Breakfast was cheap and inedible. I ended up having to to to McDonald's across the street. The towels were old and discolored. The bathtub and fridge looked like they haven't seen a good thorough cleaning in a long while. The front desk person was asleep in the back room when I arrived late at night and didn't have my card ready even though they had been notified that id be coming. She didnt card me or call the room to check that I was authorized to have a key card to my moms room… yeah… we will not be staying there again.
This is by far the best hotel we have found in the area. It's clean, reasonably priced, and the staff is always incredibly friendly. It's really close to Mayo Clinic, as well as a ton of things to do around the city, and really easy to find. They also have warm breakfast!
