I booked 6 rooms through Priceline and paid ahead. When my family checked in I was still at work but the clerk charged my husband for 1 of the rooms saying it hadn't been paid for. Then the clerk proceeded to threaten to kick my family out for having too many people in the rooms. We had 2 adults per room and then my grandchildren. So he was going to kick us out for my daughters having more than 2 children a piece when this was never specified anywhere when I was making my reservation.

Rooms were nice. Although curtains on the first floor don't close and the AC units could be better. Bathrooms we're okay and the staff were sometimes laid back.

If you're in a budget and only going to stay for a night this is a good place to check in! It's clean, it's in a quiet neighborhood, and very accessible to other surrounding places like Fairview heights, Illinois or Saint Louis, Missouri. There is FREE continental breakfast, nice swimming pool and the rooms area really nice and neat! I will definitely stay again!

Had a good 3 night stay in the jacuzzi room. Husband was on a business trip. Felt completely safe. The room was really big and very comfortable. Can't complain about the bed or pillows. Never had trouble with noise. I noticed the washers and dryers were all out of order. Overall a good experience. Thank you!

The staff was super friendly and the pool was a lot of fun. We booked 2 rooms. One for our immediate family and one for my parents. Ours smelled a little, and the first 2 rooms they gave my parents had not been fully cleaned (There was garbage ready to be taken out on the floor). They made it right and comped them a suite. Breakfast was fine and the TV was above average. We had a great time there and would stop again.

The staff were kind and helpful. We did not take advantage of several amenities due to a short stay, but the Wi-Fi worked really well and we had no trouble checking in or out. The location is more out of the way of most places to eat and shop, but nothing is more than 10 minutes away and the price per night was lower than closer locations.

Front counter customer service needs improvement. Lady who checked us in did not smile or do anything welcoming more like it was a bother for her. However room was nice clean beds comfortable!

Great stay for the price. Pool was a plus. Great hot breakfast. Staff was nice. Cleaning crew could do better. Would definitely stay again.

Very old and not terribly well kept. The staff was friendly and the rate was inexpensive. Lots of TV channels. An entirely forgettable experience.

I stayed here with my family and I was sceptical on how this hotel would be for the family. It is 20 miles away from the gateway arch and could not be noticed from an driving vehicle… Then why 5 stars? The hotel was clean… I read reviews that said they smelled weed but may be they already came here on weed. I felt safe with my family here and the breakfast had good option. 8-10 items for a breakfast are not bad for a $50 per night hotel. The swimming pool was cleaned all the way on the day I reached but didn't get a chance to dive in… These don't have in house restaurant but the have IMO's delivery available. I ordered food at 5 and asked them to deliver by 7… All we got was awesome food. Sneak peak… the vending near washer and dryer are cheaper than the one near reception :). In all a good experience.

It was close to the area I needed to be which was great. But the room was kind of in disrepair where the wall paint was pealing amd the hotel was under construction. Bery comfortable beds!

Bed was incredibly comfortable. Room was relatively clean. Only problem was that the whole facility was supposed to be non-smoking, but a staff member was smoking right outside the door. The strong scent of marijuana was also smelled throughout our room one morning. So it is apparently not very well enforced.

Home fans hanging out the window looked like long term hang arounds but probably a 5 star if your looking to buy some crack either kind.

I stayed at this Super 8 last week. Everything went well while we were there so after we left I gave the hotel a good review just to find out that they charged me a smoking fee of $150 when I don't even smoke. My wife is asthmatic and is allergic to smoke. When I called and spoke to the manager on duty (Dwayne) told me he could not help me and then he informed me that they charged me that because I smoked marijuana in the room. That completely blew my mind. Never in my life have I been accused of doing drugs. I am absolutely disgusted after that phone call. I Tried to call Super 8 customer service line to have a recording tell me to call back later. I travel to this area all the time and I will never stay at this Motel again nor will I recommend anyone else to stay there. If I could give it a zero Stars I would.

Nice place to stay because of staff, but the owners are not nice people to deal with at all. Stayed multiple days and the lady is very rude and terrible business manners. Don't appreciate their customers. Rare of me to review a business this bad, but truth is truth.

As far as motels go this was as good as you can get. The rooms are nice and clean. And housekeeping isn't trying to run you out at 9 in the morning. They also serve a full breakfast so that was nice.

It is an excellent option to sleep, everything is clean, it is nice and not expensive.

Night work there was cool we needed something and he lookex for it till we got what we needed Rooms were a little old and needed some better cleaning.

I. Called to make a reservation for an employee. He arrives and gets told credit card has to be on the property. So I called Wyndam to book it and was told repeatedly it was past cancellation time so if I made reservation it couldn't be cancelled so I asked I need to pay over the phone " No problem sir you called the right people" WRONG! Still would not let him have a room but still charged me for the room. Your motel sux I will never even consider booking a room for another Wyndam property.

Very accommodating hotel. Definitely worth the stay. Amazing breakfast. Beautiful rooms. I enjoyed it.

