we had a yap yap dog across the hall for 2 nights. We were on the top floor, 6 stories up, rather warm! No Continental Breakfast as part of your stay though McKennas is on site. McDonald's is across Eastgate Blvd and Bob Evans and Sonic are across Rt. 32 on Eastgate Blvd. Its a no smoking hotel, great inside, step outside and it looks like a chain smoker convention going on. The front desk staff were great, Allie was extremely perky, happy! She was able to help my wife with an extra room key when she locked herself out while I was at the Indy 500 with the other key. My son really enjoyed the fountain and waterfall inside. We would stay again if need be. Do book their Flexible Room rate though! If the price goes down before your stay you can get some money back.

Went for a small event. The hotel was nice and very accomodating. There were a lot of small conference rooms that were really nice and had enough room for the event.

I go there for our annual International Steampunk Symposium. Every year the Staff seems just as excited and into the convention as well and they have been wonderful to work with. The rooms are clean and it's very accessible. I just wish the restaurant there wasn't so expensive.

I attended a professional event in one of the conference rooms. The room was quite large but the table and chair placement was crammed together. The seminar was very informative. There is a restaurant in the hotel that had a buffet and very good food at a reasonable price.

Our two room suite was very spacious, and we enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi while we stayed at the hotel. The staff has all been very friendly and helpful, my girlfriend forgot to bring her leftovers when we ate at the bar, and our server ran after us and handed it to us.

Great service at the front desk, clean rooms, and a wonderful breakfast spread. It all added up to a pleasant overnight stay.

This hotel was convently located off the highway and was easy to get to. I was at a conference so I didn't stay in a room but the conference room was very nice and the bathrooms were clean and very nice too. I would recommend this hotel to a friend because I'm sure the rooms are nice too.

Clean rooms, always like the fridge in the room. Very courteous staff. Everyone greeted us and smiled no matter what they were doing.

Great location, lovely lobby, and great food, but all of the hallways to rooms smelled strongly of cigarettes.

So far, the hotel has been very accommodating, and I've very much enjoyed my stay. Can't wait till next time.
