We got to our room opened the fridge and about lost our dinner, the smell was horrible. The tub was clogged. We let those things go until we found dried blood on the comforter. The last night we were supposed to stay (a Saturday) we walked into elevator and could smell marijuana. It also smelled so bad of marijuana on the second and third floor. After telling the manager on duty he switched us rooms, get in room open fridge and there was still food left in the fridge. There was also women screaming at each other on the second floor in their room. We left after that. The night manager did offer us a free night stay next time we come back, however I will never take my family back there.

Definitely a great place to stay along with great staff!

They are so friendly there. … sweet staff. Only issue was chlorine in pool area. … it was about 10 x more powerful than normal and burned, severely, all our eyes, even if we didn't get in the water. My sons were really suffering after getting in, briefly. And they are 18 and 19.

I stayed here for 3 nights and I loved over all service. Decent and tidy rooms. Good breakfast.

Room was very clean and spacious. The shower head was extremely moldy though. Breakfast was hot and good. I liked the option to make my own waffles, but it was only one waffle maker. Trever is very friendly and helpful. I wouldn't have come here if it wasn't for my step daughter.

I go to many states traveling. Stayed at various hotel chains. Almost all that I can think. Comfort is my mid — range stay first pick hotel. The beds are more comfortable than just about everywhere I stay. If I had a complaint list or a pro vs. Con. Fewer complaints here and more pro than con.

Room was very clean and spacious. Breakfast was good too. Trever is very friendly and helpful. I wouldn't have come here if it wasn't for my step daughter.

The hotel was undergoing renovations (which wasn't mentioned on your website when we booked the room for almost a week). Nevertheless the room we were placed in was good. The breakfast was not the best that we have had in other hotels. It would be nice if we had been forewarned regarding the renovations.

It was a wonderful visit, the guy at the desk was nice and even willing to keep the pool area open pas close time and breakfast was amazing and was even extended past normal time I will definitely come back.

The is remodeling from the lobby to the rooms. It looks awesome. The rooms are big and comftable. The staff can't do enough for you. I'm staying here for the next four days, work related, I don't think there's a better hotel around.

I was never told that they were closing the pool/hot tub room for painting. That's why I left for a different hotel. Their remodeling project was planned poorly! Too many obstructions in the hallways to be able to walk through safely in an emergency.

Rooms were big but falling apart, hairs on towels, trash not taken out, personal items moved around and a simple pack of baby wipes taken, cleaning products left in room. Lobby was pretty nice, will not be back to this location for sure. Will be talking to corporate also! Good luck if you stay here.

Stayed here for one night. I worked in a hotel for a while so I know a lot the responsibilities and rules for the average hotel employee. I was fairly unimpressed by the employees at this specific comfort inn. While the hotel itself was in good condition and my room was great, the service was a little under par. Most hotels I have been at the guest service representative was dressed nicely in slacks and a bottom up. This specific individual was wearing a basketball sweatsuit. I originally mistook this man as a hotel guest over the actual front desk attendant. In the morning when I went down for breakfast around 7:30am, all the morning shift employees were eating breakfast rather than working. I waited at the front desk for 5 minutes before the attendant cane over and checked me out, o my to say “oh you should have hollered for me I didn’t see you! ” That was frustrating as it’s not my job to find them, it’s their job to be their when they’re needed. Overall though, rooms were great, breakfast was great, I just think management needs it take a look at the employees and do a little more training with them.

A dump get away from here got our room the temp was 40 could not get in bed to damn cold could not take a shower to cold, only a few lamps work no lightbulbs in it, frig did not work night clock did not work only good thing had good pillows thats It's DO NOT STAY HERE!

Stayed two nights. My stay was pleasant. The room was fairly clean. The receptionists were not very professional with their side talk when I was checking out. But besides that it was a pleasant stay.

