The dinner was a top notch culinary experience! The room left us wanting for nothing. Shawn's greeting portrayed a quiet exuberance that motivated us to explore all of this beautiful inn. The Covid 19 protocols are the best I've seen and are consistent throughout. I highly reccomend this place and these people!

We had our 30th wedding anniversary dinner here this week. We made reservations the day before and they were very accommodating. Our server was excellent, as was the food. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

By far a jewel in Saugatuck Michigan. Shaun the proprietor is a thoughtful welcoming host and to say the least one of the best chefs I’ve ever had the pleasure of dining with! I highly recommend a weekend getaway.

We recently spent our anniversary at the Belvedere and it was nothing short of spectacular! Although we missed Shaun and his wonderful cooking this trip our innkeeper Nancy made our stay more than wonderful. I truly cannot say "THANK YOU" enough to both of you! We stayed at the Belvedere this September, it was nothing short of perfect. The room was spotless and the service was amazing. Quiet and restful was our theme for the night and that is what we received. The breakfast was done perfectly and the communication upon confirmation of the room was on point. We will do this again.

It is a very elegant setting and the grounds and restaurant are beautiful. Was very disappointed in my food though. Have been there in the past for my anniversary and was 10 outta ten. This time ordered surf and turf and lobster was so under prepared was almost like eating it raw. Steak asked for medium to medium well and was waiting for steak to walk off plate on its own, was so red and barely cooked. Waitress was wonderful, but tried to walk grounds after dinner and mosquitoes almost carried me away. Spent almost $150 on my meal alone and was extremely unhappy. Don’t usually ever complain, even though sure hard to believe after this post, but probably, for what 4 of us spent for dinner and cocktails, very doubtful, will ever go back again. Was trying to make an annual tradition, but will probably spend my money elsewhere for my fancy meal, next time come to town. Also, 8 o’clock seating on a Saturday and only 4 or 5 other tables occupied.
Did not give 4.8 outta 5, was done automatically for me, and would not allow me to change. Probably give 2.5 outta 5

Enjoyed a wonderful dinner and then sat on the back patio and played with the resident ducks! They were absolutely adorable.

My husband took me there last night with four of our friends for my birthday dinner. It is a beautiful place. The setting is very romantic and relaxing. We had excellent service and the food was outstanding! I would definitely recommend it! You won’t be disappointed! I hope to go back again someday!

What a joke this establishment is. Tried to make a reservation for dinner 1 month in advance after being given the recommendation from our inn keeper for a special romantic dinner. The gentleman and I use that term loosely was nothing short of RUDE. I was told that because I was not a guest of THEIR establishment and it was the holiday season that he would not take my resveration and to call back the week before my stay to see if they had any availability. Are you kidding! Not only would I never stay at their establishment but if was the last restaurant on earth I wouldn't eat there. I will defiantly let my friends know of this unprofessional attitude.

This place is beyond amazing! I'm utterly impressed with Shawn and his staff. They exude professionalism. My only complaint is that it's not located in Chicago! Bon Appetite!

My husband and I shared New Years Eve at dinner with Sean and the staff at the Belvedere. At dinner I recalled my experience travel across the UK and staying at inns of all shapes and sizes. We had a five course meal. Butternut squash soup with crab meat, fresh greens salad, sorbet, entree, and desert. We were also served fresh baked bread with honey butter. I had the vegetarian dish; fresh ravioli pasta stuffed with butternut squash, walnuts and herbs with Parmesan cream sauce and julienne vegetables. The flavor was stellar and the by far the best meal I can remember in a long time. He had the crab stuffed sole over saffron rice with grilled lobster on the side. We both greatly enjoyed the lemon sorbet; so refreshing! We thoroughly enjoy dinner and brunches at the Belvedere Inn and will return again soon!
