Very hot room with rude staff. Sparse sampling of a breakfast. No pool. Pillows feel like they're made of rubber.

A very Nice & clean place. Staff is pleasant. Everything. Was satisfying. All my needs were met. Will visit again.

Awesome room with kitchen and handicapped bathroom. Plenty of space in the bathroom. There was lots of space around the beds and there was a recliner in the "living room" area of the room. The kitchen is stocked with dishes & silverware. The hotel has a "convenience" store for snacks and microwave food. Very friendly helpful staff.

Room was very stuffy and small. We had a maintenance man beating on our door at 8 an trying to come in thankfully the latch was set so when he tried to enter he couldn't. I forgot my husbands shave kit with his electric razor called back to see if they could please mail it home. They said it would cost so iI that then all my credit card info. I called back a week later because it still isn't here to find out it is sitting on the desk with all of my important information in a on top for all to see. All of my credit cards info and they tell me today it will go out by 5pm may be here by day. I will never stay with them again. Very disappointed.

Great place to stay. Have stayed over 70 days. Staff is great. Tracy is always friendly of a morning. Cant complain.

I utilized this hotel's conference room for a training I hosted. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. They checked on us before and after the training event to see if we needed anything and if everything was ok. We will definately be using them in the future for events in this area.

Just needed a room for the night. They honored my Spire status and got me set up in a good room. Great pressure in the shower. Comfy bed.

It isn't the Crowne Plaza, but it's good if you want a simple place to stay that has the amenities of home. It's great to have a refrigerator, stove, microwave, etc. They're helpful and accommodating. During my last stay, they were doing a far bit of remodeling or maintenance, but it never got in my way and was only noticable if you looked. Not a bad place for the price.

Room has a fully stocked kitchen and they accept big old hound dogs, what more do you want?

Cheaper than Holiday Inn Express staff is great clean rooms all around great experience.

We had an awesome relaxing weekend. All the staff were great. As we were getting ready to leave even the housekeeping staff greeted us and wished us safe travels. One of the most relaxing places we have ever stayed.

Great place to stay! Clean and adorable. If you have a family and want to stay at a reasonable place where you can cook and save some money, this is the place for you!

Nothing fancy but a nice place to stay. Inexpensive option and decent location in Springfield. Most rooms have a kitchen so if you are staying a while this might be nice.

Do not stay here. I threw a Christmas party with my friends here. We cleaned up everything except some confetti pieces on the floor because we had no vacum and they charged me $250 THREE days after I checked out! They didn’t even inform me about it either, I found out by checking my account balance as I do every other day. I called and asked why I was charged and they said the room was completely trashed and a coffee pot was shattered, so I asked to send me pictures and Barbie (the gm) agreed. I called everyday for 5 days straight and they kept taking down the same phone number and email address I gave them! They refunded me my money because they had no proof I trashed the room because they were lying!

I don't even know why this hotel is rated higher than 4. Probably those are just from the guests that stayed only for one night. Our company has been using this hotel for nearly a year now. And our normal stay here lasts for months every time. Please, do yourself a favor and refrain from checking in to this hell-hole. These are the reasons why; 1. ) They don't have an in-house cleaning services, which means that there's just a schedule day that your room is going to be cleaned. You have to throw your own trash. Yeah, you'll be your own chambermaid and room service. The plastic bag that they provide for the trash can doesn't fit and too weak. 2. ) Their front desk people are rude and condescending. 3. ) Me and my colleague got bed bugs. 4. ) The corridors (to all floors) smell like strong chemical. 5. ) There was a time wherein during afternoon, they were testing the alarm. I was sleeping in the room and panicked because I thought there was an emergency. Not even an advanced notification or warning. It went on for 2 hours. 6. ) Did I already mention that you'll be your own chambermaid? Yeah, if you wanna change your blanket, bed sheet or pillowcases, you have to bring it to the front desk yourself and, of course, fix your bed yourself.

It's home away from home. I feel like I'm in a little appointment. This is very nice.

Was really nice and beautiful hotel. Great people. One worker named Glenn was really nice and helpful.

Great place to stay. Clean and a quiet place to get a good night's sleep. The front desk help is top notch. Tracy is on of the best. She and the other staff will go out of there way to make sure your stay is enjoyable and confertable. I spend many night away from home in hotels and this is by far one of the best.

I stay here more than I stay at my own house and Tracy takes really good care of all us. Sweetest woman in the world!

