We are still here! The tiny round brownies Jules set out tonight for Wickwood Inn B&B guests are the most delicious brownies I've ever tasted! Crunchy outside with a rich, oh-so-dark-chocolatey interior. I will dream of these.

Amazing atmosphere, food, and staff!

The inn is on the north end of downtown and close to the chain ferry. There is a dedicated parking lot on the property. We were in the "Summer in Santorini" room, and it was a cheerful, summery room. The breakfast was delicious and conversations with the other guests were very pleasant. Many shared as we did. The evening small plates and wine was also delicious. The B&B experience is not something you will get at a chain hotel. Kudos to the staff!

My girlfriend and I stayed at Wickwood for two days. Wickwood Inn was such a lovely place to stay. The decor was very true to the vibe they are aiming for, and the food was very good. Janet was an AMAZING Inn Keeper, she was so friendly, informative and had such a vibrant personality. We would definitely recommend this place to stay!

Very clean. Quaint B&B in Saugatuck offers a quiet retreat. Great breakfast and cocktail hour. Nice place to relax. Room was small but functional. Wished there was more comfortable outdoor seating — there were tables and chairs for eating outside.

We went for the evening sips and small plates. Everything exceeded our expectations. We will definitely go back and next time we want to book a room for a weekend stay.

If you’re planning a stay in saugatuck, you have to try the wickwood b&b once. Warning: you’ll never stay anywhere else. It’s at the end of downtown, so going to the stores is short tree lined walk. You’re one block from the park/river free music on Wednesday nights. They serve small plates every night that are called appetizers, but be careful, they are so delectable and abundant you’ll spoil your dinner. Sweets at 7 or 8 mean I didn’t have to buy fudge or ice cream after dinner. Coffee all day! Now the best for last, a gourmet breakfast. Don’t want to mislead you, there may not be fried eggs, but we’ve had frittatas yesterday (an asparagus with sun dried tomatoes and a little green pepper for spice), chicken sausages, three kinds, a fruit mix, hard boiled eggs, breads, a lime poppyseed cake, yes lime, loved it. There was more and more. They have an English garden where we ate most snacks/meals. Did I say coffee all day? I know I did. Beds are comfy. Place is clean and so cute (so I was told, it looked good to me too). This was our third stay and will go back. With the breakfast and snacks, the room cost is almost your total, a lunch on the river and your set.

After our wedding and so many different celebrations, the Wickwood Inn was a most tremendous welcoming place. A bottle of champagne and signed cookbooks were waiting for us on arrival. A small tour of the place showed a very proper, clean facility and very enthusiastic staff. Brochures were available to explore activities which was awesome since it was our first time. We loved loved loved this place.

Love, love, love this B&B. Amazing staff, more than amazing breakfast and afternoon social spread for the guest. Just an awesome experience from booking to leaving. Truly worth it.

The food and the friendliness of the staff are what stand out most. Having stayed at may B&B's I've grown to expect a certain level hospitality and Wickwood Inn stands out as one of the best. That being said, the bathroom that was in our room does need some updating/repairs. The bathtub/shower stall is an old fiberglass type that would be found in your typical summer cottage rental but doesn't really belong in an upscale B&B. The bathroom door does not close properly unless you lift it up and force it closed. The bathroom sink does not have a drain stopper built in (it had one but it has been removed) so there is a rubber stopper provided but nothing to prevent your ring or toothpaste cap from falling into the drain. The garbage can is outside the bathroom and is one that has a metal lid that requires removal to use the can. A step-on can or an open can would be an improvement. I know it seems like I'm going on and on but honestly these issue could be remedied easily and then it wouldn't seem like it was overpriced. Everything else was great!

The Wickwood Inn is a gorgeous and charming hotel! My other half and I thoroughly enjoyed our stays at there. Both the rooms and suites are so beautifully decorated, the innkeepers are always so friendly plus truly helpful and don’t get me started on the food! I am craving a tasty popover at this very moment. They even offer delicious things to eat throughout the day and evening, too. If you are a foodie and like to cook, like us, it is perfect that sometimes you can find a recipe for what you’ve eaten at the Inn on their website blogs. Plus, they sell Silver Palate Cookbooks – the inn is owned by the author and her husband. This is our favorite place to stay (and eat) when we are in Saugatuck, for sure!

Wickwood is the perfect place for a getaway. We've stayed in four of the rooms and they are all beautiful and tastefully themed. The bathroom is well stocked with wonderful products and I love the extra touch of the black 'make-up' embroidered washcloth. The common areas are comfortable and just as beautiful as the bedrooms. If food is your thing, then you must stay here… it's foodie heaven! Wonderful evening Hors d'oeuvres/wine and the most delicious breakfast. It's such a delight to see what treats (bite size sweets) are under the cloche in the afternoon and evening — or you can always grab a piece of fresh fruit (I'll take the sweets, thank you very much! ). The staff is gracious and charming — — they go above and beyond in making you feel comfortable and well taken care of. We've enjoyed our stays at Wickwood for the past seven years and plan to continue the tradition.

We were in heaven! They shouldn't change one thing! We loved our room and slept wonderfully. Fantastic food — we have already booked another visit.

