Staying here for work and love the spacious rooms.

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and quiet. Food is decent.

Staff is very attentive. Hotel is well cared for. We will stay here again.

Terrible customer service! Front desk lady was totally unprofessional. We stayed for a baseball tournament and ended up leaving hotel at night and driving the 2 hours home because we did not feel safe with things happening in hotel. I would never recommend this place to anyone. And the manager, Kierra, is no help whatsoever.

A fairly standard IHG offering. Clean, pleasant, with friendly staff. Will stay again if back in the area.

Room was very clean and positive customer service! Hot breakfast in the morning was a positive. Not sure why this was considered a 2 star hotel though.

Decent hotel, right off the highway. Pillows were too thick for a back sleeper. Lupe at the front desk was awesome!

The location is remote area, surrounded by many restaurants (Wendy's, subway). The rooms are clean and have great ambience. The room services Are good, but the breakfast don't include much options especially for vegetarians and chicketarians.

A nice property, right off the highway, on the border of Illinois and Indiana. Excellent customer service, there's a great Mexican restaurant in town, mediocre Wi-Fi, decent breakfast with fresh pears and apples.

Good hotel, bad breakfast.

Room is larger than the last few I've stayed in. Has a great "hidden" closet behind a full length mirror and the bathroom counter stretches the entire length of the bathroom, giving plenty of space for toiletries. Also has a USB hub on the night stand so I don't even need my wall charger.

Terrible service, had to cancel and they would not refund any of my money. I had three days prepaid. Will never stay at a Holiday Inn Express again and I will advise my friends to do the same. I can see charging a cancellation fee or even one night but three days is pretty much theft. A manager with any customer service skills would have taken care of the customer.

Always stay here when I'm in town love the part of being accessible two different stores.

The rooms are so clean with the environment so friendly. Staff are so friendly and customer service was top notch.

Pretty nice updated place. Using the app to book this place made it difficult to make any changes to stay. This is unfortunate. The receptionist forgot to offer water and snack.

Blood, hair and bread crumbs in bed! First of all, the front desk cheat me that they are booked out so they can't offer me an upgrade at check-in, which they weren't. Then when I got in to the room, I saw 3 hairs in bed. 3! I really doubt if they changed the sheets. I went to the front desk and asked for a room change. There was no apology, they just gave me the key to another room, which was a suite. When I went to the second room, I found hair on the pillow, blood on the pillow, and bread crumbs in bed! Did they really clean the room? They I got the second room change. By this time, I finally heard an apology. And I've been switched to another suite. It is also ironic that they told me they are booked out at checking-in When checking out, they offered me extra 500 points (about $3) as a compensation. This makes me feel even worse. 500 POINTS?

Very nice hotel, comfy beds and clean room. Breakfast was ok. But this is a shady area, I'm here on business, would not think of bringing my family to this area.

I don't get to stay at hotels much, but the room was excellent. Very clean, staff was very nice, free breakfast was delicious, and the Wi-Fi was very fast. Would definitely recommend.

Summary: This was a great stay and I would definitely stay again! Check in: The hostess was warm and welcoming. She explained everything we needed to know quickly but sincerely and made the process simple. Room: The room was spacious, clean and modern. I didn't have any issues with noise but I also like to keep the fan running in my rooms. The bed was extremely comfortable and clean. Amenities were available such as travel soaps and shampoos as well as a keurig style coffee maker. The furniture was intelligently placed and included a fridge, microwave and desk. Great room for relaxing or productivity. Noise: You could vaguely hear people moving in the room above but it's likely due to the construction of the floors. I'm not sure what could be done about this but it was a non issue for me. Fitness Center: This area was a bit lacking and could benefit from some free weights. It has one treadmill, one elliptical, one bike, stretching mats, a bosu ball and a cable machine. The world is becoming a lot more fitness conscious and free weights are important for accomplishing more complex strength building routines (dumbbells to at least to 45lb). The pool was clean and warm. It didn't look busy but had appeal. Breakfast: The breakfast was absolutely perfect. A great selection of typical breakfast foods as well as healthy choices. There was ample seating, a pleasant atmosphere and good coffee.

Room spacious and odor free. Toe nails all over the carpet. Asked front desk to have some one vacuum the room when we went to dinner… no one did. Didn't sleep well with guests above stomping through 3am. Asked the front desk to request them to stop. It didn't stop. Facility seems nice, employees are lazy.

Checked in late and the staff was so nice. Got my free upgrade. Room was large and very clesn. Breakfast in the morning was great and the price was good as well. As a frequent Holiday Inn Express user this one was great.

Dirty, blanket smell too bad they don't wash it, old hotel.

The staff here is horrible! Very unresponsive. We requested a new iro 3 times. All 3 times teh irons leaked dirty water, staining our clothes with brown water. The staff simply said "sorry. Our irons do that sometimes". I also had my ipod stolen from my room on the day I checked out. I live out of town and connot get managment or staff toreturn my call or even look into the matter. I filed a police report.

Terrible management. Even worse security (3 single women had 4 large men beating on our door and roaming the halls at 2 am). I could tell you about our stay, but litterally you wouldnt believe it…

Though what lead us here was unfortunate~BARNONE above scale. Clean! Very Friendly! Very Accomadating! Cribs for the Baby! Cartoons for my toddler! Full Breakfast! Rested Very Well! Thank You;)
