Contacted front desk and customer service about the deplorable condition of the sofa sleeper mattress the day we checked in. We asked for replacement mattress and were told they were full. No other solution offered. My husband then asked for and received a mattress cover. Because of the nastiness of this mattress we went to the store and spent $30 on a mattress pad. I also called customer service number and was told management of the hotel would contact me the next day. Nobody contacted me. When I checked out I told the manager I was disappointed no one had contacted me. She said, "it's been a crazy week. " First of all, there's no excuse for bad customer service. Second, with no breakfast, no pool, no fitness center and NO HOUSEKEEPING due to COVID 19 (which I understand) — hasn't their load been lightened. I actually needed a hotel for two nights starting last night — due to the situation at this hotel, we did not choose a Choice hotel. If this sight allowed me to post pictures, I would post them. Also, I do not understand the installation of the plexiglass. It is installed in the middle of the desk but the worker stands to the side, not protected by the plexiglass and expects the guest to do the same at sign in. Gave us a pen that wasn't wiped down to sign with. None of the workers wore masks. All in all, terrible customer service and a complete disregard for the health of their guests.

We always had great experience here. The beds are nice and comfy. The staff is very kind to us. Breakfast is really good. All the three times we got rooms with nice view. Staff is very responsive to our needs. The premises is clean and secure.

I have never stayed here, however it is tje hotel my family prefers when they come to town. Good sized pool, that is always clean. Rooms are always nice, and it's great to have the little kitchenette so you don't have to eat out for every meal.

Room was nice with a fairly comfortable bed. Water pressure was nice in the shower which is a delight coming from low flow shower head in MPLS at my apartment. Breakfast in the morning was decent but there wasn't much hot breakfast aside from coffee and waffles. Would have preferred eggs and some sausage or bacon. Pretty good experience though. Would recommend.

Nice facility, friendly staff, reasonable rate.

The rooms were spacious and it was convenient to have a full size refrigerator, especially when traveling with young children. Despite having a full kitchen there's no silverware, and we had to get a new key everyday because it would only work once. One of the mornings we were there, the water coming out of the sinks, toilet, and shower were brown for a few hours. The front desk staff was friendly and always happy to help. The daily complimentary breakfast and spaghetti dinner on Wednesday night was nice.

All the rooms are equipped with kitchen. Breakfast is free and it is OK. Near to Trget and Markus Cinema Theater. I had problems with toilet flush and the guys at the reception are quickly fixed it.

Very good place for business trips, comfortable rooms with Kitchen and other luxury amenities.

Good breakfast however didn't to the Hampton Inn next doors amazing breakfast, but with all the room is equipped with, you could easily make whatever you want to cook in the convienence of you own room! Only reason I didn't give all 5 stars was while outside in my vehicle smoking late at night, wasn't parked far at all from main entrance door, when out of no where a Hispanic looking male approached my window and when I look over and saw him with a shocked look on my face he just smiled and waved and keep standing there! Found that whole situation to be quite sketchy and rather disturbing as to the fact of what he intentionally came to my car window seeking?

Decent value and full kitchen and it's in a nice area…

The personnel were very friendly. The rooms were in good shape, the bed was very comfortable. However, I was on the 2nd floor andthere were children running around a lot on the 3rd floor. Otherwise it was good.

The staff has been very accommodating to our needs. They are remodelling, so there was a little extra noise during the day, but it was not bad.

Good rate for a suite type room and has a kitchenette. The breakfast in the lobby was actually better than I expected. We did have an issue with trying to change the reservation (in order to remove a night we had to cancel reservation as a whole) on one of our rooms due to the fact they over booked their rooms, but finally did get it resolved after talking with owner. I would have rated 5 stars if this issue hadn't presented itself.

My room was way better here than the $600 room I paid in California.

Great stay, clean room, good service and low price.

The room is great size and the chicken fully equipped but the strong smell from the corridor is so contagious that you smell it from inside your room too. 1st floor is a mess, front door used as storage place, laundry room on the way to the elevator. But the worst is having to ask for an extra key everyday since the key never works. For two days in a row, the different four keys they gave me didn't work, until someone went up with the master key to let me get inside my room. Quietly frustrating. Breakfast is very limited with no fruits at all.

In the middle of a remodel, wasn't bothered by anything. Friendly and helpful service. Room was ready before we even got there including a rollaway bed for a family Suite Overall very satisfied.

Clean, affordable and great location. The first time I stayed it was great. This time im not to impressed. Pool is freezing and I let them know a couple times to please turn on the heater. I still have yet to be able to use it. I also was charged twice. Rooms are clean and upgraded though.

Internet connection is very slow. Manager is not at all reachable to mention the issue. Staff does not know anything about it which is very bad. Saying reason as more people might be using it is utter nonsense. Everyone pays for it, he/she is not staying in the hotel for free. Its mentioned as High Speed Internet, but currently its running at very low speed. Even opening a web page takes time. I am staying here from almost 2 months. Tread mill is not working, informed to the staff but there is no action taken from almost one and half month.

The rooms were clean and spacious. The business center was small and hot, and their breakfast leaves much to be desired. The pool is heated and the pool area clean. Overall, this is an affordable, few frills hotel that I would probably stay at again.

Best hotel to stay for bachelor's. Have full speed free Wi-Fi, Swimming pool, Gym facility.

The room was great it was very clean and we had a microwave full size fridge a stove top and a coffee maker. The beds were pillow top mattresses which is a little soft for me, however they werent bad and overall we had a great time.

Free Breakfast is very limited. But I guess you can't expect much for something that's complimentary. Rooms are clean. Kitchen is well-equipped.

My wife's son and his wife and daughter, and my wife's daughter and her husband all live in Cedar Rapids. My wife, her mother, and I stayed here for Thanksgiving in 2014 and loved it. All eight of us were able to enjoy a very nice Thanksgiving dinner together. The staff was very accommodating when we requested extra plates and silverware and delivered them all to our room within minutes. The room was beautiful, and our stay there was very enjoyable. We planned on going to Cedar Rapids again this week for Easter to repeat our first stay and have Easter dinner Saturday night as a family. So, naturally we wanted to stay here again. Big mistake. I just called there to request additional place settings and was told that there are two in the room, and that all they could provide for the other six people is PAPER PLATES! I spoke to one girl who said she would check into my request and another girl got on the phone. "Are all eight of you staying in the room? " Give me a break. We want to have Easter dinner together, and the other five people all live in Cedar Rapids. We are driving two hours for this. If I hadn't booked the room through a website that allows no cancellations, I would have cancelled the room on the phone. Paper plates for easter dinner? we will never stay here again!

Good place for the budget, although the place constantly smells of bleach. TV could be better as in HD reception. Free food is good enough.

Its a good hotel … but, some lady workers here are so damn rude. They really need to learn manners for how to talk to costumers.

I stayed there for a one and half month and I must say this is just perfect. Shelly and Ginger always makes you feel like home they are caring and friendly. And Shelly cooks well.

Stayed the for a couple of nights and the New Managment Company Great Lakes or whatever was pathetic. There were bed bugs and loud people in the hotel whooping it up all night I couldnt sleep period. When telling the front desk person she just shrugged her shoulders like she didnt even care…