Celebrated our anniversary here in January. It was very quiet the time of year we went which was nice. Breakfast was good but nothing spectacular (scrambled eggs and ham) but they do a happy hour with appetizers and wine that was wonderful.

The best word to use to describe the Wickwood Inn is, "quaint. " From the small, but comfortable rooms, to the decorations everywhere, to the friendly staff, the amazing food and the location (walking distance to pretty much anywhere you wanted to go) … everything was great. Except the bed. The only reason I'm not giving this five stars because the bed, which is an integral part of any lodging stay, was more like a trampoline than a bed. It was far too bouncy. There are few times during the night where I felt I needed to hold on as my wife was readjusting to avoid being bounced off the other side of the bed.

Even during the off-season, we felt like royalty with exquisite breakfast, delicious evening small plates, and the quaint, yet elegant atmosphere! Our hosts were most gracious! Great location, too! The food was so impressive, we had to buy copies of the available cookbooks! We will be back!

Just spent a wonderful weekend at the Wickwood Inn. Truly unforgettable! From the moment we were treated at the door we knew this would be special. The food was outstanding, the garden was awesome and the staff couldn't have bred more attentive. We will be making this a yearly custom.

Appetizers in the evening were delicious. That was such a nice bonus (we are accustomed to only breakfast served at a B & B). Then, the breakfast the next morning was beautifully presented… warmly served by a hostess … and scrumptious! The only small suggestion that I would have — Possibly a make-up mirror in the rooms. So that when hubby is showering… wife can apply make-up in a steam-free room (We stayed in the Uptown… and there was no mirror to do so. )

WONDERFUL INN! We come to Wickwood year after year to relax for a few days. The food is delightful and the staff is wonderful. Best location in town.

When first entered for check in, we were greeted with smiles and friendliness. The staff are so nice and so helpful about almost anything. They would go out of their way to provide as much information you need to go on with your day. Speaking of thr food, all was absolutely delicious, also they are healthy. I have no complaints about this place at all. Enjoyed every moment of it.

It's a beautiful place! Everyone is so welcoming and the food was amazing. It's the only place to stay!

Loved our weekend "staycation" at the Wickwood Inn — Can't wait to go back!

What a treat to finally get to try the Wickwood Inn! Although the calendar said early spring, the weather decided otherwise and tossed a nasty drizzle on gale force winds in the mid-thirties off the lake. But it proved the perfect setting to enjoy an afternoon in front of the fireplace with the Inn's signature sweets to accompany a good read. Then, a stunning array of small bites at 6pm took us further into the perfection of an ideal thumbing-our-noses-at-the-weather day. Don't miss the cranberry chutney and the many local cheeses, oh my. (Or the almond bark. ) Finally, after our sweet dreams in the Summer in Santori room — an immersion in both Greece and the season — we made our way through a wonderful three course breakfast with everything fresh and capped by lovely popovers, including a couple laced enticingly with just enough cinnamon. Don't miss the Wickwood Inn!

Our stay at the wickwood inn far exceeded my expectations! Our room and the living and dining rooms were beautiful and the food was amazing! Our inn keeper Jewels was also great!

The Innkeepers are so nice, friendly and accommodating. From our first steps into the Inn, we received a warm welcome, were shown around and asked if we had any questions. We arrived late, due to the Winter Storm that was brewing outside, they left the Appetizers they served earlier out so that we could have some nibbles before going to dinner. They were AMAZING! The beds were super comfy and the rooms were beautiful. The morning breakfast buffet was so delicious and the Innkeepers shared their recipes with us, which we have never found anywhere else. The other three guests that were staying there, were so nice and friendly and we enjoyed their company at Breakfast and with the Appetizers. We definitely will be back and this was our favorite place to stay with an Inn or B&B's and the most fun! We stayed in the Uptown Room.

My stay was amazing! The B&B is so comfy and cozy. The staff make you feel right at home. Breakfast was delicious and always served with a smile. The staff made sure I knew where all of the attractions were. My room was more comfortable than my room at home. I plan to visit again in all 4 seasons.

The room was a bit smaller than we had hoped. Also there was a fair amount of noise from early in the morning. Otherwise it was a very comfortable stay. The wine and appetizers were a nice early evening touch and the breakfast was delicious.

Ideal location in beautiful Saugatuck. Clean, well-appointed & comfortable rooms. Spacious common areas. The food is superb! Well worth the $$$$.

Nice staff, well decorated but room and bathroom were very small. You had to go outside to change your mind. The sink in the bathroom didn't drain well and hot water was not hot. The "Villa Room" had a 2 inch gap at the bottom of the door, we could see light under the door and hear conversation from downstairs. The Bowdie Chop House which the staff recommended was very good. Not likely to return.

Wickwood is a Lovely Little Hotel! From the moment we arrived our visit at this charming inn was first-rate. Ginger tea and wonderful cookies on the garden were the beginning of many taste treats. We were overwhelmed by the delicious flavors, creativity, and generousity of the foods served, morning, afternoon and evening. The Inn is quiet and peaceful-yet we were only a two minite walk to the very center of the village. Wonderful time.