It was Linda off the beaten path but am glad we stayed there. Bed was comfortable, room clean and had a nice breakfast menu. Staff was very friendly. Will stay again.

My family enjoyed our stay there during our visit of Wizard world. The rooms were clean and the staff really wanted to make sure we had everything ww needed. We will be back.

Very nice motel. Clean rooms, comfortable beds and pillows. Pet friendly! John who was a the desk when we checked in was inviting and funny.

Last resort hotel. Paint was bubbling and peeling from the walls. Hallways smelled of marijuana. Beds were uncomfortable and caused horrible sneezing fits. Also a 2 story hotel with no elevator makes getting luggage up a pain.

The room was clean. But bathrooms could be better put together. Kind of sketchy looking. The breakfast was nice but only served, cereal, waffles, yogurt, and fruit. Staff was polite.

Like any other person I read reviews and dint expect it to be nice but turned out to be really nice. Front desk employee was super nice even gave me and my mother a discount. Room smelled nice, clean sheets, pillows, nice deisgn and comfy feeling, bathroom was clean and stocked VERY nice cheap hotel recommended for sure lol.

I would normally never stay at a super 8 but a family member booked it. Really it impressed me, clean, big rooms. Lots of parking, easy location all good things. Could be a little more up to date but overall good quick stay.

Loved it! Very clean! HUGE for the low price you pay. Very friendly, welcoming staff. Amazing low price. (Guaranteed lowest in the area). Free breakfast, free Wi-Fi, free parking. And they allowed my dog to stay the night too. Mini fridge, tv, microwave included. I would without a doubt stay here time and time again.

The service was good, we got a great deal on the room and the breakfast was nice. It needs some updating, but for the price I thought it was a great deal!

Its in the 1100 East gate drive. I loved rhe staff and its clean. They have a good service and good breakfast as well.

I stayed here on my wedding night because the venue was within a mile. I booked 15 rooms with Super 8 about 6 months in avance. About 2 months until the wedding, I called just to make sure everything was still good. They had no information on my rooms because the previous manager had been fired and my information was lost with her which makes no sense at all. After clearing this up, I had multiple friends and family call and say that there was no information on my party for that night. I had to call three times to make sure everything was correct because they kept messing up rates, days and our names, which the rooms were under. Finally, everything was cleared up. We arrived at the hotel after around midnight to check in and they had no idea who we were and said we didn't have a reservation! I told the lady working the front desk I was upset, not at her but the hotel, yet the entire time she was incredibly rude. She displayed not even an ounce of hospitality nor was there an apology. I would recommend that if you are looking for a block of rooms for a group of people to look elsewhere as this place is not worth the hassle.

Hotel reception was very friendly, the foyer was nice and the pool area was nice as well but as we made our way to our room things started to go south. The doors on the rooms were banged up, the smell of old smoke started to overcome the air. We opened the door to our room and first thing, smelled like old smoke. After looking the room over, it was clear to see that the dark blue carpet in the room hadn't been vacuumed, it was visibly dusty, the bathroom floor had buildup, the furniture was dated and the paint was peeling in areas and The doors were visibly dirty, The shower had a great shower head and hot water. All in all, it made me feel gross and worried about bedbugs due to lack of cleanliness. I would only recommend this hotel if you're on a budget.

Nice quiet location the Room a nice. Good hot water. Reasonable breakfast. Reasonable Price. If I'm ever back in the area I would stay here again. The only reason for the 4 stars it is dated could-be updated a little bit better.

I'm still staying here. Not a bad place to stay. The area seems very quiet and not much to do immediately around the hotel. There is a restaurant next to it but it's closed down. I like that it has a pool as well. The hotel is fairly clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Karty gave me a pretty good deal for 10 days. No issues with it so far.

One of the entrances to the building was not locked and looked broken. I only found out because I was encouraged to park my car closer to the room. I saw no public entrances but parked anyway and tried a door in the back with a key card entry. I just pulled on the door and went in. I tried to pull the door shut behind me but I was unable to and I did not see how it would be easily fixed. I did not feel it was safe for me and my family.

We stayed there for one night. The room was clean an the staff was friendly — that's all i'm expecting for such a low price.

The rooms were nice and clean and big not very close to restaurants but good location small breakfast but good staff was nice and got you checked in fast. Big out door pool and a nice exercise room.

Very good service, nice pool and fitness center, it's a little dated but it looks like they are remodeling slowing. I had to wait just a couple minutes so they could put new furniture in my room, which I was just fine with. Good breakfast.

Friendly staff and spacious rooms. Far beyond my expectations. Beds were pretty hard. And the building layout was counter intuitive. Overall, nice for a short trip to St. Louis!

The overall cleanliness was surprisingly good. The breakfast bar was pretty good as well. The only complaint was it took forever for the biscuit breakfast sandwich to cook. Which leads me to believe that it was probably frozen for quite awhile. The pool was really nice. We took a dip in after hours and the management was ok with it.

We are here right now clean, friendly people, nice breakfast. I will definitely come again. Thank You.

Stayed here summer of 2015. Very clean, quiet and really enjoyed pool. Will stay again the next time we visit family.
