Everyone of the staff was friendly, which is hard to find in this industry. We stay at a lot of different hotels, ect… I was staying there due to my husband having a medical emergency and was in hospital for 8 days. Everytime I came in they asked about him. I suppose I should add the hotel and rooms were clean and maintained.

Not charge me 900 f*#! @g dollars on top of the room rate. But don't worry, we didn't actually charge your card… so then why in the hell does my account reflect almost a stack, then 3 days later it is $1.87?

Our original room had trash under the bed, hair on the sheets and the room smelled. Our replacement room was clean, but it was run down. For my first time visiting one of that hotels, I was definitely disappointed. They didn’t discount the room for our trouble either.

Clean spacious rooms, lending lockers for things like cork screws, cupboard pantry & sundry, full kitchen along with dishes, pots & pans & we love the full fridge!

There is an indoor pool and free laundry yep free laundry.

Was not familiar with Candlewood Suites until last year a friend recommended them. We loved it! We also became local event vendors for their Associate Appreciation Day and a Guest Vendor they were totally awesome! Nice in location close to everything!

Sometime near the end of September and beginning of October there was a lightning strike on the hotel building which lead to a power surge throughout the building. I have been living in this hotel for the past two years now (along with many other contractors). Unfortunately, the power surge from the lightning strike was able to pass through my surge protector and damaged internal components of my computer. Initially, the front desk told me that they would take my broken electr…onics and request their insurance for reimbursement. I then waited 5 months for a response. Trying to get into contact with the manager has not been successful for me. I have asked the front desk to ask the manager to call me or email me, but I have not received a response. I was recently told by the front desk that we would not be getting reimbursed in any way. It has been over 5 months since this incident. I am not only displeased with the untimely manner that this problem was dealt with, but also the lack of compensation. Living in an extended stay hotel, I would expect that significant accidents to no fault of my own, such as a lightning strike, would lead to compensation for loss of personal items. The hotel staff are plenty kind, but communication from the manager seems lacking. I also do not enjoy staying somewhere that does not take care of its guests in circumstances such as this.

Brought a group of great kids over to the Tim Tebow prom! Great event, great town, great place to stay!

My foster son and I got stranded due to the snow and the staff were more than helpful letting us stay in their lobby and use their facilities. We made it home safe! Thank you Candlewood Suites!

Nice rooms. Very helpful staff. Bed was not bad. Clean. Nice amenities and very clean.

Staff is nice, has everything in the room. Clean rooms and comfy beds. Laundry is free.

The location is great being on 2nd street. 3rd street is where all your other hotels and restaurants are, but the traffic is God-awful so location is a plus. The store in the building is run off of an honor system so it made it convenient to buy some laundry detergent when I needed it. Staff is very friendly and quick to fix your needs. Has a gym, pool, and laundromat, all well maintained. Idk if I caught a bad time or what, but the laundromat was pretty busy the one time I used it. Expect to wait. My coworker and I did run into some maintenance related issues in our rooms, but the staff was very brisk in rectifying our situations. The one night the fill valve gasket on my toilet had failed, and the GM himself came up to fix it and we had a long chat about plumbing. Really nice guy. Last note is a big plus; these walls are the most soundproofed hotel walls I've ever experienced. It is dead quiet at night aside from the hum of the A/C. If I'm ever back in town for work I'd prefer to be here again.

Very high class place. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Nicest hotel in Bloomington in my opinion.

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. They charge my company $336 and charge me another $275. Try calling but no one answer the phone. Very disappointed! Plus the pillows are very smelly and Wi-Fi won't reach my room.

Rooms are nice. They have a small kitchen which is great for the price of you have an extended stay. Also pet friendly.

I got this room on short notice. Daniel at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. I thought for the price we received an outstanding value. Not exactly close to downtown, but in a great location to pick up an uber. If I ever had to spend an extended time in Bloomington, this would probably be my first choice.

Two stars is all you get this stay. Would have been four stars. Had came here from hospital recovering from pneumonia. I know my problem. Paid for three nights, after second night knew we needed a four night. Was told that night was booked. That's fine and asked to be put on a list in case someone counciled. On the day of check out just before we needed to leave. We called down to see if there was a councilation and was told no. Fifteen later at front desk I made off the cuff remark that we loved the room just wished we could have stayed one or more nights. Was told no problem they had several vacancies if we wanted to check back in. WHAT… Your kidding me. On the way out then you smile and say you have rooms. Why didn't you call the room. I'm not happy even though your rooms are nice. Oh, I left. Sick or not principles were more important.

Good room, kind of pricey and I wish the pool was a bit bigger, but overall I enjoyed my stay.

Great room! Clean, comfortable, and the amenities are top notch. The fitness center actually has weights! It's not simply an aerobics room.

This was a very nice hotel. Room was very clean and spacious. The bathroom was really large and the staff was very friendly. It had a large desk which was very convenient for work.

One of the best candlewoods I stayed at. Great and friendly staff. The rooms are awesome. Very much enjoyed my stay will be staying there again in the future.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay, especially for longer than a couple nights. Rooms are large and spacious with comfortable furniture and set-up. Complete with stove, dishwasher, and full size refrigerator. Modern style and tons of complimentary amenities. I will most definitely stay here anytime I am in town.

Great all around place for an extended stay. Staff is great. Everything is clean and well kept. I haven't found anything to complain about yet and I've started here the last 3 weeks.

Lovely hotel! The room is great for both a professional and a casual stay. The bed is comfortable, there's is plenty of space and they offer games and cooking ware to rent.

I'm staying here now and will be for the next few months for work. I love the layout of the rooms, the amenities and even the option to rent out (for free) various kitchen appliances like food processors and slow cookers. My one main gripe is that the internet here is absolutely atrocious. My download speed is 2.6mbps. I had faster internet in 2000. I've been in third world countries with faster internet. If they could update their internet to have faster speeds then I would give this place a 5/5 but as it stands I'm only giving it a 3.5/5 because there is hardly any excuse for such abysmal speeds in this day and age. And I'm even connected via the ethernet port so it isn't the Wi-Fi thats the problem.

Very excellent service and the rooms are very clean and has a home feel to it.

Rooms have a full kitchen which made our stay more comfortable, easier and enjoyable. I was able to cook our food during our stay. Now that's nice. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, there's free coffee and tea bags at their little store which is a plus. We'd definitely go back to this hotel. The staff are friendly and nice.

This hotel simply has the best to offer. The rates are extremely competitive, and all rooms are suites. The hotel is new, and very clean. Many amenities are offered in order to create the best, most comfortable experience.

The Wi-Fi is weak and low speed, often disconnecting. It doesn't work when you're outside by the grill. Speaking of which, they were never cleaned, had to do it myself, with another guest. The only cleaning they do to my room weekly is make the bed up and out dishes in the washer. Other than that, no vaccum, countertops nor wiped, and I had to go get new towels personally because the never replaced it.
It's quiet and the front desk is friendly.

Stayed here awhile ago and it was great. I've always enjoyed my stay at any Candlewood.
