Staff is super nice, my room was very clean. They respected that I didnt want to be bothered in a difficult move. Clean towels when needed. Quite setting well lite parking areas. Very happy with my stay :)

I'm giving 3 stars because there isn't much to this hotel, but you're not going to find many options out that direction. It's older, but my bed was comfortable enough and my TV and shower worked. That being said I have to give huge props to the guy working the desk this past Monday night. He was so friendly and helpful. He went out of his way to find me a room that had a deadbolt and a chain, then came back when he saw my key wasn't working. He went above and beyond in the customer service department, and I truly appreciated it.

I would give it a 0 if that is possible. They are very unprofessional, rude and discieving. On the website they make it look nice, and clean. It is the exact opposite. Please travel a little bit farther to stay in a clean hotel, and don’t make the mistake we made.

I would really like to know how they got a 3 star rating. I am confused on how that ever happened. I booked online with free cancelcancelation. Was told that I could not cancel. This was the worst mistake made, as I got to the hotel to check in and they had horrible service. I was told that I would have to wait a hr and a half for cleaning if not more. The gentleman was sooo rude. I asked him again about the free cancelation process I had spoken about as the whole situation was rather sketchy. He refused and said it's never an option. I didn't end up staying at this hotel however still had to pay for it and renting a room else where. I would not recommend this hotel to NO ONE! Horrible.

After we checked in we found mouse droppings on top of the counters. Dead bugs all around the base boards. The mattress was black. The floor in the bathroom was filthy. We checked right back out and moved to a hotel in Decatur.

When in the area you have 2 choices and it's the better of the two. Sam, the manager is very friendly and helpful, trying to please. We usually stay there.

Nice quiet little hotel best of all no bugs thanks for a good night sleep.

Was there for extended stay. It was comfortable.

The room was disgusting. Stained sheets, mold in the bathroom, garbage behind the nightstands, etc. Take your business elsewhere.

I absolutely love this motel. The manager is super nice and easy to get along with. The rooms are really clean. I am so happy that they are under new management. I will definitely come back and stay next time we come to visit.

This hotel recently has switched owners. I previously had a bad review up of this property due to the old management being dishonest and not refunding my pet deposit/Cash deposit. I decided to give this place another chance and I am glad I did. I was welcomed by Saban the new manager. He treated us fairly and the rooms where clean and the beds are comfortable. Housekeeping staff amazing. Would recommend to those in area.

I'm rating this place a 1 only because they do not go any lower. We booked online, arrived to the air conditioner not working. We roughed it for a bit due to being tired. Soon we started to look around the room and noticed trash from previous victims behind the end tables. An inch of dirt. Broken fixtures and busted/cracked shower unit. Doors are hard to open due to misalignment. Cigarette burn holes in bedding. Smelly from mildew and past cigarette smoke in non smoking rooms. Fridge not working. Black residue splatters on wall and blanket (I don't want to know what that was) they did refund my money and we went home early. So to sum it up Taylorville has only 3 places to stay. Next trip we will stay in Pana at a decent hotel. That is a dive!

My wife and I travel for work. We gave this hotel a shot as it was close to our work site for the weekend. We do bring our dog Max. Who waighs about 10 LBS they charged $25 dollars a night extra for the dog pluse a $35.00 refundaple deposit. We was checking out and was told due to us not having daily housekeeping they would not refunde us are $35 deposit. I would not stay here again when I am in in the area. Staff is very unhonest.

Nice place, clean and confortable and really quiet. Parking for two tractor trailers. Wi-Fi and still the stupid cable. Need Direct TV or Dish. $ 65.00 + tx on winter season.

Excellent staff! Nice and quite! Clean Rooms! I was there on labor day weekend had a wonderful time! Big area for kids to play! I would definitely go back and stay there again!

Sad accomodations for the price… ($105 for king) poor maintenance, beat up, … cleanliness poor, bathroom smelled of stale urine, floor sticky… continental breakfast was a joke… eat elsewhere for sure… 16 girl basketball team stayed and they could not feed them breakfast… did not have enough cereal bowls (? food) or chairs to accomodate them… no discount for this inconvenience… no extras… plus was hot water, new hairdryer.