There isn’t anything I didn’t like. Room clean comfortable and even got a fan from them. Last place was in kenosha right by our home and it was awful. Dirty, construction mess ups, night apoplectic were rude, noisy and I don’t know how since the hotel is really away from general public. Wasn’t pleased and so it was difficult to stay at another but glad I did because it was totally different. We were also offered free dinner for a business nearby. Very unpleased with this kenosha place. Springfield IL place was great.

Loved having a kitchenette in the room! The staff was very friendly, gave me a great deal on the pet fee (We have two small dogs), and it was just a good experience overall.

Don't book anywhere else. Book here. -For a great price Candlewood feels damned just like home. The amazing staff has treated me BETTER than family. I've been staying here for 8 months and I have 5 more months to go. I never thought I'd say I will miss a budget friendly hotel. -My room has always been immaculate all 32 weeks. Easily the nicest extended stay hotel I've ever stayed in. (I travel for work and stayed in maybe 20 or more so far. ) The bed, sheets, pillows, cutlery, cookware, bathrooms, and appliances are all new and nice. -Free restaurant-catered supper on Wednesday nights as a thank you to the guests. You will definitely enjoy every aspect of your stay.

Very clean and extremely friendly staff. Does not have a continental breakfast which was disappointing. I understand why they don't, it's not geared for the one night guest but still. Other than that it was great.

The best hotel I have ever been too. My family and I were staying in Springfield IL while our father was in the ICU at St. Johns Hospital for three weeks. The staff and owner at Candlewood Suites could not have been more accommodating. During one of the most difficult times in my life the owner made it so easy for us to have a place to stay while we were in and out of the hospital all day long. The rooms are so large and clean. Everything you need for extended stay is either in your room or available for rent. You can even rent movies. The kitchenette comes complete with everything we needed to save money by eating in the hotel during such a financially difficult time. I am forever grateful to these amazing people and truly feel God place them in our lives during that time. We cannot say enough good things and advise everyone staying in the Springfield area to stay at Candlewood Suites.

The hotel was easy to find the rooms were Nitis I the excellent service MUI Good Hotel I recommend them.

Everyone that worked here was very friendly even to the point of letting me check in early.
Worked nights not to much noise during the day.
Only gripe is one of the desk clerks seems like he doesn't know his job and how to do it effectively. Besides that I would return and booking direct instead of hotels. Com better rate.

Nice clean room with a cozy feeling. We were well pleased with the check in process. Staff was friendly and helpful!

Arrival: great welcome. No towels at all in room. It's happens and they took care of me.
Gym: very disappointed. Really old and run down machines. Off balance bars on circuit, treadmill makes horrific noise, elliptical needs oiled, no weights, no towels. We complained, the front desk was very attentive and took notes. Hoping they do something so I can come back. Otherwise I love the rooms and the hotel. Just needs to fix these issues. I still recommend them.

Rooms are okay, the bed sags. Cleaning service is only once a week. There is no breakfast or pool. If you can, get a room next door at the Marriott Residence Inn.

Staff was helpful. A pretty nice setup but our AC wasn't keeping up and the room got pretty warm. A great value overall though.

How can you complain when you have FREE coffee, fruit, free usa today, free use of washer and dryers, can borrow appliances and movies! If you need something, just ask Gabe, the manager, and he will get you whatever you need. Such a great staff. Thank you Candlewood for a great weekend with friends.

Such a nice hotel. The rooms are spacious and cosy. Great kitchenette, bed, shower all of it was great. I travel for my company and I stay at a lot of really nice hotels in a lot of different places, this one is the best.

I have been here for almost 2 years and the staff has been great! I adopted a dog while in the area for work and the staff has been so welcoming and friendly to him. He just loves everyone here and gets so excited to see the hotel staff. I would highly recommend.

Everything Very clean, affordable, nice people, helpful, full kitchenette, everything looked new and worked well. Many food items for sale downstairs and very cheap prices. Fitness room and BBQ grills to use, toaster ovens to borrow from front desk. We travel a lot and we were very shocked to find it so good for so little money, since we had never heard of the candlewood suites.

Excellent location for a short term housing. Staff was excellent and worked quickly to resolve any issues.

Location was close to the freeway. Room was said to have 2 beds and a pull out couch for a family of 7, but on arrival only had one bed and 1 pull out couch. Even with the roll away bed one of us slept on a recliner and the room was unbearably packed. We didn't have breakfast. I can't remember if it was offered. There isn't a pool. They are pet friendly, and the staff stands around making jokes about guests. Yes your voice carries, losers. The a/c was really awful. Could not get that room with the bed cool to save our life and we have bad allergies and asthma. I have stayed at better Candlewood facilities. Not too bad if it is just you and you don't care about a/c. Not for bigger families at all.