Worst experience ever. J River of guest services I had to call 10 times to get him to answer and answer my simple question. He gave me the wrong info of my bill and I thought I was charged less since I could not stay my entire reservation because of an emergency in my home town. Then I called the next day about it after receiving an email of a different receipt. The weekend staff told me I could be accomaated by Bill on Monday and refunded since I wasn’t properly aware of the cancellation policy. Then at check out I left an item with J River because he said it was okay to leave with him for my sister to pick up. He took down my phone number and my sisters as well. She went Monday and all of a sudden he has no recollection of this and doesn’t know what we’re talking about and he may have saw it around 3pm the day I checked out yet I checked out at 8:55PM. Called the manager Bill on two different occasions about the bill and my item I left for my sister to pick up and he couldn’t have cared less and made me feel like I was delusional and didn’t leave anything with J River and I had to ask him to check cameras before he said that’s what he’ll do. And he did absolutely nothing to work with me on my bill, it’s like customer service is foreign language to these people. Rude, inconsiderate and apparently thieves!

Loved the lady that checked us in, sorry I didn't get her name. She was happy and very friendly. We had a great night.

There is not much around here within walking distance, everything is at least a 15 drive. But the hotel is in good shape and the breakfast offering standard. It is a good stay for a business trip.

It was very clean and comfortable. We were able to bring our 1 year old and he had plenty of room to play around in the room so I'm very satisfied with the experience.

This was as great hotel. Very comfortable and affordable. Breakfast was good with a few vegetarian options. Tea and coffee.

BED BUGS! I stayed in room 122 on September the 8th 2017 and I was startled in the middle of night when I discovered BED BUGS crawling all over the pillows. Since I was traveling with my 6 week old son, upon arrival I asked the front desk host if they'd ever had a case of BED BUGS and she insured me that they had not. I check in around 11:30PM and checked out around 2AM. DO NOT STAY HERE! I had to select a star to post but this hotel DOES NOT get a single star.

For the elegant vibe they strive to look, there is a lot lacking. I was greeted by a woman beating me through the front door as she blew the smoke away from her face, but dressed well. The room was very clean. The breakfast was subpar. The cooked items looked like children's plastic food toys. The boiled eggs were rubbery and fake. But there was fresh fruit and other good looking items. The pool and hot tub looked good. However when they say it opens at 6am they mean the door is unlocked but the hot tub isn't bubbling or warm. They have an office center I didn't use but looked organized and clean. Comfortable stay, but not classy like they strive to show.

The experience here is lovely. It's not luxury, but it is a very calm place. Rooms are always clean. Good place to stay.

Very clean, new looking, quiet location. Rooms were very large and quiet as well. Great experience.

The hotel rooms are nice, but you can smell the chlorine from the pool as soon as you come in (I wouldn't recommend to stay on the lobby floor because thats where the pool is) The gym is pretty small and only has a cable machine and treadmill, but at least they have a gym. Nice complimemtary breakfast every morning. Overall my stay was nice.

The room we had was very nice, clean, and larger than I expected it to be. Lots of power outlets which is always a plus. Friendly staff. I would definitely stay there again.

This is a great place to stay. Quiet, clean, friendly staff. I stay here even if I have to work in Southbend. The breakfast needs some improvement.

Really nice comfort suites. The rooms are bigger and have a fridge and microwave. The beds are nice.

Great room, however the two Queens seemed a bit squeezed because of the half wall dividing the room. If it had been built a foot over it would have been perfect.

Comfort Suites South is one of the better options for hotels in Elkhart. Very clean and orderly rooms, standard free (but bland) breakfast, and it's location on the south side of town is good for my needs. Pool and hot tub is actually decently clean, but small.

Great customer service and great rooms plus a pool and hot tub. All rooms have a fold out couch and their Wi-Fi is better than most other hotels.

We stay here every time we are in town, at least a few times a year for the past 5 to 10 years. Hotel is clean, convenient and we get a reasonable price. Water is hot, breakfast is free and Wi-Fi works. We'll continue to use them.

Everything was as expected… clean room and everything, good service. Toilet plungers have to be held down almost a second to flush which is inefficient and annoying but not really a huge problem.

A great hotel that I've stayed at a lot in Elkhart. Super comfortable beds, spacious rooms, nice bathroom and more.

Great place to say well maintained very friendly people rooms are very nice breakfast at 6 a. M. Is very good Coffee is awesome would highly recommend it.
